My only goal today is to pack up the hotel room and get home safely.
Ashlyn is evading to work but thinks she will be able to leave early so we can drive in the day light. The car is drivable, but there are no front grill turn signals. But it's a new car so there are others you can see from the front, and the police officer said it was driveable.
I guess this trip I wasn't met to sit and relax and do nothing but craft. It's been one thing after another.

Have a great day everyone!

Thankfully my house is in fine shape because everything I seem to touch today is not making any visible difference in my home...taking things out of closets and bins...

Making a difference only for myself...

Next up...

nic-nak, paddywhack...toss...toss...toss
Can I do a 27-fling boogie of just bear items?

Gonna try...

Put a basket on Red Bear's desk...when he saw it he said...why is this basket on my desk?

I replied...because you made it in 2004! Don't need it in my things...I can find a basket I made in 2004 and use it!

NONE of this was on my list for today...but...it is what is happening...

We are about at the half way home point going directly to garage. Rental car company will pick us up there. The car is making so much noise. We hit a bump and it sounds like the front is going to fall off.

My parents neighbors does square foot gardening in raided beds. It works well for them. And they grow really nice root veggies.

Hmmm that would be me. I have to step every where. My current garden is 20 ft by 30 ft. Which I have divided into a 10 by 20 ft inner garden with a 2 ft wide walkway all the way around and a 3 ft wide raisedbed all around the perimeter. Im considering dividing the inner garden into several raised beds. Like 4 3 by 10 ft beds with walkways between. There would be many advantages but lots of work and some money spent to get there. It will happen eventually. Hopefully this year, which means I will be digging up and transplanting some thins. But that would me great!

What I have done:

made bed
picked out krapoppa's clothes
packed his lunch
removed towels from dryer
put guest mattress pad into dryer
started sheets in washer
family devotions
read on computer
made list for this morning (only for guidance as I know I am a SHE again today)

Realizing that life for me right now is "If you give a mouse a cookie" type of life...using a list is helping keep me somewhat focused.

kracousin will be here in time for supper...then let the sewing days begin!

Today's Mini Mission:

Let's dust the living room today. (I can hear it now, every one is saying, "hip hip hooray!" ) Don't forget about ceiling fan blades, window sills, mantles, etc.....

My living room was clean, vacuumed & dusted earlier in the week & now... flowers have taken over the floor. Hopefully, this is the last night that they will have to be brought in. Maybe...

Hey peeps! Today is Mom's birthday so we'll be hanging out with her. First, I need to make her card, wrap her present (ie: find the right size gift bag that doesn't have Buzz Lightyear or Darth Vader on it), and make some kosher for Passover chocolate chip walnut cookies - thank you Martha Stewart!

Joyce - So glad your daughter is safe! That is so upsetting and driving a messed up car is nerve-wracking!

Cher - Square foot gardening sounds interesting! That's about all we'll have room for once the giant play set is finished! And on the Passover stuff, this is one way of doing it. The other way also gets rid of anything made from corn, rice, lentils, and I think legumes. But really it's the derivatives that get you. Starbucks drinks have gluten in the syrup. What is the alcohol in your extract made from? Nobody knows! Malt syrup and yeast are in a surprising number of things. And playdough is straight up out.

Melissa - Hope you feel a little brighter as the day goes on. I'm not really sure of the merits of being bushy-tailed.

kramomma - Yikes! 30 degrees would not draw me out of hibernation, but hey, one less snake!

Okay, just caught up on the other threads. Need to start my cookies while I think about what I want to do for her card.

Mornin' all!

I need to make a list for today, but I'm feeling somewhat befuddled. Here's what I've done so far...

Made bed
Dressed to Shoes (no makeup yet)
Set up a dinner date with Dear One
Got Dear One out the door
Talked to DS (aka Electrical Einstein!) who just started a 3-midnight job and goes to school from 7-2. He's tired! Go figure...
Went through morning emails
Devotions
Fed and walked dogs
Drank 10 oz water (on my way to my goal of 90+ for today)

I guess breakfast is next. Then I'll try to make a list...

Good morning.

We are home, safe and well. Car to shop, rental in driveway. I've never had or been in an accident. You can tell she's a little shaken still, but definitely pays more attention to her surroundings.

I do not do snakes at all either! Yuck! Or mice.

We are considering a 4x4garden. It really does sounds doable and productive.

What are you sewing Kra?

I've been up and fluttering.
3 loads of laundry done
Bed made
Kitchen dishes done
Dining room dusted

TDD
Vacuum downstairs and stairs
Scrub floors
Dust stairs
Mini mission

It's funny how the mini missions tends to he things. Plan on doing that day. I planned on dusting the downstairs before checking in, it's half done. Great minds really must think alike and all that.

Have a great day!

WELL>>>>>I got sidetracked...after I took Tready for a walk.
What I did was:
move guest towels to different drawer so full dresser is available for guests to use.
moved a cord that was on desk in guest room, put it where it belongs.
hauled 3 boxes of bear items upstairs.
wrapped bear items from bear hutch.
flipped rugs.
started next load of rugs.
folded dried rugs.
got Pink Snuggles to put away a couple of her items.
sent a text to someone.
folded up wrapping paper.
had Red Bear make 2 copies of the medical results showing he and Kub are identical twins.

Now...
going to ask another question on
