I started her follow-up book Happier at Home last night! I haven't read the first one yet, but I'll read it next if I like this one.

Morning! I stayed up until 1 am last night cutting out sewing projects. It could have been a disaster, but the kids slept all night! We went for a walk last night, I started reading a book, and did a little craft work. Plus, I think we went to bed with a cleaner house than we started with yesterday. Not by much, but every little bit helps.

I'm sure I'll do some TDDs today, but a list so I don't forget anything major.

Get out challah dough
Find Kohls cash
, go if it expires tomorrow - expires the 30th so I'll only go if something awesome is on sale
Sew burp cloths
Make a card
Laundry
Pay credit card bills
Get clothes ready for tomorrow
Paint nails
Go outside
Find Office disk
Decide on pti

My dh asked what I wanted to do tonight, but I've got nothing coming to mind. It's looking like a dinner and relax by the fire place kind of night.

Today...
Laundry started
Breakfast done
Kitchen swipe, dishwasher
Rework pattern, again....
Mini mission, completed with first load of laundry! I love when that happens.

Paula, how is blogging from the phone? Ihaventrouble blogging with my iPad,I don't know how to get my pics on the blog. But maybe the phone is easier.

I have my PTI list started! I'm well over the free shipping mark so if anybody wants anything I would be happy to order it for you.

Don't forget the release contest on the PTI blog. I've ne'er won anything there but a girl can dream!

It wasn't bad! I used the blogger app. I did have to go in later and move the photo up. With the app it seems you can only add them to the bottom of the post and I like my supply list last. I will definitely take a better picture next time. I haven't tried the ipad. I have a first generation one so no camera.

I will definitely get free shipping on my own. Just not sure what all I'm buying yet. Thanks, though!

what i got at Aldi's for my $16.00 versus what i got at our local store for $16.00

i got things at Aldi's that i would have to pay a lot more for in my regular store. The black berries on sale at home store this week are $2.50 per same size box these were $1.39. The cauliflower that cost me $5.89 at regular store was $1.99 at Aldi's. Chobani yogurt sells for $5.39 at local and FAGE (which i like better but our store doesn't carry it) was $3.29. So there really is quite a savings at Aldis but i just don't get to Wausau that often. It's 32 miles from us however i am thinking it would be worth the gas to drive there and back with a list for more than just a few items. It was fun to just see what the difference is. I do want to support our local store too b/c i am thankful they are there and carrying way more stuff than they used to when they were SuperValu. They are now Sentry.

Gotta stay on task today so we can be ready to drive to practice when Kevin gets home. Practice tonight, an indoor competition in one city & an outdoor 3-D competition in a different one are our plans for this weekend.

It was so fun to watch how other people were in awe of the 2 young women who are on the US Olympic team... "I'm not gonna wash my hands for a week now!" type of reactions. My boys have "talked" with them a couple of different times at events & the celebrity status doesn't even register with them. They just walk up & give them a hug & talk with them like they are people they see every day.

Tomorrow is our last indoor competition & then we go outside... rain or shine!

Some could say that being OCD does make a person "need" to read books written in order!

Normally, I would read the first book first, but this one is a library book and my mom has a copy of the other one so I don't have a time limit on it. (I requested both books from the library before I remembered she had The Happiness Project.)

Sure. I use this tutorial, though. The Best Burp Cloths

I use flannel for the back. Sometimes I use flannel for the front and the back.

good inner stuff going on with those boys. when Sarah was little she and her friend we in the pool in CA with the Mighty Ducks kids and that's the way most of the other kids in the pool were acting and Sarah and friend got right in and they and the Mighty Ducks had a great time just being kids together. I think she was about fourteen at the time.

Paula, those burp cloths are cute. Wish I had a need!

Jane, we don't have Aldi but we have a Menonite store that has much better prices then the grocery store. My husband is addicted so our pantry is well stocked!

There is a Mennonite store in Sparta, WI where I like to shop...I buy my canning "surejel" there by the pound (okay...by 10 pounds!)...haven't been in a couple of years...it is 3 hours away...different direction than that nice craft store!

The Amish candy that they sell is...uhm...addicting!

I wish it were 88! We are at 37 today, I'm freezing!

I had a productive day. I finished not just one but 2 sewing projects! I made a silhouette cover for a friend. I hope it fits I had to use an online pattern from a blog and don't have any way to try it.

Wow Cher, I'd love to come to your house for St. Patrick's day. Sounds like you're going to have some wonderful goodies.

Joyce - I'm afraid to give money as well. Like you siad, you never know what it's going for. We have one guy that is not homeless in the since that he doesn't have a place to stay. He actually stays in a nearby motel. He has a sign that say's 'Homeless will work for food'. We, on occassion, give him one of the bags but he's there nearly every time I go to dd1's house (and that is often 2-3 times a week).

Janeen - I have to say I do feel really good about what we got accomplished yesterday. I got a lot done at the college today as well - it must have kept mojo flowing.

We have an Aldi about 30 minutes from us. I have never been in but have always meant to try it. Maybe this will be the weekend for new adventures.

Misti - The pics of your boys are really good. Love the one of him drawing his bow. And I really like your cards as well.

Paula - I used to make burpcloths for the my children, then the grands. Thanks for the memories.

Kramomma - We have an Amish (or rather Menninite) store about 35 minutes from us. We visit it every now and again. DH loves their fried apple pies. I am hoping to re-learn (I used to help my grandmother) how to can goodies as well as make jams and jellies so I may have to check and see about their selection of helpful devices and potions. LOL

I got loads done at work today during the 6 hours I was there. I got there at 9:15 and worked until 3:15. Thank goodness I had a snack in my purse or I would have been really hungry by the time I left.

When I got home dh said my car would probably be ready around 5 but they found that the water pump was getting ready to go out and the belts needed to be replaced so guess what else got fixed. We decided to eat in since that extra was only and extra ...uhm uhm...$180 bucks. So I made country fried steak and gravey, home fries and onions, and green peas. We even had enough for dh to take a plate for a late dinner for him tonight at work.

We went and picked up the car. DH went to work and I came home to finish up the dishes. I also made the list of stamp sets, punches, embossing folders and a couple of other things as well. I will get them typed up tomorrow but will probably not do anything else with them until the end of the month when we get back from our anniversary trip.

Sounds like everyone had a busy day getting all kinds of things done.

I didn't get any of this done today but tomorrow I'll be doing exactly what the mission was for today. I need to wash towels and and do the other laundry. Since that is something that doesn't make too much noise it will be a good thing to do in the morning while dh is sleeping since he is working 6pm - 6am.
