Sadly that was about 4-years ago at our house! Lots of paper, stamp pads and other crafting supplies...but no insurance because our deductible is so high...

Check out Anna's Linens and Things. They are on-line as well and are on sale through next week or so. Then you can have them delivered to your house.

I have had a set for years and only used them maybe 3 times before this year. This year I have found them oh so comfy and decided I wanted 2 sets of flannel and 2 sets of warm weather sheets to make my life easier. I know more is more but sometimes it makes it easier doing laundry.

Quick funny story. Years ago my dryer died and dh couldn't get around to helping to replace it. The kids and I were having to go to the laundrymat to dry clothes. That gets kinda expensive and I got tired of not being able to do them when I had the time whatever time of day/night it is. Sooo what I decided to do was let his underwear get down to only maybe 4 days worth. He decided it was important to get it replaced. Now we know how to get things done. LOL

We had 2 sets but krapoppa wore out the foot area on his side! He has rough heels...

I've never replaced the fitted sheet...haven't found them on-sale when I've had the cash...

I've never heard of Anna's Linens...but will...thanks...

I've gotten the lasagna's made (2 - for 4 size, 1 family size & 1 individual).
Hamburger cassarole is done (2 - for 4 size & 2 for 2 size).
Spaghetti and Marinara sauses are put away (3 spaghetti for dh & 4 marinara for me).
I have the dishes washed and ready for more cooking tomorrow
AND I have the load of new sheets in the dryer.

I think I'm ready for bed.

Remember to reset your clocks. I'm getting ready to take care of all those (2 Big-Ben type clocks, 3 alarm clocks, 2 wind up clocks, 1 battery operated, 3 kitchen appliances and watches) I'm hoping the cable boxes will set themselves along with the computers and cell phones. I do not change my car's because in less than an hour it will only be 10 minutes fast instead of the hour and 10 mins fast as it has been for the last few months.

Hope everyone, including the kiddos, rest well tonight and for those who have been sick feel so much better come the morning.

Morning! All the clocks except the one in my bedroom are right. It is a grey, wet, dreary day. My plan is to clean and craft. And maybe bake a little. But mostly clean and craft. In that order I'm afraid. Stuff just needs to be done. If I hustle I think I can make some real visual progress in a couple of hours. There just hasn't been much hustling this week.

Yes Melissa, we do have a lot of clocks and I'd really like to have a couple more for some of the other rooms. But if you'd like to talk about a lot of clocks I should tell you about my dad's house. He, in the last 10 years or so, has decided to "tinker" with clocks. He actually does a good job with taking them apart, cleaning them, fixing them and putting them back together. He also seems to have started collecting clocks. A full 1/4 of his basement is the clock room whcih includes clocks hanging from everywhere and multiple tall case, grandmother and grandfather clocks. We joke and say it sounds like Hook's clock tower. DH & I were wondering last night how long it would take him to change all those clocks. BTW He also gave us 3 pocket watches which were made 2-in the year I was born, with 1 in the month and 1 in the year & month dh was born.

You're so right. And he probably gets as much satisfaction in his "tinkering" as we do in our crafting. No sarcasim noted...

Good morning y'all!

Had a great weekend. Spent it at dsis as dh was gone. Got some returns made. Bought some workout clothes and undergarments at kohls using my $10.00 off intimates coupon and my 30% off everything coupon. got Zack monster some clothes also since he is now in 9 months clothes.

Went to my favorite garden nursery with dsis. Bought some herbs and greens. Got them planted yesterday.

Made a nice lunch for my folks and took it over. They enjoyed it and we did a little cleaning for them.

So a full weekend.

Today's Mini Mission:

We are in the bathroom + one this week. Flylady chose the laundry room, I'm going to continue working in my office.

Bathroom-- clean your toilet. ( if this is your home blessing day, then this is an easy task for you! )

Other room: spend 5 min doing a quick tidy.

I cleaned two toilets on Saturday. On Sunday, when the boy arrived back home...he notified me...HEY MOM! Did you know when you pee in the toilet and it has the blue cleaner in the toilet, it turns GREEN!

Yes, son. I know. Thank you for that info.

boys. hee hee

good to have the boy back home.

last night we split a coca cola...he finished up the bottle...and ...took that bottle PLUS the bottle he had tossed up on the top shelf eons ago...took both of them to the trash can. **thud**

His Daddy gave him an ovation. Not standing...but clapclapclap nevertheless when I mentioned it to DH this morning.

Morning! Risen, but it's more the Lazarus kind than the shiny kind. For whatever non-kid reason, I could not sleep last night! I think I finally passed out close to 5? And got up a little before 8. Maybe I dozed a little before that. I probably did. But it was light and not overly restful.

Happily, we have a park playdate with good friends today so I don't have to keep the kids entertained just with my not fully functioning wits.
