Kramomma, that stuff does help to dry it up, but its more preventative. I would try to get it so he can use it daily thru the summer. Ill keep my eyes open here if see any ill get him some. I wish the herb lady was still open, she was so convenient and inexpensive.

First up:
Wash the flowerpots (I need to paint them, so they need to be clean)
Clean off the table
Have a cup of tea

Kramomma, that just sounds horrible! Hope it goes away FAST!

Suzanne, I'm right there with ya, sister! I should probably do my bedroom, but I will most likely do the laundry room. It's just the easiest. Things get folded, go in the hamper, or they go in the trash. End of story.

Joyce, low key days with littles are best! Hope y'all have fun!

Patricia, RELAX and ENJOY IT!

Edith and Melissa, I hope you both have very productive days, but with some fun thrown in there, too!

So today I had gardening help. It was so cute, she walked around with her watering pail watering the weeds then she picked three (4 but one was green) strawberries and a radish and had to take them to show to Ashlyn.....while Ashlyn was in the bath tub. I heard Ash say, "very nice now go hang out with aunt Joyce"

We are now going to wash the radish, this should be an interest taste to watch...

I need today to be productive if I want to enjoy my weekend. I'm heading out to spend it with J&K... see their new place and enjoy hanging with them. Coffee with K's mom is also on the agenda - that always always always is a good time!

so.

I need to:
cancel amazon prime time DONE
make phone call DONE? (no answer)
get rough draft finished
check water flower beds - water if necessary
dinner plan
figure out what I need for the weekend

If I get this far, then:
2 cards

Day got hi-jacked... I just remembered that I needed to call about the grass seed... and they have it in so I'm off to get that....

Mollymoo...I'm working, just not getting paid financially...and I'm smiling while I work cause I'm baking really cute little muffins in cute little liners that I purchased for practically nothing on sale...

Also...think hairy arms, legs and chest...I don't think I could get him to put a bandaid on for any reason...not even if they were tractors, dump trucks or deer (now those would be cute muffin liners donchathink?)

Edith199...Kub has had the opportunity to do a few reenactment opportunities just on a different scale...in July he is going to be portraying Adoniram Judson at a mega-conference and Koleesa is almost finished with his 1810 outfit! He also did something with the Titanic in Branson last year complete with an outfit and he portrayed a young man from MN (can't remember the person's name...maybe something Pillsbury...think dough boy family icon!)

My kitchen is a MESS...the first pan of muffins got a little darker than I like...I forget that the new oven element burns a little hotter than the knob says...but the tiny muffins are ADORABLE in their cute liners!

Pink Snuggles is playing her harp in the background...guess it would be a good time to clean the mess...Red Bear is at the doctor...I can't start laundry until he comes back as the clothes he is wearing need washing...

kramomma, i didn't read all the posts, just this page, but if krapoppa is bad, he would find quick relief with a shot from the doctor. benadryl can help too. doesn't sound like a nice condition to be in.

Red Bear was given a steroid and a prescription to fill for a cream to use next time...I assume he will take that with him to Burma!

Kitchen mess is now clean...fruit is soaking...that's the next step of my helping Pink Snuggles in her preparation stage of kitchen duty!

Not dumb! It's a weekly thing for the sabbath. Since Jeff has diabetes and can't have tons of bread I make about 6 small loaves. I bake two and put the other 4 in the freezer so I don't make dough nearly as often as I used to. I am thinking about making a few loaves to give away, though. We have new next door neighbors and a family on our block recently had a baby and I haven't brought them anything yet.

is it quite time consuming to make? I'm thinking the braids might be finicky?

I just do the basic braid and I have never claimed to have the prettiest bread, but, no, it's not bad at all.

Dh had to,get a steroid shot when he got poison ivy. It was awful. He was flying and it was so,bad that he had to take down his pants. Good thing the cockpit door locks, and he was with another guy. He actually had to call in sick as soon as they landed and then make his way home.

Hey y'all!

Busy morning. Went with ddil and Zack for his recheckup from the ear infection. He's good now. Of course we knew that but they wanted him to,come back in. also, went to grocery store. It's very hard for me to let the kids pay for groceries, but they feel strongly about it.

Were having family over tomorrow to,celebrate fathers day. Smoking 2 pork butts. YUM!!! And doing a Carolina mustard sauce to go with it. Also,YUM! Ddil is making a special cole slaw. And we are going to make Paula Deens banana pudding. Not low cal!!! Very yummy!

I'm thinking it may be nap time.

I am tired, y'all! I don't know why exactly. It wasn't a great night of sleep by any means, but I've had way worse. And I had my 3 cups of java today! It's half caff, but it's strong half caff! Oh well. Maybe water will perk me up. And music? I could try that. It might partly be that I really want to stay home or get out but go to craft stores and not get out and go grocery shopping plus run around looking for who knows what for Father's Day like I need to. (And I love shopping for Jeff, when I know what to get!)

I use a bread machine recipe. I've heard Julia Child's recipe is amazing, but I go the easy way.
