Go you! I've made two cards so far, but I still have 5 challenges to go.

I managed two cards today. but... so far to go. I managed 6 in total?!?! sheesh. Well, that's just the way things are going I guess. I'm not sure I'm going manage all of them.

Starting a new season tomorrow. Working part-time at the church office. Yes, I accepted the request to help out my pastor/friend.

Never got the 5th card made today...but I really do like the tin I decorated! Simple but my style...and for a friend...now to decide what kind of candy or gift to put inside it...

Heading to bed...not sure of my day tomorrow...have a funeral about 40 minutes from me (no place near a craft store ) and it's mid-morning so will be gone for a while...then...home and have a late afternoon meeting...

Need to vacuum tomorrow...did not do it today...

4. breakfast

5. hang shelves - having to do tomorrow - hopefully, or at least get the shelving boards cut
6. finish moving yard sale things to central area
7. finish putting basic computer book together - decided to wait until next week for that when I am less rushed
8. work on clearing off the table in my craft room
9. go to college and get syllabus for computer class so I can do #7
10. get topics and book for other class I will be teaching Wed, Thurs, Tues, Wed of the next 2 weeks

11. get #10's class notes ready to go
12. print off several items for teaching
13. decide on dinner - early tonight as dh has to work nights so he has to leave by 5pm that changed - dinner for 1 who knows what it will be - I'm thinking French toast.
14. call chiropractor & make an appointment for next week sometime
15. take some things back to the auto parts store as dsil didn't use all I purchased
16. give car a bath inside and out
17. continue to work on yard sale things

I think that should just about do it. Now hopefully I'll be able to go to sleep now.

Well I've gotten a start on the day. Feeling a bit defeated for some reason but I'm going to push through it.
I did not get anything else done from my list tonight. However I did spend 4 hours reading the book I borrowed for the class and typing a slew of notes from it and choosing some pages I want to copy for hand outs. Now 15 pages of notes and 18 pages of handouts later I figure out that I left my stupid flash drive at the college today while I was there. I saved the info to another and called the office (at 11pm) and left a message that I'll be out there to pick it up.

Now I need to work on the class I need to teach tomorrow night so off I go to do that.

So my tomorrow list will start with
1. up
2. dressed

3. am meds
4. pm meds
5. breakfast
6. back to the college - pick up supplies and make copies
7. return the auto parts store things
8. lunch

9. dinner
10. be ready for class 6-10

11. type out notes for a part of Thursday's class I forgot to do last night

I think that will pretty much do it for me. I'm not sure I'll have time to do much more than that.

Sorry about the funeral tomorrow and the fact that there are no craft stores near.

Safe travels.

How does comp-time and unpaid vacation time lead to no time?

My day will include more than making cards...and uploading!

vacuum
peaches x 3 batches (may just freeze them for ease) Not ready
take down table
put away canning/freezing supplies
f/p dryer (I'm sure something is in there though I can't remember what!)
write inside sympathy card
write and address 4 cards
10 funeral
4 PM meeting
upload pictures
upload 7 items to gallery
print 6 challenges
make 7 challenges

Supper-whatever Pink Snuggles decides plus garden green beans

Well hopefully you can squeeze a few cards in your busy day, you are doing fantastic!

I was up at 4am! This chest pain stuff is getting old!

Dh wants 10 more minutes this morning so just sitting here reading until I get him up. Then I think ill do a load of laundry and my kitchen routine.

Even with DTGD I do my routine stuff, I guess things really do become habits.

As much as I can get accomplished in between my meeting & heading out the door. I think as long as I can accomplish 3 or 4 of the challenges, I can catch up Sun & Mon. And if I don't get them all accomplished, I've had a blast working on these cards!

Good morning everyone.

Kra & Misti - it sounds like you will both be VERY busy today between prepping peaches to freeze (kra) and meetings and practice (Misti). I hope you both have time to work on challenges as you'd like.

Joyce - thanks - my feelings would be seriously hurt if I didn't have to go out there for something else. It's only about 10 miles but still the time and gas arg! I know what happened though - as I was finishing up one of the firefighters I've known for 30+ years (and who is a serious talker) came in and I was trying to get out before I got stuck in a long conversation about nothing. That's what I get for trying to dodge someone. God smacks you on the hand. LOL

So far I'm up, dressed, fed. I'm getting ready to take am meds and look through my paperwork for a few more things I thought about this morning as I was trying not to get up, then out the door to the college.

Back later on to work on tonight's class. Hope y'all have a nice day.

I just perused the challenges, pretty easy peasy today. One of the CAS cards looks very close to one I made not long ago. Should be über easy day!

Updated list...took socks out of dryer but did not fold...Pink Snuggles folds the socks and well...today...I'm going to let her!

Also took chicken broth out of crockpot to start cooling

Read another chapter

read on SCS threads (I'll never keep up but I am "meeting" some new people)

Now will print challenges and begin contemplating how to make the last card from yesterday. I can do anything with purple...

Today is much more me. Except Lydia's! My problem is I'm such a slow crafter. All my cards have been simple cards, but they've all taken me forever because I'll try something and not like it, try something else, not like it, try something else, not like it, eventually settle. Usually. A few cards more or less work on the first or second try.

Morning y'all! Drinking my coffee and trying to figure out what else I need to do today. I'm hoping to stay home, but I might get the boys haircuts. I'll have to call and see.

There's dishes, food, reading to the kids, paying bills, and some cleaning for sure. I'd like to bake, stamp, and blog as well. We'll see.

I have a couple of cards I would like to redo (the snowman sketch one, how can a cute image look so not good!?) but I will redo if time allows. I'm so happy to just be keeping up.

Heading out with Mom a bit today, so won't get to work until this afternoon.

While summer cleaning one of the bedrooms found mildew bet sun the window panes, they are under warranty so called to have it replaced. It's in so have to pick that up and put it in.

I don't have a DTGD gallery option, so I'm waiting to hear back from Lydia. I have photographed a few, but nothing uploaded.

And as for Day #2...I'm glad you are enjoying the days...

I don't think I've accomplished much on my list because everything is taking me longer than I thought it should...

Shower...no problem...then realize...uhm...wash hair...uhm then realize...need to shave (TMI?)...not a problem...knowing what I'm wearing...don't have much selection and purple would be first choice...was Joyce's favorite color also!

Cut/paste/print isn't going very well...only at 2 so far

Only 10 peaches out of 40 are ready...

Need to carefully put chicken broth in bowl...best put on an apron or I'll for sure have a SHE story in my life!!!!

I spent 2 hours at the college making copies for the classes on Wed, Thurs, Tues & Thurs. To get home and realize I didn't do notes for 1 part which will be on Thurs so after lunch I'll be working on them and will print them out. I ONLY need 36 copies. Fortunately, I think I made copies of everything else so it will be just those copies.

Now out to lunch at Subway with my dd2 & dh then auto parts store to return items.

OK, back from Dr's with my Mom, then lunch, picked up window, groceries, K Mart in next town looking for a firetruck for a Birthday gift for my nephew. A ton packed into a day that was supposed to be reserved for stamping.

Now to get to it!

text, skype, Gtalk, ooVoo anyone? I'm available...

My craft room is a mess and it's killing my mojo. I thought I was doing good picking up as I go, but at last its just not the norm this week.

Back home - got the notes typed and a lifesaver at the college has let me email them to her for copying. She will bring them to me tonight at class. I love some of the folks I work with out there.
