OK. came to post some fluff.

HRH Prince George of Cambridge! (Full name is George Alexander Louis)

Love it! I was hoping for Phillip and Spencer...tossed in George. Having learned the history behind the names. Love it. Wonder what they are gonna call him @ home...Alex? Lou? I hope it's not George. Bark George! MOOO! No George. Cows go MOOO! Dogs go arf! Now BARK George.

And yeah...had a dog named George, too.

Alex. Lou. Something like that.

What's in the name George? A lot of politics, history and tradition - TODAY.com

It’s George Alexander Louis, HRH Prince George of Cambridge & Séraphine Maternity Dress for Trip to Bucklebury » What Kate Wore

Quick notes on the significance of the names:
•King George VI (1936-1952) was the most recent monarch with the name, it is also the name of England’s patron saint
•Alexandra is one of the Queen’s middle names
•Louis is after Lord Louis Mountbatten, Prince Philip’s uncle, someone Prince Charles was very, very fond of & it is also William’s fourth name (William Arthur Philip Louis)

I love the name! And, yeah, I hope he's called Alex...that's nice!

I love that Kate wore dress so similar to Princess Diana's when she introduced William to the world! I wonder if that was a coincidence?

There is a picture at my mom's that I will scan and show you. I had a pic taken of me and Jarod when he was 10 days old. Mom also had a pic of me and her when I was 10 days old. After my film was developed and I showed her the pic she could not believe it! She went and got the pic of me and her and they were pretty much the same! We wore similar shirts, both looking at our babies, hair parted the same, and the babies even had on similar outfits! Me in a blue dress and a white wool sweater, Jarod in a blue outfit with a white wool sweater!

That's what I keep thinking too. Especially not something that happens in small town Newfoundland. Our top stories on the news are usually about pot holes in the road! Not violence like that.

So now since I've gotten all caught up -

Good morning everyone. I hope you rested well last night. I finally made it to sleep about midnight but not awake until 8:30 - woo hoo for me and 8+ hours.

So what's on the agenda for today

up - check
dressed - later
breakfast - in a few minutes
am meds - oops I need to put the week's meds in the containers
drink plenty of water

1.Continue to go through the house looking or yard sale worthy items - ongoing project till the 2nd
2.make price tags for the items - ongoing too

3.lunch with my dad, step, dh, dd1 & girls, & dd2
4.after lunch all except dad & step will be coming back to my house for naps for girls & dd's will be helping me in my craft room. - they had other ideas so it didn't get done
5.help dd2 get things in the attic (she pulled her back or something yesterday)
6.finish the last 30 or so pages of my book7.make a grocery list (ds & gf will be coming in on Sun or Mon and they are both great white sharks when it comes to eating - kinda aggravates me though neither are big at all)
8.sweep floors - done
9.get garbage up, out and down to street - this is the day for that - done
10.clean out frig & big freezer - lots in both that need to be gone - done

Well I think that's a good beginning to the list

Hope everyone has a good day getting all they want to accomplished

My laptop is on the frits so working on the Kindle dh got since he's on the desktop.

Morning, morning...that's what D will say when she sees me this morning! That's her line...

What a day yesterday...I helped D make 8 cards...she caught on quickly making choices...and when she chose 2 colors that clashed in my mind I found a piece of ribbon that pulled the 2 together and the card looked GREAT!

I made 6 cards...

Obvious that making purple cards are easy for me...made 4 of those quickly...struggled using black and cranberry tart but did get 2 made...

Today...I really want to do the monthly Fan Club member challenges...

Off to start the day off of the computer!

Today's Mini Mission:

Today, let's look at our shoes. Do you need to put any away? Polish any? Clean any? Any that have seen better days & need to be tossed?

Morning! Jeff and I slept terribly, but it's a bright, shiny new day all the same. I don't think we have any errands today so maybe I will get some things done around here.

DH is asleep, STILL, in there so I can't tackle this right away but I know I have a few pair of shoes to put away and 1 to sew the ornamental button on. It has not fallen off but it is loose and I don't want to lose it - would kind of take away from the cuteness of the shoes.

This is actually a good mission, not that you need my stamp of approval.

And I really thought you were gonna send us shoe shopping.

Got the shoe issues taken care of.
Gone through some empty boxes I had stacking up for sorting and have them ready to crush
Peaked in a room on the end of our house to see what might could go to the yard sale - several things there
Talked with dh about some other things to go to the yard sale as well - He OKed them yippie
Garbage can up from the street
Headache meds on board - again today
Hanging clothes put away (that doesn't happen very often - I usually just use the laundry room for my closet ***eyes roll***)
Measured the small bathroom for new floor covering as I'm going to have to gut it again and re-do the entire room because of an old leak in the toilet

Now to
Go to Goodwill for a set of keys (I don't want them at all but I have to have them)
Verison for phone issues
Lowes to return some things and purchase some new ones (toilet seat, black spray paint, check prices for things needed for bathroom)
Hobby Lobby for more heavy plastic for another project
Dinner

Then home to
Break down boxes
Hang plastic
Paint brackets for dh's study
Soaky bath
Bed

I think that will probably be about it for the day

Glad dfil is fine

I'm not sure how much of this year's catalog I really like either but maybe the mini's will be something better.

Hormones! GRRR! My mom told me the other day that I could be pre-menopausal. She was in her mid to late 30's when she started. Oh boy!

I'll be ok...after a good night's rest...and then a night out tomorrow night. That will help the mood...I hope!

That's crazy Tricia! I hope the night out helps. I would tell you what helps my moods, but its frowned upon to speak of in public.

I polish my husbands shoes when its a special event just because he doesn't.

I got Nicks clothes all ready for our trip and I got most of Jarods ready. He was supposed to help me...he came into his room when I was getting the last item out of his closet.

I'll get mine ready in the morning when the last of the laundry is done. So much for having it all done this morning...

Soaky bath
Bed

I think that will probably be about it for the day
So this is where I am so far
