I had to have a name for mine as well. I got my info from "The Talk" and Mrs. Osborne. Being English I figure she knows what she's talking about and the fact that she was most probably around when some of the last children were born.

And the 2nd name would be George Edward Middleton.

Again as long as Middleton is in there my family is waaayyyy good. LOL

My room was dusted (and when I dust I always hit my ceiling fans) and the only pile I had in my room was of shoes so they were put away like they were supposed to be.

So mini's were done.

No ceiling fan! Woot woot!

I got sucked into the online CHA news this morning. Haven't moved yet!

It's crazy how google maps takes photos like that. But how fun!

So now since I've gotten all caught up -

Good morning everyone. I hope you rested well last night. I finally made it to sleep about midnight but not awake until 8:30 - woo hoo for me and 8+ hours.

So what's on the agenda for today

up - check
dressed - later
breakfast - in a few minutes
am meds - oops I need to put the week's meds in the containers
drink plenty of water

1.Continue to go through the house looking or yard sale worthy items
2.make price tags for the items
3.lunch with my dad, step, dh, dd1 & girls, & dd24.after lunch all except dad & step will be coming back to my house for naps for girls & dd's will be helping me in my craft room.
5.help dd2 get things in the attic (she pulled her back or something yesterday)
6.finish the last 30 or so pages of my book7.make a grocery list (ds & gf will be coming in on Sun or Mon and they are both great white sharks when it comes to eating - kinda aggravates me though neither are big at all)
8.sweep floors
9.get garbage up, out and down to street - this is the day for that
10.clean out frig & big freezer - lots in both that need to be gone

Well I think that's a good beginning to the list

Hope everyone has a good day getting all they want to accomplished

The young prince is so cute!!

And, how cool to have your picture on Google maps!!!

Good morning!

It's an overcast day here in the Valley...looks like we may be getting some rain.

So far today:
Dressed
Hair done
One load of laundry folded, put away
Another load of laundry put in the washer

Operation "get ready for vacation" continues today. I need to find my GPS...it's with my geocache stuff...so, I guess I need to find my geocache stuff. We will be caching at our rest stops. I found a few beaches and stuff along the way for the kids to stretch their legs and look for a cache. We can pack a lunch and eat it at the beach (it's fresh water beaches, so sand in our sandwiches shouldn't be a problem!).

I want to keep the washer and dryer going today...we have a mountain of dirty clothes that I would like clean. We need some of the items for our trip...and I don't want to come back from vacation to a mountain of dirty laundry, and then add another mountain to it from our trip dirty clothes.

Also on the list is to make lists. I need a clothing list for each kid and myself (Brent can do his own) and a list of other things that we need to take. I would like to get the bulk of it done this evening or tomorrow morning. I don't want to be in a big rush on Friday to get everything ready, get the car packed up, go to my friends anniversary supper, take the kids to Port aux Basques, come back and go to my friends anniversary dance. If I can eliminate the first two things my day will be much better!

My heart breaks for a friend of mine. She is a single mom, she went out last Thursday and had only a couple of drinks. She left the bar to go home. A few hours later someone found her on the sidewalk unconscious and beat up. Her nose is broken, her face was beat up, bruises everywhere....and, the worst, she was sexually assaulted. She can't remember leaving the bar and she didn't wake up in the hospital for hours after she was brought in. Now, more girls have stepped forward saying that similar things have happened to them. This is in Port aux Basques, a little town of less than 5000 people.

There are some awful people in this world.

It just breaks my heart. She is such a sweet person...very soft spoken, would help anyone in need. And now her and her boy (11, Jarod's age) will have to go through this. It's so sad.

Patricia, I don't have words. I'm so sorry. That is beyond awful. I hope with other women coming forward maybe the area can be on alert and catch the coward responsible. Prayers for everyone hurt by this.

Lee, I'm so sorry. I know how rough some days can be. I don't even remember most of last summer. Hope you feel better.

Oh Tricia, that is just awful. Hopefully the bar has cameras and they can determine if anyone was looking suspicious. Sounds like a cereal predator, I hope others don't venture out alone. Please be safe. Things like this scare me to death knowing my dad is at a hotel alone and doesn't get done working some days until after 9.

I'm now sitting at my work space looking over what to do next.

The whole province is on alert...this is something that doesn't happen here often...and not to the extent that it happened to my friend. I just hope he/they are caught and the rest of the people in the town can feel a little safer. I say "people" and not "women" because there are men that have come forward and said they think they were drugged at sometime as well. Only have a couple of beers and not be able to walk...or can't remember a large section of time.

I hope they have camera's too.

I feel the same for my dad. He works in Corner Brook with construction and lives in a hotel in there during the work days. The other night he went out side for a cigarette and saw a young guy smashing another young guys head into the sidewalk. Dad (being a big man and, well, not a stranger to those things, especially in his younger years) went over and grabbed the guy by the back of the neck and the arse of the pants and threw him off the other guy...then the cops showed up and dad asked if he could give the guy a good calling off. The cop told him to go right ahead. Dad said the young guy stood there, looking at the ground, while dad told him (probably with some colorful words!) that he could have killed the guy and that he better never, ever doing anything like that again!

Omg. How horrible. like someone else said, it sounds like a serial predator. It also makes me think that she may have been slipped something in her drink. I sure hope the find this person soon

Cast on a coin purse, knitted a few rows
Shower, dress
Run dishwasher
Wash clothes, hang to dry
Visit with the neighbors
Iron fabric
Take kids to library for summer reading check in
Target for milk - y'all, I was so good, paid with a gift card and didn't look at anything extra!
Pick up in dining area
Chatted with my sister

Next:
Mash grapes
Start bread dough
Unload, reload dishwasher
