I really want to start doing more of the organization, blog hopping kinds of things too.

My biggest downfall for not sending out cards is the addresses handy and not having/taking the time to write them out as well.

hmmm....

Michael's = no fabric in any stores around here

but I wonder if there's a FabricLand close? there really don't seem to be many fabric stores that I'm aware of other than FabricLand... other than quilting stores whose prices are atrocious

I don't know where in St John's you'll be but I did a quick search and found this:

fabric stores

That video is the best! I totally hear that, thankfully I have gotten so much better then in the early years. NOw I stop and ask myself do I really need that. Or I go shopping at my girlfriends, she has way more then I do. Her husband was saying take more when I was borrowing stamps today. I tend not to buy critter stamps so I borrowed a few. A cute cow and reindeer. Now I just have to use them!

Mr Clean visits often. I like my stuff, but I like it to have a place and to feel good about it. I can't even scrap if I feel like there is house work to be done. I have it down to kitchen routine, swish and swipe, then leisure activity which is either scrapping, reading, or baking daily.

That warning may be the cause of the allergy issues. Don't ya just hate it when you find out after the fact.

Patricia, my friend in Canada orders from Fabric - Discount Fabric - Apparel Fabric - Home Decor Fabric - Quilting Fabric - Save up to 70% - Fabric.com and from Hawthorne Threads - Amy Butler, Joel Dewberry, Michael Miller & More Now, she does a lot of sewing so maybe she just doesn't mind the shipping or maybe she orders enough she gets a discount, but I thought I'd mention it in case that's not where you've looked before.

Misti, I would be lost without my washing machine. Is it fixable, or are you shopping for a new one?

Scrapping today was fun. My friend has a sillhouette so I was able to cut some of the images for Flourishes stamps I have. I can't wait to play with them. It will be so nice not to have to fussy cut them.

Tricia, I can't believe those fires are still going. Is it at all under control? Are homes still in danger?

My dh is giving me a pedicure. Love him!
Joyce, I think I need for you to come to my house when you finish with yours. The best I do with our walls is dust mop them every now and again.

Scrapping with your friend sounds like it was so much fun. I'm sure you'll have all grades of fun with the silhouette images.

I'm working to get mine down to the a place for everything but people keep bringing cra.. (ops I mean stuff) to my house or moving back home for a few months and that puts my things in different places. ARG! One day I'll have it to that point and be able to take care of it all by myself.

No you wouldn't HAVE to clean but I'd bet you'd feel the need to. LOL With you in PA and me in NC maybe we could meet somewhere along the way sometime. I have a timeshare that I could see what I might could get for a few days and we could craft and chat and relax.

WOW, I think I've finally caught up with everyone. There were 5 pages, I think, I needed to catch up on. And I only missed 2 days, maybe.

Now off to make my list for tomorrow and see what I might can get done. DH will be sleeping until 1ish, dd2 will be out of the house from 10ish for about 3 or 4 hours. Maybe I can get some filing done. I have 3 or so boxes of papers that need to be sorted a bit more and go into file folders. That would be a quite thing to do AND productive. Huuummm I think I have a plan for the morning. WOO HOO

Hope ya'll have a good night. See ya tomorrow on the threads.

Thanks for the link! I think I'll wait to see what I can find in St. John's first...it will cost me a lot to get it shipped...it's $20 for shipping for a little over 2 yards up to 10 yards. And I will probably only order 3-4 yards...so I could get more for that extra $20. (I hate spending money on shipping because I'm such a cheapo!. ) I'm putting these into my favorites, though, because it's the cheapest prices I've seen...along with the shipping! One place I found before wanted $40 for shipping for a $7 yard of fabric...INSANE!

Yeah, she probably orders over 10 yards. You could try Canadian etsy shops, too, if you don't find what you want in St. John's. I hope you do, though! It's more fun to buy fabric you can touch first!

Oh no Kramomma, I hate those nights! Hope you have a peaceful day. Are you not feeling well, or will your mind just not shut down?

Good morning all!

Today
Kitchen routine
Garden routine
Load a day
Dining room walls
Write post for VSN

I was a bit of the green monster last night, and its a silly thing to be jealous of others energy. And I'm so thankful to be as well as I am, but darn it would be nice to be able to do a 6am to midnight without batting an eye. 3 hours seems to be my exertion limit, or i'm recouping for days. Even my 69 year old Mother ( whose birthday is today) is more functional then I am

Ashjoy...I think it is just one of those mornings when the body is wide awake...nothing on my mind...

I've surfed through the Fan Club information...not sure what to do with the information gleaned but I read through...

Am waiting to see if this fridge/freezer is going to get cold enough to restock! Ice cubes are not being made very quickly...and it still sounds like someone is sleeping (a light snoring/breathing noise)...driving me crazy...

DID you know you are suppose to vacuum UNDER your fridge/freezer every month? I've always vacuumed behind...didn't know to do underneath!

Good morning Joyce and Kramamma

Kra I hate it when my body won't stay asleep. I hope you get a chance to rest during the day. I'm like you I did know about behind the frig but not underneath. maybe you can do that part when you pull it out for the behind part.

Joyce, seems to me you got a load of stuff/cleaning done yesterday...kinda made me a little green monster myself. I will say that I don't have the stamina I used to have either. Just a few years ago I could get up at 6am today, go to work my 24 hour shift, be up running calls the vast majority of the time, come home, do what needed to be done and normal or anything until I went to bed at 10:30 or so that that night. If I don't get at least 6 hours (8 is preferable) for a couple of nights, I'm going to be sick and down for a couple of days. Funny how our bodies change as we get older.

Love him!
You're amazing!

So for today I'm going
to put my small file cabinet on its wheels
Roll it to the dinning room.
Pull the 3 or so boxes of papers that need filing there too
spend some time sorting & filing (some of it is teaching stuff & some is SU stuff that goes in another cabinet)

My goal is to get at least 1/3 sorted & filed before dh gets up

with it out like that instead of in the back room I'm more apt to work on it

I also will
Get dressed
Take am meds
Take pm meds
Eat breakfast

Good morning!

Kramomma, I should have come in here and chatted with you when you were up...I was awake from 4 to 7...then I had a nap. For me, there was a thunderstorm coming...and I felt it before the dog. I got all edgy and felt weird. I felt like this until the storm moved off...and then I had a nap.

So, all 4 of us were up at 5 (just me at 4)...and all four of us went back to sleep afterward. I'm still tired, but I will be ok. It didn't help that I didn't get to sleep until 2:30 to start with!

I should warn you that he also comes up with projects that will require your time also.

The repair guy came, but I've got to call him back today. He fixed the noise, but now it doesn't spin the clothes, so they are sopping wet.

I'm ahead of the game...I need razor blades and shampoo and tissues. I'll add them to the list with laundry detergent and dish liquid. Funny how much difference 1 person can make.

Ok, so unless you are superwoman above and beyond the normal superwoman we have here, how go you vacuum under the fridge? My dh moves it out every few months, but the bottom, honestly have never done more then what I can reach with the thin attachment.

Misti, oh no. Sounds like a belt. I hope its an inexpensive fix.

Thanks ladies, love you gals.
