January's Daily Fluttering & Chatting
It's time to start a new calendar!!! A lot of people set resolutions or goals for the New Year. If you feel like sharing yours, we'd love to hear what you are going to work on in 2013.
Next week my boys start their "advanced" training schedule, so Mama has to get more disciplined to make sure things run more smoothly. Planning ahead, quick meals, meal ideas for us to eat on the road, taking things with us for me to do during practice, waiting for competitions to start, etc. My goals revolve around getting disciplined in those areas.

First up of course is to be more mindful of my eating. DH and I could still both benefit from losing twenty more pounds. Neither one of us got off all that we put back on when we went carb crazy in Italy. Five pounds gone in January is my goal. This is more of a challenge than it seems because of inablility to exercise at this time. Another reason why the pounds crept back on.
Happy New Forum everyone. Thanks to the mods for making the transition smooth for us.

By the way, Jarod is feeling a lot better today! No fever, no headache and, most importantly, no tears!!! He was on Children's Tylenol all day yesterday...today he has had none! He said that he gets a little woozy when he gets up so he is still resting. School starts back up tomorrow so I hope he is totally on the mend then!
Yes, thank you all so much for providing us a place to meet. And, thank you to all the fly babies for being willing to make the move cause I need y'all!
