Did I mention that I lost 6 pounds in the last 2 weeks. I could easily give in to junk this week if it weren't for my kiddos coming. They are doing great and they will keep me motivated when I need it most. I'd like/need!!! To lose 25 more. Anyone want to joins me on a getting health thread?
Good for you!!!! I am losing again and have joined a weight loss group at the college. I would LOVE to be apart of a getting healthy thread but, unfortunately, I don't have a lot of time these days so I would only be able to contribute to a couple of posts in the evening.
Well I'm home, obviously, from the college. What a day. I got 28 packets put together and ready to go out today. They included 2 letters (both personalized), a copy of the standards and guideline with their responsibilities highlighted and a return envie. I also still had to get some addys as well. Each envie had to be addressed, etc. I also got some other things taken care of to prepare for next week's list of more packets being mailed out. AND we had lunch with my dad - it is nice to work part-time, you can make your own schedule.
The office was better as far as my allergies but my head is hurting because it needs some sleep.
I somehow don't think much else is going to get done tonight. I'm even thinking that dinner will be something someone else fixes tonight.
I hope all have a wonderful night and see ya tomorrow - you know the real FRIDAY!!!
maybe. but by the time TWC hears around it...it's too late. they can tell you where it's been & where it's heading...but most generally not where it IS. KWIM?
There has been a couple of tornadoes in Newfoundland in the past (thank you google!) which really surprises me! All of them happened in Central Newfoundland and all of them happened in the warm summer months. They were all F0 and F1's...which are very little and cause little to no damage. I don't think I have anything to worry about with all the hills and mountains around me. Its still a scary thought though! Honestly...the wind out there tonight can do some pretty bad damage on its own!
DH got home earlier than he thought, he was on GA time. so we have chatted a bit, i have my shower and jammies on. i'm going to bed early. didn't get at that card, i went and made up the guest bed, company coming monday. i cleaned the guest bathroom, took a sauna, a shower and jammies and that's it. i am like a rag doll. ortho guy tomorrow wonder what he will have to say about this knee.
Well life kept me up. Pecan waffles with strawberries & whipped cream and bacon for dinner - thank you dh for taking me out so I didn't have to cook.
I had to stay up until after 9:30 so I could call that lady about the beach thing and I also had to place a very large SU order (I had to pay for most of it ARG)
Talked with dd1 ref the order and got off just in time to call the lady. BTW DGD2 ran into the door again tonight and bumped her head. I guess those bruises are still going to be there for a while. LOL She cried but seemed to be fine and, of course, I was on the phone with dd1 when it happened so there was a lot of screaming in the background.
I called the lady and she's going to talk with her dh & call us back tomorrow am. Then I started working on that stupid SU order. I had loads of problems with it tonight for some reason. What would normally take 20 mins or less took over an hour. But it is finally placed and I'm headed to the kitchen for drugs for the head and then to bed.
Tomorrow is chiropractor at 10:15 so I'm hoping to sleep in until 8:30 or 9 anyway.
