I'm fighting a bad headache this morning but I'm trying to flying. I've been having daily headaches the last few weeks. I think our crazy weather has been wreaking havoc with my sinuses and allergies.
Our morning routines have been done. DD1 unloaded the dishwasher and I reloaded it with the breakfast dishes. 2 loads of laundry are in progress. DD1 is doing her school work. I think I'll tackle a TDD.
Have a great day y'all!
TDD:
1. Wash baby bottles
2. F/P towels
3. Make menu plan and grocery store list
S sorry Christi, you amaze me what you get done even when you are not feeling well,
Oh my goodness, they have an olive garden ad
on this page right now...I am SOOOOO hungry!
Janeen, I hope "after" therapy time goes ok today.
Christi, I hope your head feels better...
Cher, Hope the visit with FIL goes well, and have fun with Zack!!
Donna, I sure hope you fell better. I don't like scents either. Sometimes my house doesn't smell the best but I can't handle the "scent" things.
Melissa, I just reread one of your posts. OMW...that's a HUGE drop in temp!!! I was kind of expecting them to tell us we were going to have something similar but the temp is only supposed to go as low as 66 but it's still 70....weird. Our Jan/Feb are usually fairly cold...(for us in the south) very weird to have 70's but I am not complaining.
I ACTUALLY got too warm yesterday in my winter pants and long sleeve shirt!
We have some things we need to accomplish before we can head out. Today is contract signing day for my boys. And they are wanting to shoot their league round at the indoor range since it's so windy (and COLD) outside.
It's time for me to eat....not something yummy like olive garden but eat I must! oooh...just saw lightning....sky doesn't look that bad though....
Angie, I'm praying y'all stay safe today and that the storms aren't too bad. Thinking of all the flybabies in the path of storms and praying everyone is safe. We had bad storms roll through last night with tornado watches and a flash flood warning. Thankfully we only ended up getting lots of rain and wind. The worst of the storms went north and south of us and there were some tornadoes.
Aunt Cindy was burning Scentsy & left it burning overnight. Boss lady asked me about it...she said, don't those things give you migraines? She (Aunt Cindy) should not be burning those things, she'll give you a headache. oops.
I do scent free...or odor neutralizer. Even the odor neutralizer has a "scent".
just saw a FB post to our neighbor: K. you don't have to take baby Jack out in this weather do you?? She works part-time about thirty five miles from here.
I called her and told her if she can't find somebody to work for her and she didn't want to take Jack out on these roads I would be very happy to watch him for her. He is two months old. We haven't met him yet. I would LOVE to have a baby in the house. The roads are really bad and not safe for that little one in case something would happen.

How fun to have a little one in the house! I hope she takes you up on your offer!
I did my assignment and I think it went pretty well! There was only 2 or 3 things that I didn't know...and it was a "pick one of two" option so I got a 50/50 chance! LOL! I also saw two grammar mistakes in the test...and we get a point for each mistake we see...so those points will help!
OMW I just jumped out of my skin. the winds are high, my lights are blinking....so you know...I am AWARE ... I am working on a card and all of a sudden my TWC app just gave me a thunderous boom! My app has turned to red again. The boom scared the living daylights out of me!

Yay!!!! We will keep our fingers crossed that you made the right choice!

You are so sweet! Let us know if you get to have a sweet baby in your house today! Hope the bath did the trick!
im in the house but I wouldn't call it safe. No basement....the only INNER room is the tiny pantry under the stairs....so if there was an emergency i would have to pull out a bunch of stuff to get in there.
I get a little nervous when there's bad weather...not BAD nervous but there just isn't any place to go!
turned on the news....doesn't seem like there's much actual rotation out there anymore...so...I am thinking ...we are just getting high winds. LOTS Of LARGE trees down in metro area....don't know about here yet.

she was going to, when she called in to work they told her most of her appts had cancelled b/c of weather and she could stay home. she was so happy to have more time with the baby, herself. i can't wait til she does bring him over for me. I told her to keep me in mind if her sitter got sick or even if he was sick ever and she still had to go to work. It will be so fun to see a baby outdoors here.

yes, be careful of falling trees. I was in here in my massage chair and just sitting here cruzin' SCS and something cracked right here on my desk. it sounded like something heavy plastic broke in half but I don't see anything and my computer stayed on, it sounded like it was right next to me on the desk IDK!!
in all the excitement I have lost the large flower I was working on....maybe i should stop and eat that lunch I was going to 2 hours ago!
yes, go eat some lunch! I opened a can of chicken vegetable soup, added some left over noodles that i had in the fridge, a cherry tomato, some carrot sticks, opened a can of chicken and added some of that. it was quite hearty by the time I got done with it and it was yummy. i ate the whole thing.
Today I am struggling with people who don't feel the need to use their brain cells...and expect me to pull a rabbit out of hat, or more to the point a water pump! wait let me just check, I know I have one here under my desk you can have.....don't promise your customer's things you can not possibly deliver, and then try and blame me! **removes herself from soap box**
Tonight I have my SIL and her two puppies coming over for fun and mayhem and another friend. The puppies are nuts, kisses, snuggles, licks, fights, barking, and then it's naptime...so cute both are boston terriers and I love them to bits. DH and I are like their second Mum and & Dad so they are equally as comfortable around us as SIL and BIL.
I have laundry, and general tidy up to do before they get there, then its make dinner, play time, and then once they leave I will head back down to the craft room.
Hope everyone is staying safe in this wierd and wonderful weather, we have high temps today, with rain, but expect a flash freeze tonight...so a fun drive in the morning.
