i used to do that kind of thing but as i got older i realized it really doesn't matter, the bake the same, sometimes better when they are not so shiny. I found more fun things i wanted to do than make sure my pans and cookie sheets were shiny. just sayin' --there was definitely a feeling of freedom in that decision i made.
I looked up the "how to" and didn't have any of the ingredients so lost the enthusiasm for that project!
Went to change Miss K's bed and discovered that she had colored a circle about the size of a half dollar in orange marker on the fitted sheet (which bled thru to the mattress encasing. Thank goodness it's waterproof and didn't go thru to mattress! I now have ALL of her markers (haven't decided how long) and she had to get the stains out. Waiting to see if it worked.

Quilt show is over. It was nice I am glad it is done though. Just not into it this go around. My mind is elsewhere. Divorce papers came in the mail today. I keep telling myself they were not unexpected, but somehow it's just not helping my state of mind (which is pretty lousy at the moment).
Tomorrow WILL be a better day! If for no other reason then my best freind will be back in town. Right now I need her.....

Morning....its an early one for me, but I guess that's what happens when you go to bed very early....I declare I am ready to take on the day!
It is Sunday, but since I went to church yesterday and I have a scheduled play day tomorrow, I guess I need to get some things done today.
SUNDAY'S LIST TO DO:

Put away bread machine
Cut out Disney character pillowcases
Sew Disney Character pillow cases
Laundry
Lunch (leftovers from Friday dinner out)
Reread and try to understand settlement papers (mind goes to fog when I try, but need to!)

Morning!! Today is Archer's birthday party! I read The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown yesterday. So good! She says often we fall asleep thinking about all the things we didn't get done and wake up thinking we didn't get enough sleep and we start the day feeling behind. So. I'm not behind, I'm grateful for coffee, and I went back to bed for a little while. Archer had me up from 3-4 and Ezra was up before 7.

I got a load of clothes in the washer, the dishwasher unloaded, loaded, and going, 15 minutes spent cleaning the craft room, the table cleaned, and the xbox area almost cleaned. The floor under and around my craft desk is nice and clean now!!!
Next:
Finish the xbox area
Clean the small counter
Clean the stovetop

Sounds like a good book. I'll have to check it out. Sounds like it something that I need to read right now as well.

It was very good. I read it all yesterday. I have her new book Daring Greatly waitlisted at the library.
Something else from the book. Creativity is one of the things we need to practice to live a wholehearted life. She says that if creating is something we view as a luxury or something we do in our spare time it will never be cultivated.

Feeling about it? Or just plain I think once it's done it will feel more resolved but it must be hard to see it in black and white. Hugs to you dear friend.
