Misti, I made those oatmeal cookies you linked! I used a xylitol brown sugar replacement and just one tablespoon of molasses, but he likes them. I don't think they're as chewy as the original but he's happy.

I'm about the same except I just bought 2 new ones. I have gotten one of them into circulation. Need to get the tags off the other one. Don't love any of them. 4 years ago I found a bra that I really loved! Why oh why didn't I buy a bunch of them??? I've never been able to find it again. I guess I need to make a trip to nordstroms or Victoria secret. I hate bra shopping!!!

You are so good! I bet it's hard finding things that he can eat and are tasty. I try and make things for a girlfriend that are gluten free, dairy free, soy free and egg free. Talk about Challenge! And I thought they were awful but to her they were great cause she just never gets to eat cupcakes... Because she doesn't have the time or where with all to make things for herself. And it's almost impossible to find baked goods that meet these restriction.

Oy. Yeah...we're going to visit friends tomorrow. My friend is allergic to chocolate and almonds. Her oldest is allergic to peanuts, eggs, dairy, gluten, and apples. I can't think of anything I can make to bring without buying a bunch of special - and expensive - ingredients.

Morning fellow frequent Flyiers!

Firstly, I hope the I phone turns up....

I have been in a bit of funk last day or two, need to get my rather large rear end moving ladies!

It happens when DH first goes away...I miss him so I wallow, but today is 'put on your big panties and deal with it day' so I feel a bit more motivated.

What did not motivate me this morning, as waking up to my phone telling me it was -19c which I think is -2 F..........burrr

I did the fastest taking the garbage to the curb last night on record...it was -27c (-17 F?)

To do list today
Laundry
Dishwasher
Lounge 5 min blitz
Kitchen 5 mni blitz
craft room

Hope everyone has a great day

Good morning ladies,

I've spent the last 1/2 hour reading the posts I've already missed. You guys have been busy. I have to admit I sat down in my recliner to read part of a lesson last night after my post (around 7:30 or and woke up at 1:30 this morning. I just put the book away and went to bed so NOTHING got done last night. I did not even wake up until after 9:30 this morning. I'm thinking I was tired.

Melissa - I hope that phone turns up today. What a shame people don't teach their children right and wrong these days. Maybe whoever found it planned to turn it in this am. Dreams are free - right? {{{HUGS}}}

Our mini-challenge - I just bought 4 new bras from Layne Bryant (their bras are made for larger women by Victoria's Secret). Let me just say what an ordeal it has been. They were buy 2 get 2 free so that's why the 4. I have had to go back and exchange for a smaller size but could only take back 2 because I had already worn 2 before I figured out the problem. And guess what - those 2 new ones don't fit well either. I think the problem is there is a bump or hump or something that is made into the cup at the lower part but not all the way at the bottom which seems to divide my "breast tissue" as the article stated. So when I lift my arm I feel like I'm coming out from underneath. Someone else told me that it was because the band was not small enough but if it gets any smaller I won't be able to breath. So I have 4 brand-spanking-new ones; 3 I bought of a different style last year (no, I don't like them either) and 6-8 that have been my comfy bra style for the last many years. I have thrown some of the older ones away over the last month or so. Now on to the bottoms. LOL I do try to purge them as they get out of shape or too worn and replace during the tax free weekend in August.

Now I'm getting ready to get off to the college again to do some more work on the accreditation project and a meeting with the program director - I hope, seems I can't ever seem to catch him when he's got a minute even when he tells me he will be available. ARG!!!

I'll come back with some TDD's and the floor moping.

Here is the recipe: healthy oatmeal raisinet cookies.

It said "low sugar"... but I didn't know if she meant low sugar as in... it didn't call for much actual sugar, or if it meant total. So I wasn't sure with the added raisinets if it would still work for Jeff.

Oh, I forgot. I didn't use raisinets. None of us like raisins. I used about a half cup total special dark chocolate chips. He said to use less next time. I think I might use a quarter cup bittersweet chocolate chunks and a quarter cup chopped walnuts next time.

I've seen those and thought they looked very helpful for organization. They are on my list for when I have extra money again.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so glad!!!!! It's so worrisome when they are driving a distance in bad weather.

We were supposed to have bad weather last week. News casters get the school kids all worked up over a snow day and then we don't get any BUT I WAS really glad that it didn't come because Steve would have had to drive his little Yaris 45 min on ice.....I would have been worried to pieces!

Seems like we always have good luck...Steve seems to be off on the icy/snow days.

I was just fitted by a specialist and I still doubt I am wearing the correct one. I very good friend ?? convinced me I need to go to Soma(part of Chicos) and be fitted. She also convinced me to try one of their very expensive bras. I don't know why I listened but I did. I am not any happier with that bra then I am with the two Genie Bras I got at Wal-mart. In fact I think they are more comfortable and fit me better. So much fro pricey pretty bras. I do have 8 bra's because I've collected them in my search to find one that fits well.

I am still lookign for the right bra too. I had a few that were pretty good but let the salesclerk talk me into a smaller band size than I thought I was (different from the last few times I had been measured). I figured she could be right b/c I had lost weight. They dont' fit right now but I gained back some of the weight. They feel really tight and I think they felt tight even before I gained. Sigh. So now I am wearing a few old bras that are out of shape. Time to go bra shopping again. Come to think of it, I don't ever remember seeing her before (Haynes Bali Playtex outlet) so she was probably new and not as experienced. Shopping for bras is my least fav shopping activity (with bathing suits in pretty close proximity).

my $.02 I.hate.shopping.for.bras.

hokay... i need to start making some progress today.

So far I've spend 35 minutes on the phone with microsoft getting a verification code so I can purchase Word 2010. I'm looking at the University edition which meant a manual verification as I don't have a college email address

I've made a list... won't even think about a TDD as I'd never make it back here today if I did:

my list for today:

100 pages (minimum) reading 231 pages read
edit book review
Quicken

These are all time consuming tasks so I will need to figure out a way to make major progress but still find some reward time (aka creative outlet)

I don't think it's wasting your time to try to track the phone. Nothing might come of it, but at least you won't wonder if there's something else you should have done.
That's true.

I should update y'all.

The find my iphone app showed the phone on the high school campus this morning about 1050 AM. Someone turned it on. I printed off that sucker and down the road I went! (you don't mess with my kiddo. ) LOL. Anyway. Since the high school network is a known wi-fi network to the boy's phone, it will show up on the map without cell service, once the phone is turned on in the vincinity of the high school wi-fi. so, i went to the high school. of course, they can't rouse 100 students. however, the principal said to catch the address tonight & he will run it down / find the student. can't beat that. so...i run to bg cell & explain all that & they turn the cell service back on. told me the overages they will reverse once they bill. so...dh & I are watching iCloud.

it got turned on again...about noon...and then got shut off again. I have it locked with a message to call DH cell. we'll see. AND, tmw dh is calling a lady that a friend of our's who puts up BG cell towers told us to talk to.

best we can do...and at least it's scoring us mom & dad points with the boy.

short story...waiting & watching.

I used to have at least 10. And many of them were pretty/pushup/etc. But that was before it was all about nursing.

Which is not in any way to take away from the fact that you just SHOULDN'T take people's stuff!! But I really don't understand the risk if you're almost certain to get caught??
