Seth was a benevolent King for the weekend! We had a very relaxing 3 days. All are sad it has come to an end. A nice holiday. Kids are back to school today but Steve has one more day off. We talked about driving an hour away, visiting a museum and getting Steve's favorite BBQ as an anniversary day we never took but I think we are going to opt for a home day and go out to eat lunch locally.
Tomorrow I am spending the day working on March and possibly April Lessons....so I may not be around much again the next few days.
What Zone are we in this week, Misti? That's awesome you already have your workout done for the day!
Sounds like you had a good 3 days and remember that a Stay-versary (a Stay at home anniversary) is a good one too as long as you're with the one you love.

Ahha! I'll get the hang of this. So it's Master Bedroom week.
It's kinda funny, I just told my dh that we needed to work on clearing off some shelves in our 2 open closets (we have those 2 we use as nooks and a walkthrough we actually use for clothes). His dad built the house and there is no shortage on closets - a blessing and a curse at the same time.
As for the mini challenge, like someone else said, I've already done that part so I will try to work on the other after I mop the floors from yesterday's mess.

Here's my quick list for this am as I try to get myself out the door
Already completed for the day
pulled up my side of the bed - dh worked until 6am so he's still in the bed
get dressed
breakfast
catch up on a couple of threads
put away some dishes from last night
I'll take the garbage out when I walk out the door it's 26F here and that's cold to us - only necessary trips outside today
Now off to the college until around 3 to work on the accreditation and a meeting.
When I get home and after I eat dinner with the hubs
mop the floors
pull things off those 2 shelves in the master bedroom closets
start sorting through them to determine what needs to stay, where it needs to stay
and what just simply needs to go
Hope y'all have a great day! Chat with you later.

It's only because that's a good way for me to wake up! My boys are on a strict training program & Mama is really struggling to keep up!!!
I'm still impressed. I really need to get off my bumm and get on some kind of exercise program. I used to say that I didn't exercise because I didn't have anyone to exercise with and even though that is still true, I need to change my attitude about it all. I need to make myself accountable to myself for it.
Have a great day!

Hey y'all! our Internet is out (widespread network outage which they are aware of) and 3G is slow so not sure how much I'll be on today.
!
Mine is always slow. Living so far out there is no high speed Internet. But on feb 5 our Internet company is coming out to give us a new anteannena and they have put up a new tower so hopefully we will have better service. They said if they can't improve our service they will admit it so that we can research other options. Some of the satellite services have improved.but of course that will require us to buy new equipment.... $$$

It's me! I'm using glossy accents with alpha dies. They are't very big and I'm just not precise enough. Squish, squish, squish.
Ooo, gotcha...that would be tricky. And squishy!

Yea!!!! I've done that. One thing done today! Actually I changed the bed and washed my sheets yesterday so I suppose I should find something to in the Master bedroom today to rep[ace this......

order new ones from OStock ...the ones we have are too thick and the elastics are gone from the corners and they are too tight to pull on easilyl. we just got a set from OStock and we love them and will order another set. was waiting for a coupon to come through and it did today. we are all set.

I think archer's birthday was nice. We went to the butterfly exhibit at the science museum, mom bought him Star Wars shoes, we had pizza out for supper, he got a build a robo-dinosaur kit, a pop-up book on the human body that he looks at every time we're there, and we got the new Star Wars pop up for the family. (thank you Aunt Mary for the Barnes & Noble gift card for Xmas!)
Need to make some birthday cards today. Need to pick up and declutter. Might work on photos. I'm sure I will desperately need the mini mission. I did do yesterday's! Needed that one too!

It's only because that's a good way for me to wake up! My boys are on a strict training program & Mama is really struggling to keep up!!!
Misti, Do your boys follow a book or a certain program? Have they just made it up as they went along to keep fit?
Steve was wanting to get Seth a book or something. Seth has been lifting weights for a few months and Steve thought it might good for him to have a certain program to follow.

potato patties and then the chicken made into a salad? or do you have chcken gravy to add to it? Potato patties are my go to thing to do with LO mashed potatoes. or if you have a creamed soup you could cut the chicken up and put it in there, if you don't, do you have broth or bouillon cubes on hand that you could thicken with flour or corn starch and put the chicken in there?
