It would be nice not to feel pregnant, sick and laying on the couch! I would be great to feel pregnant, happy and in the craft room!

My friend told me about a book called wheat belly. It sounds interesting. I will check my library and let you know.

You're so funny. When I called dd1 & told her what had happened she said she didn't think it had been used in several years. I told her that it looked like sheetrock dust, of which I am familiar, and they closed in their back porch in the last year or so - can we say sheetrock dust. She said she was sorry if it was something they did that caused it. I wanted to scream through the phone at her IF IT WAS SOMETHING YOU GUYS DID? REALLY!?! Oh well, the kitchen has been washed and wiped down from ceiling to lower cabinets. I still need to sweep and mop the floor but then it will be finished.

Next to the dinningroom part. dust the walls, dust the furniture, sweep, mop.

Then the livingroom and bathroom and hall with all the same thing over and over again until I have all the whole house is done.

Good evening! I am home from school and home from picking up the kids! I came into the house to the smell of the roast and veggies that Brent put in the slow cooker this morning. YUMMMMM! I think we should do this every day...I got the roast ready and added some liquid to it in the slow cooker glass insert thingy last night and he chopped and added the veggies this morning. The kids and I will enjoy it for supper and he will enjoy it for lunch tomorrow. (Did you like my proper grammar with the "and I" Melissa??! I've been doing grammar in my communications course!)

It is an awful day here today....VERY windy with lots of blowing snow. And COLD! The weather website says it is gusting up to 50 miles/hr...but I think its more than that.

Well all the rooms have been dusted now. Checking in here and then off to do the floors and rewash some dishes. I will say that the house will look much better when I finish. I really did need what I've done. Maybe this was God's way of saying "get off your bumm and clean up that place of yours" LOL

Well that's a good way of looking at it and making lemonade out of lemons. You will walk around and be so pleased with your "new" surroundings.

Janeenk & Stampingkwilter you are both right. I will walk around looking at how pretty clean it looks but it will be sometime after tomorrow afternoon. I ran out of steam before I got the mopping done. I have to be at the college in the am to prepare for a meeting that will take until around 3pm. Then it will be home or meet dh for dinner and a run into the Dollar Tree for a couple of things. After that I'll come home and mop.

So here's what I was able to accomplish today

Dusted 4 rooms & 2 hallways
Washed down cabinets & countertops in the kitchen
Cleaned the bathroom
Swept the same rooms & hallways
Trimmed shrubs
Taught a class
Put dishes away x3 now
Cleaned a shop vac - it's not blowing sheetrock dust now LOL
Vacuumed 1 heat vent and the 2 intakes or whatever they are called
Changed the 2 furnace filters
Got the garbage up and ready to go out in the am
Updated a couple of threads and fb
Posted pics of my son's tree trimming work on fb - this kid is like a fearless monkey up in
the trees with a chainsaw. Sceary

I'm going to go
pick out my outfit, etc for tomorrow
get my bag together for teh college
take a soaky bath in my "but tub" but I'm going to put as much of my body in it as I can
read a few pages in my book and
crash for the night

Sweet dreams to you all. Talk with you tomorrow.

Seth was a benevolent King for the weekend! We had a very relaxing 3 days. All are sad it has come to an end. A nice holiday. Kids are back to school today but Steve has one more day off. We talked about driving an hour away, visiting a museum and getting Steve's favorite BBQ as an anniversary day we never took but I think we are going to opt for a home day and go out to eat lunch locally.

Tomorrow I am spending the day working on March and possibly April Lessons....so I may not be around much again the next few days.

What Zone are we in this week, Misti? That's awesome you already have your workout done for the day!

Some serious dust bunnies under my bed I need to do away with.

Today's Mini Mission:

Today's mission involves sheets... wash them, fold them, straighten them on your linen shelf, replace them, make your bed...

I will make my bed then...as usual! The other stuff got done recently when I decluttered that closet.

Hey y'all! our Internet is out (widespread network outage which they are aware of) and 3G is slow so not sure how much I'll be on today.

I think archer's birthday was nice. We went to the butterfly exhibit at the science museum, mom bought him Star Wars shoes, we had pizza out for supper, he got a build a robo-dinosaur kit, a pop-up book on the human body that he looks at every time we're there, and we got the new Star Wars pop up for the family. (thank you Aunt Mary for the Barnes & Noble gift card for Xmas!)

Need to make some birthday cards today. Need to pick up and declutter. Might work on photos. I'm sure I will desperately need the mini mission. I did do yesterday's! Needed that one too!

Sweet. Our network is back up!

Making a card. I do not do well with liquid adhesive. It always squishes out the edge.

Very sweet.

Hmm, my liquid Tombo stuff...it's super adhesive and I only use a very faint line all along the sides and an "x" in the middle maybe. It took me some getting used to, but I love it now!!

It's me! I'm using glossy accents with alpha dies. They are't very big and I'm just not precise enough. Squish, squish, squish.
