Moving a little slow here this morning but our morning routines are done. We’ve had breakfast. A load of laundry is drying. DD1 unloaded the dishwasher. I think it's time for a TDD to get me moving.
TDD:
1. Load dishwasher with breakfast dishes
2. Hand wash baby bottles
3. Put away things on kitchen counter
Transfer March and April Birthdays from iPod to iPhone
Stamp Table
Make more envelopes
Make a Hobby Lobby run - I learned how to make the ruffle scarves and would like to pick up more yarn to make more. I will "choose" not to buy anything I don't need. -I made it in and out for less than $10. I only bought one skein because I refuse to pay full price and they weren't on sale. So I used my 40% coupon and stuck with just one. I also picked up some 8 1/2 x 11 Christmas paper that was 80% off so that I can finish making envelopes for the cards that I have made. So nothing I didn't need.

My family is there...is that the same as "Google Hangout"?
I have one of those "smart" phones that all I use it for is to talk on...it keeps updating things and I don't need it so smart...Red Bear takes it and makes the screen look "normal" for me again...
Why can't I just have a "cell" phone...one that just dials the number?
I with you on that, but they are virtually impossible to find anymore. My phone is a pretty "dumb" phone in that it isn't a full smart phone, but tries to be one. It keeps taking me to an apps page to download apps that I don't want or need. Ask Marnie about it she has the same phone and I know it drivers her nuts also. And I got this phone because it WASN'T a smart phone. I do like to text and take pictures though.

Well registration is done! YAY! I am all ready to start school on Monday! I told Jarod to wish me luck today because its my first day of school. Jarod said "Awwwww....she's growing up so fast!" Little bugger!
LOL......Best of luck! And congratulations on growing up .
I think I wore myself out with all my productivity and yesterday. I fell into bed at 11 and didn't emerge until 10. Which means I am already behind on today. I guess I should be thankful I am retired and can allow my body to sleep as long as it says it needs.
I am working on my coffee as I type. I am dressed, the bed is made and I started my morning, late as it was, in devotional reading. Time with the Lord is a first in the morning. I made it a priority when I started my new life down here and thankfully it is an activity that has stuck!
Now I need to get serious about the day......
Things to get accomplished Thursday:
Breakfast.....well make that brunch
Get padded envelope to mail car key to friend
Mail key to friend
Cards with Pam
Dinner
Mini Mission Declutter 1 item--even I can do that!
Sort through fabric scraps for yard sale
Begin to price items for yard sale
Cards with Shirley
Enter food eaten in MyFitness Pal
I need to get a move on since I need to be at that first card date in one hour.
Probably won't be back till 9 tonight....have a good day all.
This video is a much easier way than the pattern and in my opinion looks just as cute.
Yes, it is a special yarn... I have used two different kinds though... I have used the Patons Pirouette and the Yarn Bee Chrysalis... There is also the kind that she mentions in the video Premier Starbella.
1. Decide which decorations to take to my mom's for Jarod's first birthday party (today)
2. Find todays mission
3. Start a load of laundry
Geez! Talk about getting distracted! I did pick out the decorations I want to take to moms...then I picked out the decorations for the other two parties here! And then I put my school stuff in my new book bag! And then I wrote out my class schedule in my planner! And then I emailed the girl who I am buying books from! I STILL didn't get to the laundry! I did check out the mission for today...and I am going to come up with a new TDD now.

Thanks Lori! Definitely going to try this!
I love to knit!

I'm enjoying today but realizing I get nothing done when I use a day as a Saturday...
Reminder to kramomma...Today is NOT Saturday...
Get a list on paper...see what you can accomplish!
AEIOUY...
A-so far so good.
E-needs to go on the list.
I-did a restart with going back to bed because I could guilt free.
O-already did...probably could again before the day is over.
U-day isn't finished but so far so good.
Y-going to be home alone with Kub...guess I won't be making a list...I'm going to enjoy 90 minutes with him...

Nick got rid of two things that kinda shocked me...Woody and Buzz! He said they "freaked him out"! So, we asked him a couple of times if he wa sure...and that we will be giving them away. He said "Yes. I don't want them anymore!" So, into the donate box they went!
Jarod tried to get rid of a army tank...until Nick saw. If Jarod is getting rid of something that Nick would like to have then he gets it. So, he went back in and found a knitted finger puppet to get rid of. I tried to get him to toss a broken army helicopter...he almost did it and then said no. He wants to play with it (which he do). He has trouble letting go sometimes.
From the bathroom we got rid of a spiderman figure that had a broken leg (Nick found him).
From the living room we got rid of a bunch of boxes that were hanging around.
In the laundry room I found a empty bottle of windex.
In my bedroom I got rid of a pile of bags and boxes left over from wrapping Christmas gifts. I got rid of some more from my closet.
Then from my bathroom I got rid of a bottle of lotion that has been there too long.

Yes...and they were Jarod's! Brent mentioned saving them in with some of the other baby stuff we have. Its only a small amount...I won't disagree with him if he wants to do that. I DID put them in the donate box though. If my kid is going to let something go I'm going to run with it! And jump up and down! And shout hurray!

My boys were eager to declutter a school book each. They both finished a book today & were thrilled to have it go into the number of items out of the house for January!

Have a great day y'all!
Howdy! Got these done. Also hand washed some other dishes. I played Don't Spill the Beans with the girls a bunch of times. Hubby came home. We've all had lunch. Now it's time for another TDD.
TDD:
1. F/P clothes in dryer
2. Load lunch dishes into dishwasher
3. Wipe clean the table and kitchen counters
I so remember when Toy Story came out...Phillip was napping...Mom & I hee hee'd and hee hee'd... It was CUTE! cute cute cute!
I remember when my boys were given this at a birthday party...and I enjoyed watching it with them...(I don't watch videos normally but they were SURE I would like it...so I sat through it with them...)
I regret getting rid of their Toy Story Kids Meals collection...but I regret worse that we borrowed out their Lion King collection of toys and they were never returned...
Those were the days when kid meal toys were decent...

You got that right...anymore they are pieces of junk.
DS has a bucket of the Furbie happy meal toys. That's the only collection of Happy Meal toys I kept.
