Thank you Paula. I feel like I've gotten so much done and I'm feeling pretty good about it too. I may have to add even more to the list.
For the rest of my day I'm planning to
1 -strip the bed, wash, etc the sheets & remake it - done
2 -make the bed in my center room (spare room) - done
3 -finish up the embellies or card candy that was to be used for tomorrow's workshop which has been postponed until next Saturday due to the weather
4 -finish a pot of chili (I need more beans & beef in it) - done
5 -I also want to go to Lowes Home Improvement to get some brackets to reinforce shelves in the laundryroom and some other brackets you can just hook on bricks to use on my fireplace to hang the pics that I keep on the mantle to help keep it cleaner. - got the brackets for the laundry room but they didn't have the others.
You did well. Way to go on all the DONE ones. You have a bit of breathing room now for the stamping class.
It's just sample shampoos that we bring home from hotels we stay in.
I wouldn't purchase it for cleaning. Lol
Lol! I didn't think you bought it for that. But glad you aren't out any money for it. I love those samples! Jeff bought me a bottle last year, buying buy suave when I'm paying.

Brrrr. We have cold moving in but not that cold. I resisted purchasing the tiny attacher today at hobby lobby, I will get it next week w a forty per cent off coupon. I did treat myself to two bouquets of frsh flowers at $3.99 each from Aldis. Got two cards made from scraps done and two blog posts. Tomorrow will be a good day. I need to go to a visitation for a friends father right away in the a.m. And then the rest of the day will be mine.

I visited your blog (the first one listed). What a great blog! I love the cards and the scrapbook layouts.
I worked for a couple of hours tonight and got 11 different pieces of card candy or embellies for scrapbook pages made. 2 different flowers from punches, a snowman, an owl with a blue moon background, a penguin, a monkey face, a little black dress, a flower from cupcake holders, a worm, a quilted square, and something else I can't think of right now. They are all, except the cupcake holder flower, using punches and I'm pretty excited to have that behind me.
Tomorrow will be a day of vacuuming our duct work after I go to my dd1's to borrow her shop vac. While I'm on the way to her house I'm also going to drop off 2 baskets of old news papers in the recycle dumpster.
I think I'm going to sign off for the night and go to the CRC site and work on that for a while before I hit the sack. I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your night. Talk with you tomorrow. Try to stay warm. BTW I like the 64 degrees them. It is 28 here right now.

Thanks for visiting me. Wow, you made a lot of candy. I have seen others make candy from punches and I always think they are so cute. Pixels2pagea did a video with digi shapes and it ws fun to watch but I don't have the patience for it. You did good! Can youmpost some pics on our stamping chatter thread?? I do love using up my scraps though so I need to think about how punches would work with that.

Brrr fifteen sound cold, it's twice as warm here in WI today. Come visit me, oh that would be really fun....
Been up since 6 (early for me!) . Made breakfast for dh and ds before they head out on their fly fishing day.
Ooooh, my Grandbaby is such a cutie! Love love love love love! Waiting anxiously for him to,get up!
So I'm home alone and I wake up and wonder why didnt the alarm go off....oh that's right it's Saturday!!! Don't need an alarm for Saturday. It's i hmmm almost eight, I better get up. I did stay up till midnight though as I started reading a kindle book once I did get IN bed last night. I'm like a little kid having a pj party all by myself with DH gone.
He comes home tonight so that's good. Man he used to be gone five days at a time and almost every weekend. I like it better with him home more.
DD just called, she and my newly joined to the family niece, are going thriftiness this aft and she wondered if I want to come. Nah!!!! Let them young girls have fun. It's over an hour drive for me and I don't need anything. What I need to do is get the stuff in my car TO the resale store and see if the have any cash-ola for me. I was sick one day when I wanted to go and they were closed the other day when I thought about it. They are not open every day so I gotta call first.
Got lots of FLYing planned for today but first need to get myself together and run a quick errand and get back so DH can go to the library to study. He made his awesome broccoli salad and I promised some to a friend who is recuperating from foot/ankle surgery. I had planned to deliver it myself but she lives 40 min away. We still have Grandma stuff going on so I don't' feel like I have that chunk of time to spare plus Kevin needs study time and the house is SCARY!
I'll be back in a while to post a list. WHB in order today....

sounds like a good plan. make it fun and it'll get done...flylady motto!
I was awake putting a chicken in the crockpot...BUT...then I went back to bed!
It is Saturday dontchaknow?
An abnormal Saturday morning, but a Saturday nontheless...
how do you do your crockpot chicken, kramomma. I have never really used a crockpot much but i would like to do more. do you leave it whole, do you cut it up, do you put it in raw or brown it a bit first, it bothers me to think of putting raw chicken in at such a low and long temp but i guess people do. do you put soup with it? veggies? It's so out of my realm I can use some help.
i am home from the visitation. Now to change clothes and then do five minutes in each room. how do things get so messy with only me here....hmmm that tells me something. LOL
and Hey, I got my First Creative Memories book in the mail today. It is just my small 5/7 Gratitude journal I made for the month of November. Well I did have one other CM book made but that was waaaaay back in 2008 and I kind of forgot the thrill of getting the books. VERY high quality printing. I am so p.l.e.a.s.e.d. Can't wait for the big books to come. I have 2009,2010,2011 &2012 coming. I have done other digis in between of trips and and such but i did those on shutterfly and picaboo, while nice they don't have near the impact of creation like the CM does.
Thanks for visiting me. Wow, you made a lot of candy. I have seen others make candy from punches and I always think they are so cute. I don't usually make card candy unless I REALLY need it but DD1 decided that is what she wanted us to do for her SU workshop. Some of the folks she invited are cardies and some are scrapers so the idea is that they had to work for both, AND they do. Woo Hoo for me.
I will try to get some pics of them and upload them there (I haven't done that but a couple of times before and it will take me a while).

I wash the chicken, put it in the crockpot with a bag (thanks to deb_n_jeff for that knowledge and it is worth every dollar I spend on those bags!), turn it on high and let it cook until the chicken falls off the bone!
I don't cook with any seasoning...and I use sliced chicken for supper tonight then in other meals this week after I debone it.
Tonight I will put the bones in the same bag overnight with water to cook on low until tomorrow morning when I will drain the bones. Put it in the fridge to cool then store in freezer bags...use it to make my own chicken condense for hot dishes or gravy...
I'm learning...
Oh...I do put the chicken in frozen...or thawed...doesn't seem to matter...

Well now that I have the responses/comments on others' posts done I can start the day with
Good Saturday morning ladies!
I'm feeling a bit behind today. I could not get sleepy last night until about 2 this am then when I laid down my back and neck would not let me sleep so at 3:30 I was up taking meds for them and hit my recliner with the heating pad - hello 5am and finally, good night. Then 10:30 was here and I'm wide awake. I'm afraid I'm trying to come down with bronchitis and sinusitis, again - just got over it about 3 weeks ago. So what is my list for today
Done so far
Make a pot of hot water for coffee (for the hubs) and hot tea (for me)
Make the bed (he finally got up)
Talk with DD1 (Jessica) about getting her shop vac to do heating vents, etc
Take a 30 min soaking bath in hopes that the back will be nicer
To do
1 -Put dishes away - we have a dishwasher but with only 2 of us now I don't use it
2 -Fold sheets from last night's laundry and put away
3 -Wash a load of delicates
4 -Go to Staples for a few supplies for dh for work and for me to organize some
5 -Re-read the Pinterest post ref cleaning heating vents
6 -Purchase a new toilet brush to use for the vent project
7 -Finish taking down and putting away the last bit of Christmas decorations
8 =Spend 5 minutes in each room and see what I can get accomplished
9 -Get more tomatoes for the chili (boy am I having trouble getting it right this time but I like to let it cook for a while anyway)
10- Figure out something for dinner, though if I'm lucky the hubs will have that planned out for when we go on our errands
11 - Forgot that I probably need to eat some breakfast
So now I'm off to hit the but tub then get my day really going.
Hope you all have a great Saturday!
