Extra spoons you can dip in chocolate and sprinkle with candy bits or just decorative sprinkles and package in a cello bag. Makes a good gift with cocoa or coffee and a cookie or two.

i'm off to take my car in to be serviced. trying to find brothers b-day card, did i mail it??? really???

If it's good, I'll put it in the recipe thread.

I am not seeing a stamping chat thread...I am guessing we are doing it here? That's super fine with me....makes it a bit easier when it's all in one place.

Thought I would share a NON traditional type valentine...it's for my girl.

We do have one:
stamping CHATTER

A few posts aren't going to frustrate anyone, but in the past when we've had a bunch of posts on one specific topic... homeschooling, pregnancy, PL, Missus Smarty Pants, gardening, Finances, etc. then if someone isn't interested in that particular topic, they get frustrated having to wade through all of the posts.

You could dip/dry/re-dip them in milkk chocolate or white chocolate (especially the spoons) to stir coffee with.

We got somewhere between 1 & 4 inches of snow in our county. At my house we got about an inch. Our cable (including phone, tv & internet) went out about 10:15 last night and we've just gotten it back about 30 minutes ago. OH how I missed it. Funny how much you miss things when you don't have them.

So today while the cable was out dh watched old recorded shows and drank coffee. I
made a pot of coffee
drank coffee
read today's declarations from I Declare by Joel Osteen
cleaned the ceiling fans in the house
washed a load of clothes
reworked my Christmas wreath to be one I can use all year (it is white & dark blue so I added a bright red bow and worked some red ribbon through it)
made another wreath for my back door using red ribbon (I'm going to change the bow and add other goodies to it for the seasons)
put dishes away
touched up my bathroom

For the rest of my day I'm planning to
strip the bed, wash, etc the sheets & remake it
make the bed in my center room (spare room)
finish up the embellies or card candy that was to be used for tomorrow's workshop which has been postponed until next Saturday due to the weather
finish a pot of chili (I need more beans & beef in it)
I also want to go to Lowes Home Improvement to get some brackets to reinforce shelves in the laundryroom and some other brackets you can just hook on bricks to use on my fireplace to hang the pics that I keep on the mantle to help keep it cleaner.

I think with that I'll be alling it a day

That does look yummy!

We are having Myer Lemon Chicken from the cover of january Cooking Light Magazine. It looks yummy so I'm hoping. Kids are dieting so I'm trying to honor their choices, plus I could stand to lose some weight myself!

Back from a multitude of errands. Dh and I made good time (thus I have time to chat). we had our cheap costco date, shared a hot dog. I'm overflowing with veggies of all varieties. Kids are in an experimental mode and I'm all for it. Gonna try bok Choy, turnips, parsnips, yellow beets, ...... Yum! Tonight just gonna have steamed broccoli and cauliflower. But, tomorrow night were gonna have grilled steak and roasted root veggies. Then sunday a pasta dish from vegetarian times that uses the bok Choy. I'm very excited!

ETA - Who sends a 4 page email for something like that?!
I know, right??!! I would have sent a simple email to say I needed to leave early...personal reasons!

Good evening! I didn't get much done today...school, got my nails done, came home and had a really good nap...that's about it.

Tomorrow I'm hoping to get my housework done. I have to go to my nephews party (he's 3) and I may have to go to Port aux Basques to get Jarod a pair of skates. But after that the housework will be done!

Thank you Paula. I feel like I've gotten so much done and I'm feeling pretty good about it too. I may have to add even more to the list.

For the rest of my day I'm planning to
1 -strip the bed, wash, etc the sheets & remake it - done
2 -make the bed in my center room (spare room) - done
3 -finish up the embellies or card candy that was to be used for tomorrow's workshop which has been postponed until next Saturday due to the weather
4 -finish a pot of chili (I need more beans & beef in it) - done
5 -I also want to go to Lowes Home Improvement to get some brackets to reinforce shelves in the laundryroom and some other brackets you can just hook on bricks to use on my fireplace to hang the pics that I keep on the mantle to help keep it cleaner. - got the brackets for the laundry room but they didn't have the others.

It's just sample shampoos that we bring home from hotels we stay in.
I wouldn't purchase it for cleaning. Lol

If it's good, I'll put it in the recipe thread.
Looks good and simple too, I would use corn tortillas as I don't like how the flour ones get gummy when moist. I have been eating my own version for three meals now, supper, lunch and lunch again today. I love Mexican favors.
