Good morning y'all!

Today's plan
Morning routine
Get guest room ready
Clean guest bathroom
Clean powderromm
clean kitchen
Make a menu plan for the weekend. Kiddos are dieting so no desert, low/healthy carbs......
Laundry
If there is time left google what I should be doing to get my garden ready for early planting.

Having coffee in bed. Looking at my bookcase (6ft wide, by 7 ft tall) actually 3 bookcases/wall unit. Anyways, I'm thinking I need to do some work on it. Get rid of/ donate books, clear out magazines (this year I really am pulling them out month by month to go through them!) I have a cute Peter rabbit tea set on one shelf that I hope to play with with my grand kiddos but, does it really belong in my bed room?......

I haven't started a journal or done anything with my DO word.

My Self-acceptance word in pink with a scripture is above my computer screen....so it's a good reminder.

I think about my DO word a lot.....but not sure what to DO with it....other than just keep DOing what I'm doing....now that's clear as mud, right?!

Dh wants to go hunting again! Really!?!?

We bought a 14 pound brisket last night so it's gonna be grinding time tonight.

At Costco I bought 2 things. The 14 pound brisket and the Vegitarian Times magazine. The gal gave me the funniest look and comment.we both laughed. I like that magazine and we do eat Vegitarian some nights and also the recipes can be incorporated into regular meals. And, it was their 400 th issue........ And the cover recipe looked amazing! Ooooh. Yum!

Morning! Tired today! Jeff was on the phone, computer, and ipad working for about 3 hours in the middle of the night. I stayed in bed, but wasn't really asleep for most of it. (Of course, he has it WAY worse than me!) It's beautiful and cold and I think we are going to stay home and bake cookies.

Start the dishwasher
Charge camera battery
Fold clothes for 10 minutes, put away for 5

alrighty then, i have a about twenty minutes before i need to leave for hair appt. maybe i can get that cabinet done. it's long and deep so it's hard to organize it everything gets shoved to the back or else is falling out. likely things in there that can get tossed, they entered the cave and never came out.

Good Morning Fellow Fliers!

I hope everyone that is either sick themselves or has a loved one that is poorly feels better sooner.. sending healing thoughts your way.

We have been productive worker bees haven't we

I managed to do all on my list yesterday except the 15 min session on the Lounge/Dining Room, but I had guests coming over and I gave it a quick 5 min swish and it actually didn't look to bad lol!

But I went to bed with a clean kitchen sink, a clean loaded diswasher, and empty washing machine and and empty dryer with no laundry to do....happy happy happy

As DH has been working away this week, it is only me, and since I am cleaning there isn't a whole lot to do, but that gives me a chance to do those jobs that get left, which this weeks has left me focused on my craft room.

Today's Job List

Make bed
Swish and swipe bathroom
take dinner out of freezer
Get my self up and out to work

**Work**

dinner for DH who comes home today for the weekend
Zumba session at the local school (first one since I injured my neck early last year, so I am looking forward to it....well kind of)
Lunches
DH laundry from week away
bed

I have been making my lists of what I want to get done in each room ready for them to attacked...and then I looked at the Flybaby app and most of them were on the lists lol...well at least I am thinking along the same lines.

I hope everyone has a safe, productive and happy day!

Cher ~ I do feel like I am always running around doing things but never getting the things I need to get done accomplished.

Ref your book, etc, have you considered donating them to a local retirement home or nursing home? They enjoy reading new things and their libraries are typically books that are donated. Also Ronald McDonald houses love those kinds of things as well. If you might not want to donate the books but would like to trade them, so to speak, for some new ones to read look for local used books stores. We have one in a nearby town that will give you trade credit (in dollars) to purchase new-to-you books or they will also give you money for them as well.

Just an idea of some additional ideas you may not have thought of for your books.

I live in the piedmont area of NC up at the VA state line (about 15 minutes from us). And our weather forcast seems to have changed some. They are now calling for 2-6 inches depending on when it hits. Our Emergency Management Coordinator has issued a severe weather warning from noon until 1am. So I have no idea exactly what we're in for. Right now it is 48 degrees outside but it is very overcast - that snow look - and has been raining for 3 days.

So far today I have gone to the college and gotten that done, to the PO and gotten the packages mailed, stopped by Sears and paid a bill, gone to Walmart and gotten most of what I needed (as I walked out I realized I forgot the tomatoes for the chili - arg!), washed 2 loads of clothes (2 more to go plus sheets when the hugs gets up), washed dishes and cleaned off the counters in the kitchen. Nearly gotten my list done. Yeah!

Also I will be adding to my list today 5 minutes each in my med cab/toilteries as they are pretty must organized.

ya know...maybe I didn't forget the word...cuz I sure enjoyed those cards! maybe I just forgot to do it more often. like when I wasn't looking at a card that said smile!

ETA - just don't feel like I was successful with it last year...that's all. but I sure did enjoy ALL the smile cards I got!

Thanks for those ideas!

So is Amelia actually going down for naps now instead of needing to be held? I know Zack takes longer better naps when held but I think ddil is trying to get him to nap in bed. Not sure, guess I'll find out tomorrow. Can't wait to see my guy!!! And the kids of course.
