Of course, I couldn't necessarily fix them for her if she was back here at home either but it would make this momma feel a little better if I could actually see and watch what's going on

Off to get some more cards written... I'm preparing 19 little treat boxes & cards for my co-workers for Friday... my way to say goodbye to them as it will be my last day working there
Sorry that your dd is having stomach issues!

19 treat boxes??????

yeah.... she spent a week at a friend's home and they served just too many meals of bread with jam, buns with cheese... all things gluten that she really should not have eaten. She's been back on a GF diet since getting back to the school, but it seems like it will take a little while to work itself completely out of her system. In the meantime, she's in quite a bit of discomfort (and losing weight )

I don't know her situation but if she has diarrhea or constant upset tummy she can get some charcoal pills and take as directed on box. Our Walgreens Carey's them now, we used to be only able to get them at health food store. We used them in Vietnam when we had food poisoning, we take them with us whenever we go to a foreign country.

Yes it was. Still a majorly full pantry. Need to be sure and check for things befor I buy them! I'm not hoarding or doomsday storing but I do like to have a lot on hand in case we get stuck here during the rainy season. We have many low water crossings before I can get to town! At least 3. Also I bought for a lot more baking than I actually did this season! And, I have a weakness for varieties of pasta.

I'm pretty sure it the after-effects of having been back on a gluten filled diet for 2 weeks over her Christmas break

Morning!

It's raining again today! I do love the rain although, I must say it makes driving through High School pkg lot and surrounding roads even scarier than normal.

Hope everyone has a good day....my list is long!

woohoo! I like that sort of list!!! I had one of those days on Friday. It was a lot of fun.

Today is NOT one of those days for me. I needed to concentrate my energies elsewhere yesterday so I told DH that I couldn't get to the house...but I would....it really stressed him out so I am hurrying to create tomorrow's blog and then I am going to zip around here and hopefully make a big impact for him tonight! We are redoing our closet ....we have to empty it out every time we get to the attic....so we are trying a little something different. For now it's as if the closet upchecked in our bedroom!

So first up is a cup of coffee and a little internet..and then I'm charging into the closet!!

My boys have to fill out a "what are you doing with your time" tracking sheet for 3 days this week. They have to turn them in this weekend. I'm filling one out with them. They are using the microwave timer, I'm using my phone timer.

Good morning!! Just a quick stop in to say that I'm off to class. Only a short day today, then groceries, then home! All I have to do for homework is read a few pages in my book. So....not a completely free day as I had hoped...but it should only take me 20 minutes or so to do that!

Talk to you all when I get back!

What a cool exercise!

You will have to tell us if you find out something unexpected from your "time" journal!

I call false on #3. A bathroom rug is something that you step on when wet. Unless you're inspecting them every day chances are they will be dirty by the time you go to clean them.

And good morning.

something's gotta give.

it must be bring your kid to work week. plus...still taking that 30 minute lunch...yeah right...and leaving at 430. you mean you take your kid wherever you need to & you STILL take ONLY 30 minutes for lunch? wow. and I just fell off the turnip wagon.

something's gotta give. I'll gladly take the added responsibilities IF it means things will change. NOT if it means she continues as she has. it's ME or her. but not both. i cannot do this anymore. something's gotta give.

Yes...but someone else is doing that today...not me!

Now I'm going to the basement where the fun is in my house...and fun isn't housework!

Pink Snuggles has a friend coming for lunch at 1 PM...she will clean the kitchen as she goes and afterwards...I will still be having fun!

Good morning! I'm up. It's cold, but not wet. It was supposed to rain all week. Hmm. Sometimes it's nice when "they" are wrong. Not that we've been outside really. Did I mention it's COLD??

It IS really hard to keep them clean! I have 2 sets....so I try to rotate them often...but mom fell down on the job...BOTH sets are/were dirty...they are in the wash right now!

Thanks for the positive!!!!

AND GOOD morning to you.....

How did Amelia sleep? How did you?

I had a rare night of bad sleep. Usually...5 or 7 hours I sleep hard....but last night...about 5 1/2 and it wasn't good hard sleep...kind of awake a lot ....felt like the beginnings of dizziness most of the night.....

Really, I wasn't going to do anything extra today...

Non housework items is...getting meals ready, on the table while still HOT, and cleaning the kitchen as I go and when the meal is finished...

That was my plan for today...plus sew and stamp...

Emptying the dishwasher is necessary...is it housework?

Yes...but someone else is doing that today...not me!

I said a prayer about your work situation this morning while I was working on my kitchen....and that was BEFORE I saw this!

She woke up a few times. I woke up a few times. Nothing terrible, nothing amazing.

Oh, so I've been following Becky Higgins, Ali Edwards, Studio Calico and others at CHA on instagram. Last night, I dreamed that Ali Edwards was at my house (except it's the one I grew up in, not this one) looking at my Project Life album...that has almost nothing in it. Perhaps I should get to work.
