Thanks Paula! We're very careful about hand washing. I just picked up a 3 pack of Clorox wipes at Target yesterday. I think they will get some use today! I am just really worried about the baby and praying she doesn't get it. With her medical problems with breathing, if she gets the flu, RSV, etc, it will likely land her in the hospital. We've been very careful about keeping her away from people since she was placed with us and so far she hasn't been sick. But it's kind of hard to keep her away from us. We'll just do the best we can trying to keep her from getting it.

Is fluff similar to marshmallow cream or is it something else? I've seen it but never eaten it.

Hopefully as she is sleeping through the night more, your body will adjust and start sleeping better too.

Peanut butter and marshmallow cream...that sounds yummy! I would try that. My nieces love apple jelly with their PB sandwiches.

My grandpa used to eat a very strange sandwich...Peanut butter, vienna sausages, and I think he also put mustard on it. Ick! He loved it! He convinced my middle sister to try it one time. I think she kinda liked it too. I never tried it though.

Morning all. All that talk of PB made me get up and eat a spoonful. I was just eating a piece of cheese and some bacon at the time. Actually I think the boys sandwich sounds kind of good. Better than jelly and eggs. Ack!

Slow mo today, feeling tired. Have cranio sacral at four. Want to go in early and take my rav 4in for recall maintenance updates.

I need to insert the word "TRY"...

Posting a list is a great way to get started...then make a Control Journal...then use the CJ...then you are on your way to successful living...

I don't use a Control Journal either, but I think it's more because I've never found one that worked for me. I've bought one, tried making my own, etc. I'm not buying Flylady's because I don't really use the free holiday control journal either so I don't think the other would be any different. I know Flylady says it's perfectionism keeping (general) you from doing it, but if that's the reason it's deeply subconcious.

I tried flylady s several times, both my own version and hers, I guess already have routines established, I like going to her site to see what week we are in and doing her missions but wo kiddos around anymore our lives are pretty laid back. I don't know if I ever could have got it to work even back then, I don't do well with journals.

Did budget sheets. (shudder) Ok. Need to tighten the belt. Which is sad since we kind of need new belts.

I should get up and do something. I think of ways to save money just as well moving around the house as sitting in this chair. Will be back to post what I did.

Well, I have not accomplished much this morning other than getting dressed and feeding the kiddos. I've spent the last 1.5 hours on the phone and dealing with DHS stuff. I got a phone call about the baby which led to 4 other phone calls and some emails. I'm excited though and hopeful baby girl's therapies can start soon! She got referred to therapies at the beginning of November and she's still not getting them. Of course it took a while to get into a clinic to get all the evals done and then get things started with the DHS Early Intervention program. Then after the evals were done we've had trouble getting the therapies started. The place that did her evals couldn't offer home therapy because their therapists' schedules are too full. They are hiring more people but they won't start until February. When I asked about bringing her into the clinic until then, I was told they would have to see if they could work her into the schedule. I haven't heard back. The lady from Early Intervention has been working for the last month trying to see if she can get the baby in with that clinic or other providers here and they are all too full too. Who knew it would be so hard to get therapies? On Friday afternoon, a new place from another county was approved to offer services in our county. I was so excited to hear that! I signed the DHS paper work yesterday. I got a phone call from the clinic today. Looks very promising!!! Yay!!!

Sorry, just so very happy to finally hopefully get this baby girl the help she needs!

Hello all. Once again life has gotten away from me. I thought things would calm down after last Sunday and I could catch my breath and get caught up back here and in house. That is just not to be. My mom called yesterday to tell me my cousins husband had died that morning. So I scrambled around last night and all this morning to make flight arrangements to go back to MI tomorrow for a Thursday funeral. I have also been trying to cancel appointments, newspapers and do laundry of things I need to pack. I will be gone until Sunday and then moving right into final plans and setting up for quilt show. New schedule is hoping by Jan 27 I will catch a few calm days.

This will be a test of my body to see if I still can handle 20 degree temps......

(((HUG)))

I'm struggling with the 34* temps!!!

21 degrees outside...64 degrees inside...

Both are cold in my opinion...

So far today:
Unloaded/reloaded/running the dishwasher
Washed a load of laundry
Brunch
Budget sheets
Called Mom
Got Amelia down for a nap
Cleaned some of the more egregious spots on the kitchen floor

Next:
Switch laundry
Work on cards?
Start handwash dishes

Still snowing here! We are also getting some sleet/ice. I do not like ice! This is so crazy! I had no idea it was going to snow today! Apparently it has been sleeting this morning and I didn't realize it. We had some sleet and a few flurries yesterday but it didn't really do anything. I knew they were talking of bigger snow/ice chances for Thursday but I was not expecting this today! They said there were chances of snow in south AR today but we are right in the center!

I let the girls go out to play for a while. They are ready to go back out again. It is snowing huge beautiful flakes right now!!!

Only must do plans are pay bills and get things to the mailbox. Prob in the car. It's cold y'all!
