Ok, well, got the two most pressing bills paid. It is DEFINITELY dark now and I don't like to do business on Friday night so I am done. Jeff is on his way home. I guess we're doing burgers for supper again. Just quick and easy. It will kill his bread, though. Hmm. Maybe the kids would rather have nuggets?

I will get those started then pick up until he gets home. At least Ezra didn't nap so he should get to sleep a little sooner tonight.

After the December holidays, our anniversary, and then Archer's birthday I am THRILLED to skip a holiday!

I do like polka dots and hearts, though. I might check out some of the goodies. But I really need to loooove it to get it and it needs to be non-holiday specific.

Got home a few min ago. Game is on, plan on making my card during commercials & half time. Soup is simmering, Dylan is making queso. Gonna have to get on the exercise bike at some point tonight too!

OK...the lemon juice/baking soda paste is down. Got my timer set for 15 min (how convenient) and then have to spray with vinegar and then wipe clean.

I haven't "valentined" before but I think I am this year. (at least a few) I have some stamps and ideas rolling around in my head.

Last year I made over 30 little die cut valentines....I WON'T be doing that again! That's something to do for a couple of your favorite friends not a classroom!

Actually I am thinking about making a note set...so that now and then I will have a smallish card ready and can stick in DH's back pack for work....just to let him know I am thinking about him.

Anyone have any experience with spider bites? Amelia has a weird circular bruise on her stomach. Jeff thinks maybe it's a spider? She's acting completely normal.

I've had several spider bites, some of them just look like a bruise, some have just had a big knot & a few have had nasty discharge. Do you have any Benadryl cream?

I had 56 CHOICE pictures to scrap for december alone. this was one busy year. biggest scrapbook i have ever made.

My day took a totally unplanned detour. I did accomplish a few things on my list, but accepted a spur of the moment invitation for dinner and watching of the Cotton Bowl with good friends here in The Villages. Went to their house at 4:30 and just returned home. Great time was had by all.

I did get the mini mission completed and went to my PSE class but that was pretty much it for the day. But I am happy. Any day spent with friends is a good day!

Lemon juice/baking soda/vinegar concoction worked quite well on the bathroom. It doesn't smell like pee any more! See detailed comments on FB if you have it.I got the how to from Pinterest, of course.

I think I did my whole list today. For the first time in I don't know how long I have TWO empty laundry baskets (usually have to empty one before I can continue with laundry). I have one sitting here to f/p but much of it is kid stuff so it will wait till the AM. Heading to bed now.

Oh...also did most of the budget form. We can easily afford sending Little J to preschool at the Y 2 days per week (plus a couple hours extra to account for DH's class schedule). Will call Monday to see if they have a spot for us.

spider bites...yep...Red Bear has had them along with the bad dreams afterwards...don't tell the kids they have spider bites! A cream works unless they start growing red around them...then you need an antibiotic ..uhm...had those more than I care to remember.

Stampingkwilter...what is PSE...I would guess Post Secondary Education...what are you taking if that is correct?

No calendar holidays at our house...love the non-stress of life! I even go so far as to white them out on FlyLady's calendar...I enjoy my non-stress living.

Kub heads back to Texas today......sad to see him go but he does enjoy his job and what he is learning in that area. Certainly isn't MN!

Stamplady13...it is amazing every day to see what a difference 15-minutes makes in your home...and with it consistency in picking up after yourself...I did not want to clean the kitchen last night after supper...but...I thought of what my life used to be...and I did not want to wake up to dirty dishes this morning...

And...I didn't...

Now I will make a big breakfast for the family before Kub leaves and then I'll have a messy kitchen again!

Good morning! I'm going to work on yesterdays mini mission today. So far i have put away the hanger clothes from the laundry room. Next I will:

Put away the folded clothes in the laundry room
Fold the towels that are in the dryer, put more in washer/dryer. and put the towels away
Start sorting the HUGE pile of too small clothes in the laundry tub

Well it certainly could be Post Secondary Education but it isn't in this case. It is Photo Shop Elements, the program I use to organize and edit my photos. I've had the program for many many years and have used it rather ineffectively for organization and for simple photo editing. I've decided it is time to really learn how to use it and so am part of a club that meets every month to work on learning it. Yesterdays meeting was on Organizing your photos so you can find what you want easily. IT was very helpful. I may also use it to organize my digi stamps and digi scrapbooking elements. Still thinking on that......

I don't follow calendar holiday's either. There are too many that are simply what I call "Hallmark" holiday's. I love to send cards for things, but I want to do it for meaningful events to me and the receiver not based on what a card company says I should......

IT will be interesting to see what today brings....there a lot of activities with others planned that are somewhat still up in the day. If I had a daily word I think today's word for me would be flexibility...... At the moment I need a cup of coffee. Another late night last night and I'm MOVING rather slow.

Morning!! All of 18* right now!

Our company is on the road again! We had a wonderful time! We knew the DH but not the rest of the family, but we all had no issue visiting. It was great!! She is a very talented quilter, so guess what??? Last night while laying in bed, I decided I would send her home with my UFO quilt that I started last winter. With baby coming, sewing is the last thing on my list of creative pursuits!!! So I asked her this morning about it and she has done that lots of times for people!! It's all cut out and the blocks are even all put together! And she loved the colors, so she said it would be super fun for her to work on. And she quilts it all too!!! JOY! I feel so good having that project off my shoulders b/c it would not be getting done for many years likely...and then I wouldn't like the colors anymore probably!!! DH is building me a quilt rack!!

Sunny and bright out. DH and DD2 have gone to help some friends about an 1hr away butcher some of their chickens. So they'll be gone until after lunch. DD1 and I are enjoying some quiet time, then we'll head down to craft! I even got my 15 min in my craft corner before co. came...but I think I mentioned that!

Good morning Flyfriends. Kids are up, dressed and fed. I'm up and fed. Got a movie going for the kiddos and dishes put into the empty d/w. Time to make my list:

Shower and dress to indoor footwear
AM meds
J's AM meds
YMCA?

1 load w/d/f/p
f/p one load
Put away clothes on end of bed
Find places for K's Christmas loot
1 hour basement rescue
Call Issy
Check on DFIL
Check on Chadwick's return
Pay 2 bills
Figure out Shaklee order
Finish budget
Check on WHB - what does it entail
Shop for vacuum
PM meds
J PM meds
Kids PM routine
Bed by midnight

OK....gotta wake DH up and talk to him about the plan for today. We have a couple of returns to do. I've found receipts for 2/3. DH has no idea where the receipt is for the too big ugly slippers he bought me. He usually gets it right. Not sure what he was thinking this time.... (well, I do. He was thinking they were nice and fluffy like another pair he bought me and I loved. But...I already have FOUR pairs of slippers and these are some sort of scraggly unidentifiable animal print. I don't own ANYTHING in an animal print...for a reason....) He also doesn't know where the shipping receipt/return paper is for the Chadwick's order or the envelope they ship in. That can probably be remedied since he ordered online and there is a confirmation email...somewhere....

Anyway.....off to do meds and wake him up!

Put away the folded clothes in the laundry room
Fold the towels that are in the dryer, put more in washer/dryer. and put the towels away
Start sorting the HUGE pile of too small clothes in the laundry tub
Thanks for reminding me. I have to finish putting away the clothes on the end of the bed.

Good morning y'all!

Home at last! It's so good to be home! It's so good to sleep in my own bed!!

Not gonna try and catch up right now. I will do that during my coffee breaks.

Plan for the day
Unpack truck ( got in late)
Unpack bags
Start laundry
Put away clean dishes
Plan a healthy dinner

Welcome home, Cher!

That coffee looks divine, Janeen! And not because it's upside down.

Yesterday's mini mission just got done here. Jeff and the boys went to the gym so they took the huge stack of clothes we decluttered to Goodwill. I'm going to try to get all the clean laundry folded and put away today, too.

Dishwasher is running, Jeff tossed old leftovers from the fridge and took the trash out.
