I did 2 sessions & got some relief. He said the chiro dude has his chronic migraine/headache people do a session every other day or every day & it seems to help.

Actually, NOT!!!wisdom tooth. It's a front tooth that came in sideways and even though he has had 2 other surgeries to coax that tooth to do the right thing...it has gone and done the opposite. the surgeon said he has never seen a tooth do that before. Anyway.....here's hoping it comes out on Wed!

You are probably right on that. We always get compliments on how polite and well-behaved they are. If only others saw how they are at home they would get a whole different picture! I am sick of them arguing with everything I say or deliberately disobeying. J's thing lately is "keep away". If I ask him to give me something (like the remote or my phone or something he has in his hand that he shouldn't) he holds it way away from me so I can't get it or even throws it across the room. Not sure what to do about that but it's happening a LOT. And the FIGHTING. I put some jobs in a bucket and plan to have them pick one out when they are fighting. So far, the warning has made them stop...for a little bit.....

When I got there they told me they had a 4:30am fire call and had just basically left to go home to go to bed and sleep. And that they didn't have my phone number. I was like 1-good I can go home but then 2-they know dh's name and we are in the phone book.

So now I'm home and back into my more comfy clothes - I get more done in them because I'm not worrying about messing up my nicer work clothes. I've caught up with everyone and boy have there been some chatter on here this am.

So what am I doing today

-pull some things out of my craft cave so I can sort that embellies box to easier catagories (bling, journaling boxes, framelets or punches out things, stickers, etc)
-do at least 1 more CRC lesson - I actually did 1 lesson and a section quiz along with 1 lesson from another section
-I also have to bake some Amish Friendship bread (I think that needs to be the first thing on the list to be done)
-lunch
-figure out something for dinner
-work on the master bedroom once dh gets up
-class 5:30 - 8:30 (I like to get there by 5 so I don't have to unlock the door and disarm the alarm AND I have a few minutes to just be still before the students get there. I have to admit I'll be so glad when next Monday gets here. This has been a challenging class.)

I think that will do it for now- we'll see how the rest of the day goes
I have started on my breads and guess what - I don't have enough eggs or flour so I'll be leaving early for class and stopping by the store to pick some more of them up. Then after class I'll be baking again. As it stands I have 5 doz cupcake breads made and 1 1/2 more doz in the oven.

Now off to take care of the last few things and rotate my cupcake breads.

I got a couple more hours of studying under my belt! I did the online problems I found. There were three...the first one had a expanded accounting equation and a balance sheet. The second had t-accounts, a trial balance, an income statement, a statement of owners equity, and a balance sheet. The third had general journal entries, ledger postings, and a trial balance. All of that took the better part of the couple of hours!

All I have left this evening for studying is to read over my key terms again and read over the notes that I made for myself (on things that I can't seem to remember).

I am not sure where the day went. Actually when I think about it I have a pretty good idea. I was gone 2 hours for the Alanon meeting this morning, then lunch, then took DS1 to a friends house that took another 40 minutes in driving. I swept up dry scooping beans at least twice and run a couple loads of laundry. Still not a very productive day over all. Bummer.

Good alanon meeting thought. My hubby is active AA but dry and mom is dry as well. Alanon always does me good. I should not judge someones sobriety but I will just go based on what I see. My husband flipped out over two letters on the kitchen counter wanting to know who I was writing to and if they were "nice cards". Then he said I was "all dolled up" to go to dog class. Very bad weekend.

We are back to our usual routine tomorrow with the oldest back at school. I am contemplating a new homeschool curriculum. I just can't seem to get myself together to make things happen on my own cobbling things together. I need to work on those routines and make some goals for myself and stick to some plans.

I am also contemplating becoming a hobby demo for SU. I spend enough each year that it would be worth it for the discount. I guess what you save really just ends up covering the shipping and tax but that sure adds up. I have been stamping more since hanging around here. Also getting my space organized has been huge. My craft closet can actually breath a little bit now. I still have a few things to tweak in my work zone but it is coming along nicely. Setting aside those 15 minutes here and there has actually got me working on things and getting them done.

One last thing. I just keep talking away here. I need to get out more. I have no friends...it is really pretty sad. I was laying in bed last night thinking how nice it is to have my evening routine down. I get everything done and it doesn't have to be some rigid order or time schedule. It feels great having all the kids clothes downstairs to get dressed in the morning. They all share a room and wake up in stages, so it is just easier, plus I have my clothes laid out and ready for my morning shower. I get my son's lunch packed and don't have to worry about anything but waking him up in the morning.

Cool Cool. All thanks to FLYlady, I need to reread her book it always helps.

Anyway...better dash for the evening. Hugs to all you who are not feeling well.

Hugs! I'm glad the meeting helped. That's more important than cleaning a hot spot. Hope your load gets a little easier and that you find some good friends soon!

I'm glad you went. Will keep you in my heart. Your life is not easy, you have this group, that is a start. Gald your flying is sprouting wings. That always helps. I'm sure your DH has a personality change without the alcohol and he needs to find himself in the process also. Hugs to you.

long day away from home. Left the house at nine and got home after seven. DH had an appt in Wausau also, at 3:00 and was done around four so we met for supper. Found a nice cozy new little place. We both enjoyed it.

I went to Dr. Sam's club, bird store, goodwill, FINALLY got my whole carload of stuff to a resale shop, Victorias Secret, Michaels, grocery store. I had a coupon for 25% off total order at Michaels and they had 30% off Spellbinders so I purchased another set of dies. Also they had 40% off artist stuff so i added another copic. I am buying them slowly, one by one. LOL. So quite a day. I need to do my exercises and then i think i will go to bed early.

It didn't!!

I started to tidy the things he has dragged back into his room already and then got overwhelmed. I went to studying instead...and will work on his room during the week when I don't have the thought that I should be studying on my brain! I am hoping to give it at least 15 minutes a day when I get home from school every day during this week. Sometimes I don't get home until 6 and then have to prep supper, help Jarod with his homework (Brent helps Nick since he is home at lunch time), do my homework, and have the whole "go to bed" fight with the kids. I'm sure I can 15 minutes in there somewhere...just not sure I can fit much more than that!

I am done studying! YAY! I spent about 3 and a half hours today and at least 2 and a half hours yesterday on accounting. I feel confident! Wish me luck! Pray that I at least get 1 mark more than the other girl!

Thank you! So far the kids have been very supportive. If I need to study I say that I'm doing my homework and they are pretty good! Now, they do have their moments...some nights it is impossible to get anything done...but for the most part they are good.

Boy do you have a plate full - my heart goes out to you as well as plenty of prayers and loads of {{{hugs}}}. I'm glad the Alanon meetings help you. As you know you have to take care of yourself before you can take care of anyone else. I'm sorry dh is so insecure and puts it off onto you. Maybe things will be back to normal once ds is back at school.

If the new curriculum will make things easier for you - I'd say go for it. There is no need to reinvent the wheel when you don't have to. That's called working smarter not harder.

Glad the Flying is helping you. I'm new into it and seeing you all as role models. And as far as friends are concerned, please count me as one of your friends. I know I am miles away but I am only as far away as your computer. Never worry about "talking away on here". We're here to support each other, or at least that is what I believe.

Love and hugs and prayers

So what am I doing today

-pull some things out of my craft cave so I can sort that embellies box to easier catagories (bling, journaling boxes, framelets or punches out things, stickers, etc)
-do at least 1 more CRC lesson - I actually did 1 lesson and a section quiz along with 1 lesson from another section - done
-I also have to bake some Amish Friendship bread (I think that needs to be the first thing on the list to be done) OMG I finally got them all done. (5 2/3 doz regular + 2 loaves; 3 doz blueberry & 2 doz chocolate + 1 mini loaf) I still have 2 loaf pans cooling then wash and thank you GOD I'm done.
-lunch - I know I ate but I couldn't tell you what
-figure out something for dinner - I stopped for pizza and we made a salad

-work on the master bedroom once dh gets up
-class 5:30 - 8:30 (I like to get there by 5 so I don't have to unlock the door and disarm the alarm AND I have a few minutes to just be still before the students get there. I have to admit I'll be so glad when next Monday gets here. This has been a challenging class.) - yep that's out of the way

-I also ran (no really I drove) to the grocery store to get the things I ran out of;
-caught back up on here
-changed the reservation name on the week we sold
-I talked with the the asst chief from the fire dept and we will reschedule the class
-I also talked with one of my bosses at the college ref some additional classes

I feel like - stick a fork in me I'm done. I am going to finish packaging the muffins (I called them cupcakes but muffins are probably more correct) and the loaves of breads, wash those 2 pans and probably go to bed. It seems I didn't get a couple things done but I'll add them to tomorrow's list.

Ha! And good one. I was surprised in dec. when I cleaned that drawer. I was also able to purchase two more VS bras yesterday so now I have five to rotate through. I love me when I am wearing my new big girl undies. . I feel secretly beautiful. It surprised me cuz I wasn't feeling unbeautiful wearing the old stuff but what a difference wearing the new. And I dumped all the undies I didn't like for one reason or the other.

Good article.
