Good morning all

Thank you Melissa for keeping us going from thread/month to month and our day to day. Without you I'm not sure I would remember what day it was.

I'm not sure what my plans are for today. I know all the things I need to do but we may be taking my ds back home today and that will take a HUGE chunk of the day. So we will have to see how it all that goes before I make my list. If we have to take him home it will be - go get the uhaul, load his things, drive 3 hours stopping along the way for breakfast, unload his things, take the uhaul back, drive back home with an AC Moore stop (there isn't one here but there is one just off the highway) and a stop for dinner. By then it will probably be around 8 or so and since I'm not feeling 100% right now anyway it will probably be come home and go to bed.

If we don't take him home today it will probably be a dust the house, clean the floors, make a few phone calls, finish the laundry, clean the bathrooms, pick up the laundry room, pick up the kitchen kind of day.

We'll see which one it will be. I have to admit I'm really hoping for option 1.

Hope everyone has a wonderful start to their February.

Morning! It's house cleaning day at our house! Everyone is going to pitch in a bit. Week long snow days and no one wanted to do anything so today they ARE going to help!

Donna, Sounds like a long day. I hope you have a good one where ever the day takes you!

Hope everyone has something fun on their list today?

Saturday,Saturday, Saturday...

The roads are clear that I can drive the big van to do errands in our little town this morning...

Also...the laundromat for washing rugs and the heavy duty Carrhart coveralls. Sheets are washing here...

and I hope for a productive start to February 2014...January didn't end so well...

Plan to address envelopes for the month and get some cards sent...did a great job of making 70 cards in January but don't think I sent more than 5...

Wonder what those FlyBabies are doing this weekend in GA?

I'm thankful also...I really do get off kilter after so many years of her posts and when she goes silent...so do I...I was better about knowing the day/date when my children home educated and we kept a schedule...there isn't much schedule to my life lately...

As for your plans today...option 1 needs to happen...

Morning! I hope everyone has a good weekend! We're going to a friend's to help out. She had her 3rd baby 6 weeks ago, but isn't recovering from her c-section and they put her on bed rest yesterday. She's going to call me and we'll figure out a time.

My hubby has Carhart overalls too. And we both have Carhart coats. Mine is pink and has furry stuff inside. Very warm!!!

That's very nice of you! Poor thing, I'm glad that I don't know what that is like! Poor ddil had to deal with that and all that happened to Zack at the same time.

I'm not a doctor but...I have a friend who uses "Silver" for everything...and another friend wasn't recovering from her c-section (had infections, 3 rounds of antibiotics didn't help)...used this "silver" and was greatly improved within 24-hours and within I think 48 was fine...

It's something from the health/homeopathic sources.

Good morning y'all!

I had a fun day yesterday.
First I got my kitchen cleaned up. And the table organized.
Then I headed out to do errands. I went to Ulta and got my face made up. I was just gonna look at some new eye makeup but they were doing makeovers so.... Fun. I bought several things with my 20% off coupon.
Then I went to michaels and bought more starbella yarn while it was still on sale. I'm loving knitting these scarves!
Next up was Starbucks. I'm trying to earn 15 stars by feb 11 to get a bonus 20 stars. So I bought a sandwich, then I bought a coffee then I bought some decaf beans. So, 3 stars earned yesterday.
Last but not least I went to the grocery store. Not my usual HEB but this one is so much nicer. But I don't know it as well so it took me much longer to shop. But, I got to sample a lot of wine and then take my time shopping and looking some items they carry that my store doesn't. All the while sipping my SB coffee.
Finally I drove home. I let dh know that I would meet him at our sunset area. And although I missed sunset we were able to sit and chat and watch the after glow. It was beautiful! We sat out there until it got dark.

Thanks kramomma, I'll tell her! Two doctors saw her yesterday and they don't believe it's infected, but strained so we'll see I guess. Her first two birth experiences were bad so prayed and prayed for a healthy baby and a good birth. Birth was great, but this recovery has been awful. Between the two of us we've had 6 c-sections and this is the first time it's taken more than 5 weeks to recover.

That sounds awesome Cher! I never do the star dashes. 20 bonus is amazing! I'm hoping to get to Ulta tonight. I hate shopping Saturday night with the crowds, but there's a product I'm wanting to try and it will be a few months before the good coupon rolls around again.

Ooooh, what product do you want? I got the Urban Decay naked eye shadow palette. Crazy I know but I just so wanted some new fun eye shadow. I also got their mascara and some free stuff but I haven't looked at that yet. I really liked their foundation and powder but I have plenty right now.

No ultra here, but my friend is going to be selling spa products and she is doing a pre game demo. Should be a fun party.

I need to figure out something to take to the party tomorrow. I was going to make cheese cake but I don't have time now. So thinking maybe shrimp and cocktail sauce.

That's awful Paula, nothing worse then belly pain when all you want to do is care for your newbie so nice of you to help out.

Ash face timed this morning so that was nice. She visited The Cake Boss bakery yesterday. She said it was nice but everything was dark chocolate and aren't dark choc. Fans.

Working on my first tutorial blog post for my guest spot. It's for Feb 4 th. Its on a private Ning site so I'm hoping you all will be able to see it, but you may have to sign in. I think I may ask if I can post to my blog a few days later.

Kevin will be at the range judging all 3 lines today, so I don't expect to see him until about 10pm.

It's a work day here. We missed school on Wednesday being in the car all day & we'll miss 2 days next week in Vegas. The last thing we want to do is to take school work!

I need to make a couple of cards, put out a hot spot, do some ebay things & maybe if we get everything accomplished, we'll go to a retirement party for an archery dude who would like the boys to be at the ceremony.

Heat wave...

Temperature is 19 degrees...

Car wash line is long wait...

5 cars in front of me...30 minute wait...

7 cars behind me once I got in...

Car dirty with light spray by the time I get to the grocery store 1 mile away!

Car dirty with light spray by the time I get to the grocery store 1 mile away!

If it's below freezing here, the car wash places aren't open.

It was a rather nice day here today, I think we were just above freezing. Even took Jaec out to play with snow balls.

I'm baking pumpkin pies now for the Super Bowl, then making pulled ham and chicken, and home made salsa.

Of course we have to run back to the grocery store because we thought we had a half ham in the freezer but we don't.

Once that's done, hope to get my scrap on!

Hello! Happy February....not...LOL, I've been so grumpy today. Finally crashed I guess. Been so proud of myself for navigating through the last few weeks without being grumpy, losing it etc. Today I'm just plain grumpy. Had on my mind that we were going in to town this morning and that didn't happen. 1. I hate going to town on Saturdays. 2. hate even more going in the afternoon. But oh well. DH had some clearing of snow to do so we would be ready for our church meeting here tomorrow. Then when he finally did go late this afternoon, I just couldn't go. Grrr....all the grumpies for naught LOL! But the day just isn't syncing nicely for me like it usually does. Oh WELL right?

Paula, glad you can go help out. I can't imagine the recover/work etc with a c-section, but who better than you? Very nice! I've heard of silver being beneficial also.

Our van hasn't been washed in eons. So wanted to this week, but just didn't make sense to.

Off I go again. DH isn't back yet. He was going to talk to my dad and make sure things were sinking in about caring for himself at home. We'll see!

Just baked some huge football shaped peanut butter cookies. To be frosted w/chocolate frosting and then some white for the roping on the football!

It's not a sale. You have to register with ulta so you get their email or mail coupons.

Hey all. got everything on my list done except dusting and changing my sheets. That could still happen.

Made slutty cheesecake Oreo bars. They look amazing!!! Had to make a recipe of toll house cookie dough to go on the bottom. So.... We will have cookies too!

R - I saw the footballs on FB! Too cute!

it was 57 here...wow does it feel balmy! LOL Last year I would have been freezing. After the January we have had 57 now feels warm! Although, I am still covering up with 2 blankets whenever I sit! We are now keeping the heat lower and I will say I am COLD if I sit. We still had icy snow on back steps today until about 4pm.

Joyce, it sounds like you have had a good day!

Hiya Edith!!! Wishing you well with all the studying!

Lee, As pretty as it is.....I am kind of glad it's YOU enjoying a snowy day and not me!!!

Hiya to all. I have to get up....my mind has just gone blank!

bummer...Looks like my steamer just died. I was cleaning it and it stopped working. We make rice at least once a week. Will have to see if Steve thinks he can fix it or I need to go buy a new one. Sigh
