Bad night. Way too much caffein and sugar yesterday. I was wide awak until 2:30. At least I slept or stayed in bed until 9.

But, on with my day.
Coffee has been had
Breakfast? I wanted a smoothie but Z is napping as he had a bad night also. So I guess yogurt.
Vacuumed last night as we broke some glass.
I need to spend time in master bedroom and bathroom! Rescue mission!
Decided to tape down card fronts and stamp a sentiment later and add a newsletter on separate paper.

We had quite the conversation in grammar today about how punctuation is used incorrectly. They were complaining that the textbook was "not up to-date"...

The following sentence was listed as incorrect...

It.is.not.fair.

I told them I knew of a few people that would agree with them! But, for the sake of this grammar, we were going with the book!

Morning all. I've missed a ton so I'll just jump in here. I can't seem to get oriented after having hives the other day. Perhaps they went to my brain? (Cue hilarious smiley from Lee here!!) I can't even seem to concentrate to make a list. I am "Off-Kilter" like krapoppa!!

So I'm off to do the next thing. Which might be... ?????

Good afternoon ladies. I've been trying to catch up with everyone and I'm still 5 1/2 pages behind so I've just decided that I'm just going to work on today and wish everyone well with whatever is going on in their lives. I know some are hurting for one reason or another and some are missing their children while others are dreading their moving away. Some are excited about the heat while others are wishing for snow (I'm only wishing for snow this winter and only then a REALLY good one so it kills all the bugs back some they goes away). Some are excited about school starting or at least their children are and others are working hard because school has started. (Paula - what wonderful advise you gave your little one) Some are busers while others are carers or walkers (we do not have neighborhood schools any more so it is difficult for our kids to walk to school as I did with some of my schools) Some have children far away or who are thinking of moving far away. Some have always lived near home (I've lived all over starting in NC and as far west as NM & CO and north as VA and south as GA but I always seem to come back to NC). I hope Mr G is recovering better and hope the anxiety, which is quite normal for major surgeries, goes away soon for him.

So for me today, I'll read back through today's posts and go from there.

Cher, I have checked it and cleaned it and did everything I could find online. I think 6 years its its useful life span. I don't want to pay a repair person to come when I really would like one that will accommodate my pans better. Both is is a very basic model that came with the house when we built.

Hey y'all! Home. Fillings weren't so bad, but I'm very glad I had the nitrous. I made it to Joann's this morning, but not early enough and the cutting line was long. Didn't go to ulta or Starbucks so maybe Sunday. I'm numb and tired. The kids had a fun time with Jeff. Archer had a good day at school. I don't need a root canal. Calling it good.

Good evening!! Glad you got your dentist appointment over and done with, Paula. The dentist scares me.

We went off to Stephenville today to finish up the school shopping. The kids needed indoor sneakers and a few more school list items. All that is done now and I can relax. No more worrying that the first day will get here and they won't have their stuff. I couldn't get shoes for them in Port aux Basques...or shoes that were a decent price, anyway! I'm not a fan of spending $100 for shoes for feet that are still growing and may need a bigger pair in a couple of months!

Talking about feet...want to know how fast that kid of mine is growing? When Jarod started grade 5 last year we bought him size 6 in boys...then he needed a 7 in boys, then a 7 in mens and, before the school year was done we had to buy him a 8 in mens. We took him in today to try on his shoes and we had to get a 10 in mens!!! That is 5 sizes in one year!!!! I hope he slows down a bit...but since he is only 11 I don't think that will happen. I have a feeling he will be like my brother, who is 6 foot 6 inches and have size 16 shoes.

I really need to go make some more salsa...I think I am going to use pint jars this time instead of 1/2 pint jars...I can always use it when we have company cause otherwise it will go bad too quickly...only krapoppa eats it regularly.

The 66 pounds of pears will not be ready before Monday...and another batch of tomatoes probably then also...

Tomorrow I think I'll bake bread...and think of something to take to a pot blessing in case we go to one on Sunday...

They are about the same height too! Jarod also weights 110 pounds...that's what I weighed before I was pregnant with him.

It is crazy! I know how hard it is for my brother to get shoes...and I don't want Jarod to have to go through that. Its also hard to get clothes that is long enough.

I have a feeling he will be like my brother, who is 6 foot 6 inches and have size 16 shoes.
holy cow!

I know, right?!? If he keeps going like this I'll be broke! If anyone sees a 3-D cut file of shoes for the Silhouette, preferably DC's, you you let me know? I may have to start making them for him!
