I've gotten everything done I wanted to do here at my house. Now I have the rest of the weekend to work on the HRD stuff. My headache is much better. I'm not sure if it was the meds I took, the chicken dh brought home, the mini shoulder rub dh gave or the soaking bath but it's much better.

mmhmmm.... it's the yard that we were referring to today. As DD1 and I were out there, she was reminded of the song and played it... we lay on the grass and just laughed & laughed and laughed... not sure what we thought was so very funny but... it was good to know that today we could laugh

This is what part of our front yard now looks like:

OMG Edith! You do still have a bit let to do. Can you use a shovel and dig it up or scoop it up? Please tell me you're not pulling it up with your hands.

oh we're not pulling it all up by hand... we're using the spade and grass edger to cut and lift the sod and then hand tools to get as much of the dirt off the back of the sod pieces... It's just that the stuff has invaded quite a large chunk of my front yard - didn't realize how bad it was until last fall.... we've done the worst part... from here on there are only smaller patches and single spots... but still about another full day's work. Then we'll fill the gaps with soil, seed and maybe overseed the rest of the lawn. If this doesn't work, then I think I will seriously consider xeriscaping the front

Hopefully you'll be able to get it done in this last day. Looks like you've done a whole lot of work on it for sure. Glad you'fe not having to do it all by hand.

It sounds like you've got a plan. We will be working on our front yard come the fall. I just don't have the time to deal with it right now.

Lol, who wouldn't like an extra pair of faded jeans and a tight t-shirt!
My dh does the yard work and he has allergies something awful! I bought a ***** willow starter yesterday, so today he gets to dig the hole.

I'm only doing swap stuff today and relaxing. Maybe get some strawberry plants to plant.

Good morning ladies.

I need to work on the HRD stuff but I just can't seem to make myself get out of this chair to do anything.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Hi ladies! Just stopping by for a quick check in. I have my last final for the term on Tuesday, and classes (intersession term - 7 weeks) all day Monday, so today is my study day. Its in Accounting, so I'm not too worried. I still need to review the practical stuff and study the terms though.

I got my last accounting assignment back. I got 91%! The next highest mark to me was 63.

Anyway, off to study chapter 1!

we're having a restful day....

was to church early as I was on the worship team this morning; got a quick snuggle with B before having to play and then a chance after to hold her ... that just makes any day better

tonight I'll head back as a choir & orchestra are performing... it's always a wonderful evening when I get to listen to them so I'm looking forward to more renewal... here's a link to one of their songs... a sampling of the styles they perform ...

I just found out that one of my cousins (distant..but I still knew her) passed away. She was only 20 and they don't know what happened yet. The cops are still investigating...

That really took the wind out of my sails...

I am so sorry to hear this. Did she live alone? This is disturbing news.

I hope the investigation shows natural causes, anything else makes the death more difficult (that is experience talking).

Today's Mini Mission:

We are in the living room for 2 days, let's spend a few minutes putting away anything that doesn't belong in the living room.

Jane, its nice to see you. How are you feeling?

Kramomma, how is the dd feeling?

My dd started with sinus stuff. Left last night for Deleware to work this week. She works for an urgent care so she went in last night to be seen. They gave her a shot of prednisone and she is already feeling better this morning. Her allergies just real havoc on her this time of year.

I need the mini mission, I keep finding little girl things everywhere! Socks under the sofa, headbands in cupboards ect. It was a fun week, but nice to have the quiet mornings back.

Hi Cher, where are you this week?

Today
Sheets
Swish and swipe bathroom
Laundry. 3 loads I think
Kitchen routine
Mini mission
Craft room fun stuff

My morning is moving right along...

S&D
talked with Pink Snuggles of places where she could sell her harp CD that just came in the mail last week
emails
wrote notes
sorted laundry

Next:
start laundry
send one more email
get bread baking items out

Someone is actually coming to my house to learn to bake bread! This is quite funny considering it has taken me about 15-years to learn to bake bread!

Live background music is wonderful...

And allergies...I didn't quit taking my meds this winter...and right now all the mold is being exposed...horrible time of year for me...my left adrenal gland is quite swollen and sore...

Good morning yall!

Ah, it's great being back home! Especially with Zack here. the kids have kept the house so nice.

Oops Zack woke up so I went on duty. It's 3 hours later now. I've been out in the garden weeding. Plants are looking happy, except 2 of my cucumber plants died.

I will be on the mini mission after a bit here.

Done -

Emptied dishwasher - ran a cleaning agent through it
Reloaded dishwasher with breakfast stuff
Second load of laundry in the washer
Outside poo patrol and toy tidy up for mower guys
Painted with the kidlets
Gave DS2 a buzz cut

Not much I guess since I have been up since 5:45. I need to stop futzing on the computer.

I guess this is one of those weeks that has 2 zones again? I hate those. It mucks up my menu planning. Grrr.

Our expected weather this week.
M 81
T 84
We'd 84
Th 63 with rain???
F 72
S75

I'm looking forward to the cooler days. But that means the end of the week which is when the kiddos leave on their trip. They will be gone just over 3 weeks.
They close on their house on the 28. Can't get over it selling so fast!

Hi girls! We went to San Antonio for a birthday party Saturday afternoon, then dinnerwith friends in San Marcos - got to hold Bridget's baby! - and a pop in at the Pottery Barn/Williams Sonoma outlet for a couple of screaming deals, then met up with another friend yesterday.

An abnormal week here. To kick it off I got the kids donuts this morning.

Need to get a move on with today.

TDD:
Unload dishwasher, reload, start
Start a load of laundry
15 min picking up
