Good morning - I was awake at 6:40 this am after not being able to go to sleep last nigth until after 2 am. ARG!!!

We have another big meeting this morning at 10 ref the accreditation stuff. It is with our Accreditation Board Members who consist of College Faculty and Staff (several Deans of ...), the Asst. Co Manager, several reps from hospitals, a judge and some other folks. My boss seems to be wanting me to do most of the talking. I'm a little intimidated by it even though I know the materials to be covered.

I think that is why I couldn't get to sleep and woke up so early this am.

Hope y'all have a great Thursday. I'll catch up with yesterday (didn't get home until after 10:30pm and still had to do some work for today) and chat later.

Oh Donna, I'm sure you'll do great presenting. I hate sleepless nights.

The little ones Mom called last night at 9:30 to say good night. Bed time is not a good time to call , I think it made her a little home sick. She was fine, just a little cranky going to bed. She didn't know what she wanted.

Not a thing on the agenda today.

Kitchen routine
Laundry check.
Fridge still needs cleaned.
Dinner?

ashjoy...could you put...go to park on your list for today? Am sure little miss would enjoy that as a fun activity...and it is free...I hated indoor play areas for my kids otherwise I would suggest that as it too is free...unless the child gets strep throat as mine seemed to get...ick...

imthenoni...if you know the material consider it a compliment that you have been asked to share the information...better than the other person getting the information incorrect on such an important matter...and which is the college where you work? (tried to ask that without using a prepositional phrase at the end of the sentence!)

Pink Snuggles isn't herself...says she just doesn't feel right...uhm...this momma is praying it isn't her appendix...I always worry that when there is stomach issues without a reason...

Going to cancel my stamping date with a friend so that I can give any attention wanted from Pink Snuggles...they do grow up and then the sit in your lap and be held becomes just being in the house and available!

Today's Mini Mission:

Not my favorite job in this zone, but it needs to be done... Let's dust the master bedroom, including the baseboards.

Kra, we have outdoor playtime planned today with my nephew at my parents house. Hopefully it will wear her out by bedtime. She is still sleeping.

And good morning! My router is crabby today. Hoping the mood isn't contagious. I need to pay some bills today and I'd like to do the PTI blog hop (ya know, if I make something) so I also hope it gets cheerier or at least more cooperative.

Should definitely take some time to delutter. Somewhere, anywhere.

Oh and since I hemmed and hawed too long and then eventually forgot to order the pick your plum washi yesterday, I am officially in the black on Stamp to Spend. Until my next purchase, lol!

I'm pretty sure you can change it. I kinda hate to since I know Lydia has other things to do, but like I said, even Jeff said it needs to be different, lol!

There was no hemming and hawing from my side of the computer and I honestly can't tell you what was in the bundle...but I know whatever it is that got ordered cost me $14.99 and won't ship until May 3rd...uhm...do you think it will be here before May 7th? (I bought a few colors at Michael's yesterday, just in case it isn't!)

That's the date of my card making class...flyers were made yesterday...I need to take some to a couple of the senior citizen apartments here in our little town...and the librarian was putting some up at the library!

I can't believe I've been on here 5 years. It doesn't seem like its been that long.

Maybe PS just is coming down after final alas and all the studies, its odd to not have tons needing to be done.

That does seem like a long time to wait for shipping, wonder why it takes so long?

On pick your plum, the only time I've ordered I had it by the day they said it would be shipped. That said, I think the washi deals are *really* popular so it might take longer for this one.

Paula, I just got an email from Target Canada introducing their coupon portal and I read up on their coupon policy. I also had a look at a flyer...not for Newfoundland, since the stores are not open here yet, but I looked at one for Ontario...and I say the prices will be the same. I'm so excited! Good prices and I can double manufacturer coupons with Target coupons, which is AWESOME! I can't wait now!

Do you know if their stock will be pretty much the same as in the States? None of the stores are open here yet...

I'm not sure...I've never been to one in the US. Actually...the first and only time I was in the US I was 13!

I did find a flyer for an Ontario store here: Target Canada Weekly Flyer - Apr 26 to May 02

I'm assuming it will be the same stuff all over Canada...is this the same stuff as in the US?

So I went ahead and went to the college at 8:30 this morning and made some copies and other things to take with us to the meeting at 10. I had plenty of time to get it all done. The meeting went well and my boss had some compliments on all that had been done. It made me feel really good. Admittedly, I felt better after we got started.

The only bad things I can say is that 1 - I didn't make enough copies for everyone so I had to ask the Deans to let me send them copies & 2 - we went a bit longer than we had expected (thought maybe 45 minutes but ran an hour and 10 mintues). Took care of the 1st one as soon as I got back to the office.

I'm glad to have it behind me but we'll do it again in July.

I did go back to the office and got some more time in and a few more things done.

Thanks Kramamma, Joyce and Patricia for your confidence in me. I do know the information it's just the big wigs from the college along with some of the other folks there that we needed to impress. The school's medical director, a district court judge, the assistant county manager, the medical director for a neighboring county's EMS service and 2 or 3 hospital department heads - kinda made me a bit anxious.

Kramammo - glad you got the pie recipe - how did it turn out? Did the 92 year old like it? Did you have to use your runny middle saying? LOL

I like the decluttering as the kids move out. I have started doing that over the last year. DD2's things are mostly in the attic right now and DS still has a few things he will pick up in a couple of weeks. I have some other things that will be going with them.

I understand about giving things to the people who want them while you're alive. We had issues with that when my grandmother died. She had given me a rocking chair but I left it at her house - my mother gave it to my sister. There were many other things that went that way.

Hope Pink Snuggles is doing better tonight. Sounds like she might need to go do that horrible thing - the doctor. Hopefully it will be something little like a bug.

Lee - what a beautiful picture - I love the pinks and blues in it.

Joy - My 3.5 year old DGD1 sometimes takes a nap and other times she doesn't. We do ask her to have at least 30 minutes of quiet time even if she doesn't go to sleep. Sometimes they just need that quiet. Other times she'll still want NONI (that's me) to rock her. It is so sweet just to sit and rock her like when she was so little.

Patricia - You so deserve a lazy day after all the hard work you've put in for school over the past few weeks.

How cool a price for the shoes. I need to check that site out.

I have gotten precious little done around my house lately. I've spent all my time working on the accreditation and preparing for a class that did not make. I also have a new 3 day class I am to teach starting on May 1. I just got the info for it yesterday. My HRD boss designed the PowerPoint program but there are basically no notes with it so I have to figure out what she wants. So that will be my weekend.

I did water the trees and flowers again today. I'm trying to do those every other day to make sure I don't kill them this year.

Tomorrow is a Job Fair my HRD boss is hosting so we are, as her instructors, expected to be there. There goes 1/2 a day of work on her program as well.

I think the full moon is messing with my attitude. Hope no-one else is having the same issues. Better go get my shower, pick out my dressy clothes and hit the sack so I can be bright eye'd and bushy tailed in the am.

Good morning, I hear the little one stirring already so this will be a quick check in.

Donna, glad it went well. Fell better, I'm sure the lack of sleep is just catching up. You need a day to unwind.

I didn't even know Target had coupons. But I don't have a target. We do stop in one occasionally when we go to the mall.

Kramomma, that was nice of Krapoppa. Hope she is feeling better.

Today.
Laundry check
Kitchen routine
Will need a good windex ing once little one leaves
Pack up little one
Neurology appointment
Dinner with dh and quite time for us

I really can't wait for grand babies. But it is nice to send them home. I'm so routine oriented its crazy. I'm betting the little one has a touch of OCD after the week with me. For 2 days the sweeper has been out for after eating, the funniest part is, she loves to sweep up.

Have a great day!

Good morning y'all!

Feels like a long time since I checked in. Our Internet here is very slow!!! And our days have been very full. We are in Williamsburg Virginia. Dh is a history buff and could live here! Me I'm enjoying it, the weather has been good and everything is green and blooming. It's tulip time here and I do so love tulips.

Gonna try and catch up a bit.

Only made it to page 20 so far.
Patricia hope you do/did well on that exam!
Janeenk hope your weather is brightening up and lifting you out of your doldrums! You are missed here when you don't checking!!!

Everyone else, hope y'all are doing well! I really do miss you all and it makes me sad when this site is lonely! So, I will try and do better at checking in myself. Today is our last day here and tomorrow will be a long travel day. 3-4 hours to airport then sitting and waiting and hoping to get on a flight. I'm so ready to get home!!!

Kids sent me a video. Zack is almost crawling!!!
