Cher - have fun for all of us and then tell us about it so we can dream. I have never been to Epcot though my dh as. He and wife #1, I'm #2, went and he said he enjoyed everything except being with her. He said she whined about everything so that took some of the fun out of it. We're hoping to get to go in the next year or so.

Good morning!

Moving a little slow here this morning. DD1 got sick on Monday evening with fever and a very sore throat. DD2's runny nose & cough are back but she doesn't have fever. I took DD1 to the doctor yesterday and the strep test was negative so doctor thinks it's just viral. I started getting sick yesterday...sore throat, fever, and bad headaches just like DD1. Thankfully the baby is not sick and I'm hoping she stays healthy! So we haven't done much the last couple days other than taking care of kiddos and doing the baby's therapies.

Not feeling very well today but there are a few things that really need to be done. Going to work on a TDD for a bit.

I hope y'all have a great day!

TDD:
1. Wipe clean the table and counters
2. Sweep dining room & kitchen
3. Start laundry

So what's on the schedule for today?

There is a free health screening clinic today and I'm thinking about going. I'm not concerned about some of the things they will be checking but BMI (no I really don't want to know as I know I'm WAAAAYYYYYY over where I should be), bone density test (really interested in that one) and A1c are the 3 that most interests me. I can't remember about some of the others but a cholesterol test would be a good thing as well. Sooooo

I'm up
dressed
bed made
breakfast eaten
Not taking allergy meds now - don't know what the change has been but yeah for me

For the rest of the day -

-Get some paperwork ready for class tonight
-work on the syllabus of another class (they took 15 hours out and I have to rearrange the class work)
-Go to the health screening
-Go to college
-take garbage out - it's up just needs to go out (DH actually did this for a change)

-steam mop the floors
-clean the mirrors in the bathrooms
-fix dinner
-go to class

-work on more accreditation stuff - we're getting down to our self-imposed deadline

I think I'm going to start with the health screening to get that over with - maybe the line won't be too long now.

chat with you all later

Spent the last half hour rearranging stacks of cds and dvds in our beast of an unwanted entertainment center. Still have a stack of empty cases and a stack of caseless disks. Meh. Will be so excited when we can ditch that thing and find something that works for us.

Just got a call from one of the archery guys who is a storm chaser. He had told the boys earlier in the tornado season that if conditions looked right for this area, he'd take them out with him, if it was okay with us. Well, today is THE day. The conditions are looking like it is going to be a whopper of a tornado day in the state. My boys have gotten into high gear trying to get their stuff accomplished so they can go!!!

It's 10:15 so I should probably do something besides argue with my dvds and email back and forth with my husband about what the kids are grounded from today. Oh, and investigate the crazy prices of alphabet dies.

So. TDD:
Shower, dress
Start laundry
Unload, reload dishwasher

My pre-company list is finished and I even took my morning meds already so that we can eat lunch at noon rather than 30-minutes after I take them!

Now:
bake brownies (1/2 nuts, 1/2 no nuts)
make frosting (going overboard with this)
plan Red Bear's food selections for the next few days.

Scraperwannabe...NOOO...oh my...I don't know that I could say yes to that request...but...you are much braver than I...

imthenoni...on the internet you can find out your BMI but the others have to be done in person! And...now that you are a Flybaby you have learned to not whine so your husband should enjoy you very much!!!!

I best not press my luck and ask what day it is...but...I didn't have to figure that out earlier when writing inside a card...so...yes...I did notice someone is missing...

mrslaird...we didn't have DVDs when mine were little but oh the mess of the VHS boxes! Some are taped together and make me wonder how did I survive pre-FlyLady Living...

Chercher...you enjoy Disney...went there when I was 25 and never did enjoy myself...theme parks are not entertaining to me...

Razorback Fan...ick on the sickies...but glad it didn't happen until your returned from your weekend of fun!

Braver... I don't consider myself any braver than the next person. I want to educate my kids to have a healthy respect & not having a panic reaction to tornadoes. Learning about the different kinds of clouds, weather conditions, how to prepare & NOT panic! To keep a level head & NO DRAMA!

At least they can't be disappointed in their mother because she said yes!

Better that it be from boys going in and out rather than the wind!

Strange to see our children walking in our footsteps...and enjoying it...

Red Bear just headed out for the MN Home Education weekend to volunteer working with the sound system...I'd liked to have gone along just to walk through the exhibitor hall and see people we've known for 19 years...he will greet people for me!

Made 5 cards today...mostly the same layout, simple...no coloring, just stamping.

Heading to the stamp room again...Pink Snuggles is making supper for her and krapoppa...

Everest was fun. I'm kinda wimpy but I enjoyed it. I really like the safari.

Going as adults alone is so nice. We aren't rushing to get here there and everywhere. Stopping to just enjoy the moment. No mommy buy me this or that.... And cocktails without guilt!

Tomorrow magic kingdom. Going in late some can stay for the night stuff.im a little embarrassed to say we are doing Disney but ....we are enjoying it. They really made an amazing place here!

Saturday we are going to Maryland to clear everything else left on our boat. We will stay a couple of nights with friends then we are heading to the Williamsburg Virginia area.

I knew about the BMI thing online I did go to the health screening and found that it moved quite a bit quicker than I'd expected. I also found out that I was in better shape than I thought I was - woo hoo for me. Everything was well within normal limits except the bone mass index which was right on the good spot and my BMI was high but not nearly as high as I'd thought it might be. The biggest things I need to do is take more calcium & vit D, or take it on a regular basis, and do more exercise. I was happy with my numbers.

Last night I took the Dr Oz realage test and with the numbers I had from a year ago I am 2 years younger physically than I am on my driver's license. With these numbers I might be even younger. LOL

Obviously I didn't get everything done today but I did put a big dent in it. I'll add those other things to tomorrow's list. which will be

Tuesday's list -

-Morning routine

-Clean mirrors in bathrooms
-work on accreditation
-make cards for swap that is due really soon
-chiropractor appt with dd1 & girls at 10:45
-put clean clothes away
-fill out paperwork to recert my CPR instructor
-steam mop floors
-go to used book store for new books to read
-take my vits, et before bed (they make my tummy queezy if I take them earlier than that)

Hope everyone has a Terrific Thursday

IF the weather doesn't turn to sleet then I will meet krapoppa and bring Pink Snuggles home from her college test...otherwise she sits all day at his work place...

This morning I want to make a lovely card...(thanks Janeenk)...finish the grocery list, go to the bank for cash so I can grocery shop...

THEN...

Tonight...play...4 extra kids come tomorrow for the weekend so playing will not be happening...well...my type of play won't...

Today's the day, vacation is over. It's unreal how much dust builds up in 10 days. My entire house needs a major cleaning. And my washer smells funny. I ran white vinegar thru it hoping that helps. The having to clean the washer makes me dislike the front load, I never had odor problems with top loads.

Starting my day off cleaning the master bedroom.
Dust
Vacuum
Bathroom
Mirrors

Laundry 1 down, 1 to go

Downstairs
Dishwasher
Windex everything
Dust
Vacuum
Steam mop floors

Garden
I planted garlic, green onions, lettuce mix, carrots and hot peppers yesterday.
Trip to Home Depot 4-5" potted veggies are on sale 5 for 10, I should be able to get the remaining plants I want today.

How is everyone? I skimmed back over this page, but there has been a ton of chatter since I've been gone.

Misti, storm chasing sounds fun.

Donna, good for you! I've never seen the dr is test, but sounds interesting.

I loved Disney, only ever been there as an adult, several times and would go back, hopefully with grand kids.

My real age is 4.4 years younger, I would have never guessed that.

Morning! Hope everyone is having a good day so far! I can't believe Jeff is having eye surgery again tomorrow. The days are all blurring into each other. I need to see if I still have directions to Jen's house so I can drop the kids off in the morning. Wonder how early we'll have to leave? Probably 7ish? That'll be fun. But that's to worry about later.

Today I'd like to:
Mail Bridget's box and maybe Alyssa's
Get some cards in the mail
Make a card
Paint my nails
Take Archer to his class
Go to Goodwill
Target
Talk to Jen about tomorrow
Work in the guest room
Pizza for supper?
Pick up in the living room and our room

Sounds like you found the Dr Oz test - cool you're younger than you thought (or your body is anyway) Woo Hoo for you

Sounds like you were busy yesterday too with all your planting. I'm hoping to get my garden box up and running next week. Love the garlic idea - didn't think of that and we use a lot of garlic.

I also have a front load washer - I haven't had issues with smells since I started leaving the door open to it until it dried out. It doesn't have to be all the way open just enough to let air circulate into it. JAT & HIH
