I was picturing you removing fencing around a large property area in the country, are you in town?

We continue to have snow here and our tree delivery has been postponed by 2 weeks! UHM...Spring Snow...yep...we are having a lot of it...bummer that LuvLee chose that as her card idea...sure hope this doesn't last ALL month...
We live in the county but in a small sub division. For people to come in or go out of the back part of the area they have to come by our house. We don't have a huge lot but it is an acre so it's a bit.

Sorry you're still having snow but I sure don't miss it. I don't mind a snow once or so a year but I sure do not like it too often.

I still have a bit left to do like cuttign an edge around my trees & flower beds, I have a couple of places that I need to clean the leaves, etc away from so it looks a bit bettter. I've even thought about doing a square foot garden but I'm just not sure about it right now. Would the end of the month be too late to start the planting? Just not sure.

I have 7 LARGE Oaks and probably 10 other smaller trees in our yard. I need to trim some of the lower limbs of those back a bit and have that on the list to do, maybe, Tuesday. We also have 6-8 of our neighbor's large oaks hanging over our yard as well. I just want to figure out how to fix our yard from the places where it has erroded and grass won't grow. I'm thinking this will be my big project for this year, along with decluttering and streamlining my house.

First TDD:
Clean the table
Clean the long counter (small counter, stove top, big counter)

Almost finished writing the names of peppers and tomato plant names on plastic knives. Had to take a break as the smell is starting to give me a headache.

Starting my own little personal countdown...about 60 hours to go...

I got supper done and eaten. I will do the other two while Nick is playing in the bathtub. Instead of doing the other two when I said I would, I got the kids to tear up the newspaper into strips and I helped Nick start his compost. I wanted to get that done before dark...like it is right now! Anyways, off to get Nick in the tub and get the counter cleaned and the groceries put away!

I still have a couple more pages to read to catch up with everyone and hope to get that done tomorrow night. In the meantime - I hope you all have a wonderful beginning to your brand new week. After tomorrow my time will be a bit less hectic so I'll chat more with you all later.

Cool

Today's Mini Mission:

We are in the Bathroom + 1... Flylady suggests the Guest Room as the other one for this time. (I don't have a guest room, so that won't be my focus! )

I'm going to assume that you are cleaning your bathroom today in your Home Blessing Hour. So your mission for today is to look at your bathroom counter top... do you have anything that you can put away? It's so easy to look at items day after day & you get to the point where you don't even see them anymore.

Hello! I had such a fun day yesterday! My best friend here and I went to The Galleria (the biggest, fanciest mall in Houston) without the kids for 6 hours! It was for her birthday but it was definitely a gift for both of us. We had a great time and both really amped up our spring/summer wardrobes! Lunch at La Madeleines, grown up conversations, we only went in one kid store, Sephora freebies, and, of course, Starbucks. It's the first time in the 3 years we've been friends we've ever done anything without the kids.

Nothing much planned today. Some cleaning and I need to make both birthday and sympathy cards. I have 3 cousin birthdays and 2 uncle birthdays this week and then my step-grandfather passed away Saturday night. He's had Alzheimers for several years and lives out of state. We weren't close at all, but he was a very sweet man before he got sick. (And not sweet at all after that. He kept getting kicked out of housing because he would kick or hit his caretakers.)

Good morning!

We had a very fun weekend. Since we couldn't go to MN to visit the KRA's because of the bad weather, my parents kept Little Princess for us and we went to an 1880's theme park about 3 hours from here that we have season passes to. We had a blast riding roller coasters, hearing some good music, and just enjoyed lots of family fun time.

Hubby is home today so he is flying along with us. So far today, our morning routines have been done. We finished putting away everything from our trip. Hubby put clean sheets on our bed, swept the living room, and unloaded/reloaded the dishwasher. He's working on some outside projects now. I've got 2 loads of laundry in progress. LP had PT and is napping now. I'm doing school with DD1. I'm also going to work on a TDD.

Have a great day y'all!

TDD:
1. F/P laundry
2. Put clean sheets on girls' beds
3. Dust living room

Good evening!!!

Paula, your day sounded FABULOUS!! Just adult conversation with a best friend without hearing "MOMMY!!!" a million times is a treat now and then. But to get to go shopping too!!! AWESOME!!

I have been studying for a midterm all day...I have it tomorrow afternoon. I also need to read the next section of Accounting, which we have tomorrow. I'll get an hour or so during my break tomorrow to go to my mom's house and do one last review for my final. My plan is to check out the indoor track at the sports complex first. I would like to walk...but the thought of doing it in town...well...it don't appeal to me! The track may be what I am looking for...no cold wind, no rain, no fog, no passing cars, sounds good!!

I have another final on Wednesday, and an assignment on Friday. Possible TWO assignments on Friday, actually. Then there will be three Final next week and term 1 is done! Intersession starts the very next week so no break for me. We have Transcription and Accounting 2 during those 7 weeks. Then its summer break! Well...not really...I will have to look for work somewhere for those couple of months.

Supper time! Nick requested Kraft Dinner and wieners for supper during last weeks menu planning. Today's the day! He is one happy boy! Tomorrow I will be happy with the slow cooker roast and veggies.

I will be! Even busier in the intersession. That girl in the class that causes the problems...well...she had the bright idea to tell the accounting teacher that we should do the second part of accounting during the intersession. So, what took the other class 14 weeks to do, we will be doing it in 7! Needless to say, I felt like getting in a fight this morning! I was ready to throw the gloves off and haul the back of her shirt up over her head and plow her one! (Hockey talk!) Seriously, though. I'm not happy and neither are the other girls in the class. But, it can't be changed now. I just hope that girl realizes that if she is having problems now...in the 14 week course...she is going to have buckets of trouble when we have to do this one in 7 weeks. Accounting is coming pretty easy for me...so I'm not TOO worried...but I will be busy. And I REALLY hope that she don't ask me for help (which she do...A LOT!!!). I will not have time to help her and do my work too. I really think that she is going to regret this move....

Sounds fabulous! You deserve a day of fun!!!

Today's Mini Mission:

Check for expired items in your medicine cabinet. And don't forget to check the contents of the first aid kit. In some places, poison ivy, tick & bug bite season has arrived! Sunscreen also has a date on it.

Morning! Hope all the accountants are breathing a little easier today. I need to text my aunt and see how she's doing. She's a partner at her firm.

Not much planned today. Might try to get by the PO. Definitely need to do some cleaning and I'd like to do some decluttering. The kids are kind of restless so we might go to the park or something.

I need to make a list of things we're out of! Camphophenique (sp?), cortizone, tiny bandaids for fingers and toes, etc.

I've had an item that I've needed to follow up on for a month or so... I couldn't find part of the information, so I kept putting it off. It took less than 5 min from start to finish!
