Hi y'all!

Well, the weather kept us from being able to go to MN today. We are sad but hopefully we'll be able to go in May. Hubby didn't have any work scheduled for this week since we planned to be on vacation so he is home today. He stayed with DD1 & DD2 while I took the baby to speech/feeding therapy this morning. They are just enjoying a nice relaxing morning. Hubby and DD1 are building a new Lego set she got for her birthday. DD2 is having fun playing dress up. I got the baby down for a nap and now I'm getting ready to go run some errands. I'll be back later to do some flying.

Have a great day!

Cleaned in the front bathroom
Blown my nose a million times

I'm so tired I can't believe it. I have about 3 more hours on the taxes but they will wait until tomorrow.

I had the grands Tuesday night and until 1ish yesterday then class last night. I had already worked a bit on the taxes but with only 3 hours sleep I just couldn't keep my eyes opened so I went to bed. I've spent most of the day today working on them again. I did take 3 hours off to go teach part of a CPR cert class at one of the local high schools. Tomorrow I'll be hitting them again with a break around 1 to take paperwork to the college and go get 24 trees to plant on our property line. (That won't happen until next week sometime) Then back to finish up on the taxes. I think I have about another day's work to get them finished which will include the state taxes as well. I'll be so glad to have them out of the way. I'm using Turbo Tax and it looks like I'll probably e-file this year because it looks like the extra dh had taken out will lead to a refund this year for a change. WOO HOO!!!!

I know I have been seriously mia for the last week+ but I'll be back next week. on a more regular basis instead of just nightly without being able to read the posts.

Good night, girlies! I have spent my evening visiting that adorable new baby nephew of mine, reading accounting stuff (the instructor won't be there tomorrow so she put me in charge! EEK!), and chatting and having a laugh on Facebook with a girl in my class (the one that was being bullied by the mean girl in class). Now I REALLY need to go to sleep or I will not make it to school tomorrow.

Two hours into my day and all I've done is play in the stamp room and sewing room!

It's Friday Fun Day and that's what I'm doing...having fun...

The trees are gorgeous outside with thick snow...it should melt today.

Out of order!

That's been my day...the order in which I planned didn't happen...

I made 6 cards...talked to Kub...and have had fun...that's what today is all about...fun...

Now:
5-minute clean up (helps that I put away as I go because embellishments are within arms reach)
take morning meds (have 25 minutes left of morning)
bake 100 cookies

Hey peeps! Took the kids to a gymboree sponsored playdate this morning. Turned out profitable as Ezra won a free month of classes! Yay! Amelia got a bit of a nap and I made a card when we got home. About to eat some leftover pizza for lunch.

Hoping to get another couple of cards made and a little sewing done, but if it doesn't happen at least there was crafting.

TDD:
Lunch
Unload, reload the dishwasher, start if full
10 min kitchen clean up

Good morning y'all!

Busy busy busy! Zackster is keeping me busy.

I have a feeling immgonna be getting a lot of decluttering done with ddil here. I feel so guilty about my lack of space for them and some of their stuff. ddil is very good about clearing out clutter so I'm sure she is a bit appalled. Ur she would never say so.

Ok so I knew that my pantry was becoming a bit of a disaster but ........ Getting fixed
Laundry room was out of control but it's all better now.
I would get decluttered pretty fast except that dh and I are leaving for 2 weeks for vacation on Monday. But, I will get there and ddil says she will help.

Been working on the pantry. Made a lot of headway. Consolidated things that the kiddos had the same as me. Got their box unloaded and put into pantry. I may do more but I need a break.

Um, so I still haven't done the kitchen clean up. I did go outside with the kids and push them on the swings. I talked to a friend on the phone for a while. I had to rest after pushing them on the swings so I tried to lie down on the couch but that really didn't work out too well. Now the little two are in the bathtub more for fun than anything else. After they get out I'll see if I can manage that 10 min in the kitchen.

Took the Mustang to town for errands this afternoon...have to use the old gas before we can fill the tank...

Need to do a 5-minute rescue in the kitchen, then see if I can address a few more envelopes.

UPS brought my SU order...but the driver wasn't "Doug" but he gladly took "Doug's" cookies!

Paper needs to be put away and stamps used! Agenda for tonight...

Did you dress for the weather?

We are waiting for the temp to get a little warmer (it is currently 32 degrees) so that krapoppa can varnish in the garage today!

PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!

I finally go those freaking taxes done. I stayed up until 3:30 this morning trying to figure out what to do to fix the 1 error was that I had. I got up around 9:15 and started at it again, thinking I knew what to do to fix it and it wouldn't let me. DARN computer programs!!!!! I called my dd1 to see if she had any suggestions other than scrapping the whole thing and starting anew - she didn't. ARG I finally figured out the area the problem was in so I went back through it and re-entered everything there - WOO HOO that fixed it!!!!!

Now I have the accredation stuff to work on for another meeting on Monday afternoon. In the meantime I have a house that hasn't been touched all week and a friend gave me 40 pine trees to plant around my back property line. And mulch is on sale 2cu ft bags (easy for me to handle) for 4/$10 so I'm getting ready to head back & get some more. I got 4 yesterday to see how far they would go - not too far so I'm taking our Blazer (after I clean dh'
s stuff out again) and going to get $30 more.

But Hallejula those taxes are ready to e-file or send in the mail - refund on state - efile and pay fed - mail those suckers. LOL

Hope you all are having a great day.

Thanks Cher! It really feels good to have that much behind me. Now getting it to print is making me ill but I'll attack that tomorrow.

Today DD1, DSIL & I took down almost 100 ft of chain link fence, poles, posts, etc. We had plans to move it to the back of our property but DSIL had the good since to talk us out of it. I started right after posting I'd finished the taxes - he got here about 12:15 and we got all the fence down by the time DD1 go there. She helped get the parts rolled up and the poles/posts pulled/dug up and set to a side for selling or otherwise getting rid of. By then it was 3:30 and I had to start dinner for dh could eat with us, he had to leave for work by 5:15. DD1 & DSIL planted teh 40 pine trees while I cooked. Fortunately he had a gas powered auger so the holes were much easier & faster. He also dug another hole for me for another plant I will be planting next week or so.

Yesterday/last night I spread 4- 2cu ft bags of mulch. Today DD1 & I stread another 20 bags and I need to get 4 more (Lowes has them for 4/$10 woo hoo). We also used 2 bags of top soil to fill in the holes left by the posts so noone would get hurt. It was, I have to admit, funny to watch people look at us as if we were some kind of strange people doing all of it. Maybe it's because we haven't done it in several years.

I am totally exhausted and even after a soaking bath with epsom salts & baking soda I am still hurting so it is getting ready to be bed-time for me. Bright me didn't think of sun screen so my forehead is burnt as well as my lower arms. No idea what I must have been thinking. The dishes will be waiting for me come the morning when I hope I can lift my arms. LOL

Rest well everyone & Cher hope DS's house sells really fast.

Makes me think of The Little Red Hen
story that I read long, long ago to my children...and actually just re-read when I was in IA visiting a friend!

I was picturing you removing fencing around a large property area in the country, are you in town?

We continue to have snow here and our tree delivery has been postponed by 2 weeks! UHM...Spring Snow...yep...we are having a lot of it...bummer that LuvLee chose that as her card idea...sure hope this doesn't last ALL month...

I thought I would miss snow terribly when we moved here. And, I did for the first 2 years but now I don't miss it at all! If I really want to see it I'll take a trip.

Hope your weather warms up soon!

Good morning y'all.

Couldn't slepp. Been awake since 6. Having coffee and watching a deer at our feeder.

Zack is still asleep. I'm poised to grab him when he wakes. Poor ddil is having terrible reaction to oak allergies. Ds is so bad he had to go to doctor. His throat was swelling up and he had a fever from allergies! And of course we have hundres probably thousands of oak tress on our property.
