Yeah. That's the set I have. But see that punch? There is a smaller ticket above the larger ticket but no smaller ticket in the stamp set. So I wondered why they put the smaller ticket on the punch just to get in the way when I am punching!
Afternoon everyone, had a lovely sunny day but forecast rain tomorrow so if I feel up to it we will go to ikea! I still need one more drawer unit for my craft room.
I haven't been up there today as I'm still coughing and snuffling! Steve has been making me honey and hot lemon with crushed paracetamol all day, he's very good at ministering to the sick and pathetic.
Sorry you are feeling under the weather Jan! Get better soon. For Chroistmas the year, as I have mentioned before, I got lots of tea. One of the teas was called Gail's cold remedy and had green tea, lemongrass, licorice root and lemon myrtle. On the package it states that if you are really desperate, you should add garlic, which I did and it really worked. It didn't even taste all that bad.
Doesn't sound good but if it works its worth trying, I love licorice, I had a massive box sent from Joey and Charlie for my birthday last October, I been rationing myself as I could eat a whole bag in one sitting.
I was hoping to drive to Toronto to visit with my DD today, but seeing as I ran into a couple of white-outs on my way to and from church, I have changed my mind. I'll stay inside, read a good book and maybe do a bit of crafting.
We woke up to rain so we didn't get our walk, steve has been off to football on his own as I thought I'd be better staying in the warm as I'm still sniffing and coughing. I have to get out tomorrow else I will go stir crazy, I haven't been out since Friday with not feeling well and no crafting either as my room is on the solerium and doesn't have any heating.
It is gorgeous and should get to the 60s here, not normal! But I am going to do what Ina said; read a good book or even better, nap. I am fighting a cold. I have been taking Airborne, and don't think I am as sick as I would be without it, even went to church.
( where everyone was coughing like crazy.)
Have a good one!
sorry to hear you have it too Sharon, I've been watching the craft channel while steve was out, I don't normally, they were showing the new Brother scan and cut machine that doesn't need a computer, ONLY £399, thought I might order two, lol, they talk as if it's peanuts.
Well...I survived...I took Kerra out again...just wish she would use a litter box on a windy day like today...but she loves it out there...she is so low to the ground the wind dow not knock her over. - 3 and winds 48 kph
but it's the gust that just tip you over...so glad I got the new coat on clearance...it cuts the wind really well...not if I was in a hockey rink i might get cold but just a quick walk for Kerra and I am ok.
I made chicken and brussell sprouts. I love brussell sprouts but DH hates them. The cashier at the Chinese food place told me yesterday that someone came in the other day and ordered chicken and broccoli without the broccoli! LOL
I made a lentil soup yesterday. I followed the recipe exactly and ended up with a huge pot full........probably enough for a family of 20! I now have two large yogurt containers in the freezer, one given away and I've been eating soup all day! More left for tomorrow!
Took kitty to the vet for his annual checkup and now he is mad at me! She gave him two shots and put him on a diet! He was nearly 20 lbs! We had a different Dr. Today. She really looked him over good and gave me good advice. He cried the minute we got in the car. Only stopped a little while she looked him over and then cried all the way home.I just know he is going to be waking me each night wanting a snack!
Ok a tale of grumpy...been having a hard time lately...so he came over and cleaned up and organized my kitchen...got me groceries...then called me silly...the speakers did not work cause thepower was off! I checked the one i could see...not the other one
I've been having lessons on how to work the new tv, well we have had it for three months and it's not something I'm too interested in, steve usually has the zappers, he said, how come you go on the computer and zip along the keys, fiddle about and cut things out with that machine ( cricut) and yet you can't turn he tv on? I wonder why when we used to have three men in the house, they used to joke that I could be in charge of the remote if the dog didn't want them, he was male too. Now our DIL has the same problem.
I'm technically challenged too Jan, and I don't even have any men in the house. When our television signal went digital in September of 2012, I decided I would not spend the $100 to get a box to accommodate it, and have not had TV reception since and I don't miss it most of the time. I do enjoy reading, so that takes up most of my evenings when I am not crafting.
