good evening....mmmuuuhhhaaa

Ok..I am officially off my rocker! It's sitting in the corner waiting for me.

The baseboards are in the house...the painters come tomorrow...no joy on closet doors..nothing accomplished at home except for some hand-washing...not used to having a washing machine and saving up for a load

Now ,,,interesting turn of events...you all know I am old...one of the reasons for the big move is to get me somewhere accessible that has no stairs to fall down.....well...looks like I will be a part-time Kerra mommy....yup...grumpy will care for Kerra during thew week so she can get her walks...I will have her on weekends while grumpy works 12 hour shifts...soo....you guessed it...I just walked Kerra! UUUGGGHHH I need to take the car next time..I am way too old for this! Marion...stop laughing!

Wow! I know how you feel! I have been a single mom all of grumpys life...technically the sperm donor was there for the first 8 years (his father...my husband)...but in reality...I was on my own. While I was preggers I made all of grumpys clothing! Yup..had a garden and grew his veggies...yup...but...the little mite! he would go out in the garden and steal the veggies off the vine...pull carrots up and eat them like that!

I am soooo sleepy. Doc gave me another, yes I said another, med to try but the downside is drowsiness. Funny, though, last night I was awake on and off all night. I guess it only makes me drowsy in the daytime!

Vickie will be posting the challenge for the coming week. Can't wait to see what she has for us. I did another box....I guess I should upload, duh? I know I don't get points, but it is still so much fun playing along!

I have one for this past week .... finally!

EASTER BASKET BOX

I was going to do three different ones with matching cards. Ideas I saved from years ago when I was a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. So, I set aside a big block of stamping time on Saturday. My DH and kids were all supportive and they were going to take care of their own dinner. I was all set!

Until .... our DS in college texted me late in the afternoon that he was coming home for dinner. I hadn't seen him in weeks, so I couldn't miss this chance. Big sigh. Stamping had to wait. The best laid plans .....

Great challenge! I wish I could have made more. Hope you like this one.

You don't get points but you do get your name entered for each time you complete and post a challenge picture. Maybe you will be lucky enough to win again this week.

I was married to my first husband for 3 years, my son was four months old when I left, I was on my own from then on in. I have always worked, sometimes two and three different jobs. I even started hunting so I could afford to put meat on the table and we fished all the time.

Yup my life has really changed since those days.

I can so see doing that Dea...but I am allergic to fish...grumpy isn't and perch is easy to catch...vacations were always camping so you could camp for a week on $20! I think moms have a rough time...even now with me moving out on my own and grumpy is 23...I am still making shepards pie for 6 and freezing it when gound beef is on sale! I guess you can't take the mom out of the Lynn

And, I will post my Triple Stamping card and a picture of the prize I'm offering to enter those who complete a gallery upload for this challenge, as a random drawing next Sunday.

Here's a picture of my Triple Stamping card (I will upload to the YCDI10 gallery in the morning).

Oops! I haven't taken a picture of the "prize" yet; will do that later tonight or in the morning.

I still have to get my gift box done...haven't had time. I just got done writing my review for work as it's due tomorrow & I had a week to do it, my annual review is Thursday so we shall see. Maybe I'll work on something in a bit, although it's 11:00 already.

Great challenge Vicki.

Paola, I was so excited to see what you did with the toilet paper roll!! ADORABLE! And to answer your question, yes I could see her card, but it was a thumbnail version. The large picture was image pending, but I can see a thumbnail underneath that! I will go back and see the larger picture now and I will also update the points post.

Good morning!

I LOVE beading! But, I don't create jewelry bead projects; mainly, stick pins and beaded letter openers!! I created this letter opener and gift box to give to a person who's name is randomly drawn next Monday morning from those who participate in the Triple Stamping Challenge! The more times you post a Triple Stampiing card using keyword YCDI10, the more you will be entered into the drawing.

Great, great, great challenge!

Ooo, lovely prize!

Vicky and Kathy ~ do tell ... how did you cut your stamped layer into three pieces? Did you use one of those fancy cutting machines?

I am challenged this week. I haven't done this technique before and I'm trying to figure out how to cut the layers into rectangles without a cutting machine.

You both made very lovely cards. Thanks for the samples.

Good question, Diane.

Here are the measurements I used:
Cardbase is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
White cardstock to be stamped:
4 x 5 1/4
3 x 4 1/4
2 x 3 1/4
The white cardstock is layered together and stamped.
Then, take those layers apart and adhere:
the 4 x 5 1/4 is layered onto the cardbase
The 3 x 4 1/4 is layered onto a 3 1/4 x 4 1/2 panel
The 2 x 3 1/4 is layered onto a 2 1/4 x 3 /12 panel
To complete the card, when you have the white panels layered onto the cardstock panels, besure to line up the stamped images and adhere the panels down!

Hope that makes sense.

Vickie has great instructions...you just layer the white cardstock with largest on bottom. I use a repositionable tape so it doesn't move when stamping. After you stamp, you put those stamped pieces on corresponding layers, with largest piece using the base as it's background. I have another to post. I very much would love to win that letter opener!!!!!!

Marion, it seems everyone wants something done, but no one wants to do it! It's like the chicken little story. No one wants to plant the seed, water the garden, cut the wheat, make it into flour and bake the bread, but they ALL want to eat the bread!

Ooooo, I thought you had done your stamping first (it matches up so perfectly) and then you cut it apart. I get it now! It takes me longer than most.

Thanks for all the measurements. It does help. This will be fun! Thanks!

Hope to have some fun today. If not, later in the week. Tomorrow I'm in a speech competition, so I will need to practice for that. Plus the household chores. Also, waiting for a donation truck.

Thanks again Vickie. We should see some fabulous cards this week!!

Diane, when you mention speech competition, are you a member of Toastmasters?
