Well Connie - looks like I'll be digging through your stash soon!! It's a great challenge & I can't wait to learn how!
There's a lot of great tutorials online like Dea says. The one I made, I just used my punch, adhered them together on a piece of cs then cut out to whatever shape you want. Easy peasy. You can come over anytime.
Great cards Dea and Kathy.... Hope to get to mine this aft..

Grrrr.. so wish me whatever it is I will need.. lol.... I thought I was done with all that decision making stuff.!! So.. I will have to suck it up and get over it... I know it is so hard to get people to do it...sooooo sucker!!!!! Lol I will be fine just had to get that out of my system.. see you all later......
Great job Connie! All of my siggy links should be accurate. Let me know if you see something is wrong. And ladies, don't be discouraged if you have low points at the moment. Just come in and play when you can. There will be occasional times to earn extra points, so keep those great cards coming!!!
Kathy ~ All the links look right to me. Thank you for having the links in your siggy. It helps!! I appreciate you! You're cool.

What the heck \same post is showing twice... Tried to edit and cancel but nothing happened so far.. whatever.. I was just complaining anyway.. so ignore me for awhile..lol
That's funny Marion because you must've clicked on submit twice.
We were just talking in Sunday School the other day about if each one of us would do just one thing, then no one would get stuck doing everything. Then there wouldn't be such burn out in ourselves.
Thanks Diane for the encouragement and letting me know the links work because I forgot to go in and test them out!
Thanks Connie and Dea for the lovin' on my card. I am going to make another! That was fun. I wonder if I could come up with my own design and not CASE one?? It may take longer, but I am going to give it a try!
The pattern for my card is very simple. You need 24 - 1/2" squares, eight of the 1/2" squares need to be cut in half so you end up with 16 triangles.
Next cut four 1.5" squares.
Now glue a 1/2" square into each corner of the 1 1/2" square lining up the edges.
Now glue your trianges in between the squares. You will see that the triangle is to large to fit between the squares. It is supposed to be that way, fit the triangle so there is no overlap on the squares but the end hangs out over the large square. Cut this away.
I then made three more of the 1 1/2" squares, lined them up and started layering them with the different papers. I decided it needed more so I added the creamed colour square into the centre and then I added the bow and pin.
The card I made was with 3/4 squares but that made the card way to large so I made an easel card out of it so it would not look so big.
Oh! I have a fun idea...maybe...anyways.
DH's surgery went well...but I'm behind on my Monday house cleaning stuff. and I"m so tired. Just thought I'd peek into the challenge to get me motivated to finish up the kitchen floor and start dinner!
I am so happy the surgery went well. Prayers that DH heels quickly and is feeling better soon.

Kathy I love your card, the pattern is so versatile.

OMgosh!!! I can't believe we did the same pattern!!! I didn't have any instructions so I glued each piece step by step to graph paper and then cut down to size and ran through the Big Shot with D'vine Swirls embossing folder....I used paper from the Cafe Mediterranean paper stack from DCWV.
I didn't use a pattern either I just cut and layered as I went. I did a little trimming at the end because I wanted to show some layering. This was a very quick and easy pattern, plus I used pieces left over from my first card. I highly recommend this pattern for those that have never quilted before, you can see by Kathy and my card that they can be very differently embellished.

Good Morning ladies! It is snowing lightly here. I need to get my shower because I am taking my mom to an appt. around noon. So I will run through the threads now and be back later this afternoon.
Glad I already posted that last quilt card because DH came home from work and said he needed a birthday card and when he saw that, asked if he could have that one!
Morning ladies....I need to be beaten with a wet noodle for not being on here as much as I like. I just wish my body would let me play!
