Kathy ~ Cute cards from your stamping class! I really like the ones with hearts! It's great that you're using them for birthdays. Remember I like hearts in August, kay?
Speaking of birthdays, yea I realized later that Dawn and I have the same birthday, but I wasn't going to say anything because then I look silly (more than usual).
Dawn ~ It's my half birthday today, too! How about that! I hope your day was marvelous and that you were able to get in some stamping time! Whatever you did, hope it was fun and made you feel special.
I didn't stamp, but I did clean up my craft table and get a little organized so that I'm already for the new You Can Do It challenge tomorrow!
I will probably log off early tonight. I didn't sleep well last night, so I think I am going to try and make up for it tonight! I will come back in here in the morning and read to see if anyone else comleted the challenge and to see if Connie has posted her new challenge. I will do all the updates Monday morning sometime. Have a good night.

Dawn 40,s are beautiful. I loved my forties so much better than my thirties. Yesterday I celebrated my last fortieth birthday. In one year I will celebrate and move to my fifties and I am truly excited.
YOU CAN DO IT CHALLENGE
Well this is my first ever to host a challenge. My 1st passion is QUILTING besides stamping. I would like to see a lot of QUILTED cards, it could be any kind patchwork or pressed flowers that look like a quilt by using your embossing folders. You can do faux stitching or sewing machine stitching. Looking forward to seeing everyone's QUILTED cards. Enjoy!!!!!! Please used the Keyword as YCDI5
I went to a movie with my husband and then we had dinner together. Yesterday we had friends and family over for dinner, brought in Chinese food, had cake and wTched the game.
Great challenge Connie, I have never done anything like this. I have a vacation day today so off I go to see what I come up with. Thanks again for hosting this week.
Connie, I love quilt cards! They are among my favorite to make. I have two here I just did not too long ago, but I won't use those as I want to make another one!! I will begin to update the challenge stuff now. I will start with the link to your challenge. If anyone sees a mistake somewhere please let me know. (By the way, Connie, did you post that card in your gallery too? That will help as I begin the link to the gallery. Be back in a minute....

Good morning!
Great challenge Connie! Will work on it this evening. I have a doctor's appointment today so will be gone most of the day (just my 6 month BR CA followup)
Great job Connie! All of my siggy links should be accurate. Let me know if you see something is wrong. And ladies, don't be discouraged if you have low points at the moment. Just come in and play when you can. There will be occasional times to earn extra points, so keep those great cards coming!!!

Connie great challenge idea....I just sold the last of my quilting supplies on Friday!! eeeekkk...No it was too much for me to do a bed quilt so I will only do table runners and such from now on.
Morning everyone...have a great day...grumpy and I are dropping stuff off at goodwill and looking for some simple things for the kitchen. He is going to help me pack the kitchen this week. He wants to try out the stuff he bought for his place and see what is missing...OH as long as I still do all the cooking...ain't he sweet!

I don't think I could ever give my quilting stuff, although I did sell my quilt machine about 5 years ago, I had no place for it. I may get into a slow period where I won't sew anything but I will always have my sewing hobby.
Well Connie if you ever feel the need to come to Ottawa, Ontario, let me know please, I could use some lessons with Quilting. I made a small quilt about ten years ago and hated the way it turned out so I never finished it.
Here's my quilting card! I edited the photo to say I used a Damask embossing folder by Darice, but the edit may take a little so I thought I would let you know here.
