Pick an accent colour from your room...paint it but still allow your pretty envies to show! That way it will change as the mailing change....now put a reminder in your calendar....paint it...then once dry use it...then a reminder to take them all to the PO
Hey Lynn, that's not a bad idea. Remove everything from my craft room (my husband would have a heart attack) and start all over again. Naaaa, i still wouldn't be able to organize it right. I really need a professional. Too bad I can't afford one.
YUP you need a professional...I hear there is a good craft program at the looney bin...they keep kicking me out...they say I am disruptive...something about colouring outside the lines and onto the walls! LOLOLOL
Angie, Angie, Angie....when I go to my next SU party, you'll be invited so we can go together. I told you that already silly one. That's what's in my wooden bookcase in my dining room, all SU sets in their plastic cases.

SCS has someplace on here that you can look up some of those abbreviations. It took me a while to figure out DD was dear daughter and NOT Dunkin Donuts! IF you see DD in any of my posts it means Dunkin Donuts!!

You ladies have been a chatty little group! I told my DH that when we or if get our tax money back, I'm buying all 4 new sets of the SU ink pads & not even the mini's.
I love how everyone is fighting over me! Especially when it's something I love to do. Donna, you are only a little further west so I could come on out when I get Vickie organized. I am saving time for Lynn, but I have to wait until she moves into that empty new world!! That would be so much fun, to start from scratch and build as you move in!
Lynn, as you move in, start with the furniture placed in the best spots according to how you will use them. Then work from the floor to the ceiling. I put stuff on the top shelf that I don't need everyday. What I want in front of me is this: craft table space, cutter/trimmer, scoreboard, adhesives. All the stuff I grab first. My new envelope punch board will be there also, when it arrives!! (Ok, Kathy, stop thinking about that. You're drooling all over the keyboard!)
I am going to take my parents to an appt and to get their oil changed so I will be away some today. Keep up the chatter and work on those cards. So far I have points for Angie, Dawn, Paola, Connie, Dea and Vickie. Have I missed anyone?

OK. I finally had to make a status on my FB wall yesterday that Connie's Shop is closed. I got bombarded with requests from several people to make things in bulk. Goodness they know I work full time, have kids & a life. One person wants 100 cards to have a purse theme, my sister's Zumba instructor wants 125 tote bags (unlined), plus my neighbor asked me to sew on 85 patches on his friend's uniforms....keep in mind that everyone wants this done by Feb 17th. Really??
Connie, I must check out your FB account Wow they are asking alot from you. Are you going to do them? Do you make alot of things in bulk? Not me, too much for me to handle.

Had to check out Connie's FB page; saw some gorgeous totebags. Connie, you are an allaround crafter, and, you are very crafty with the sewing machine. I can't sew a stitch and am always in awe of those who can!

Hello everyone, resting in bed today, hahahaha Jammies day!!! Lauren is not well, the doctor gave her antibiotics and said to rest, so I am doing as I am told, NOT!!

I know, I do Stress a lot especially during my month end times at work. I will not be doing those things, I can't. My sister asked me instead of 125 bags, maybe 50, it's still a lot of time for me. I'm making Angie's mom & dad a quilt, I would like to get done by her mom's birthday on Feb 15 & present to her at the bar since Angie's dad will be singing that night with his band. I'm making it as a gift to them.
I don't mind making things for people, they have to give me more of a lead time. The 2 wks thingy doesn't work for me.
Lauren get better soon.... we miss you and your chatter.. etc etc and of course your wisdom!!!!
Connie- good for you.... I thunk some people think when uyou craft things , you should be able to just whp them up.. not realizing the time involved.. Hope you get your Quilt done.. Am now going to look at your blog...
I am changing some things around in my craft room and that creates a grreater mess at the beginning.. But hopefully will work better when done..
