Bad leg day. Had to use my new cane. I went all day with pain until it finally dawned on me. I could take some pain meds! Duh! I don't take it often so I just forgot all about it! Maybe that will help me some. My doctors appt. is Thursday finally! Been waiting four weeks. I have no appetite so DH is going for Chinese...
well Lynn went out to get water...and came back a tired old mom...going to get something to drink then I will do chatterbox
My bad! I totally forgot chatterbox points!
Well my outside kitty is limping again. I'm afraid to look to see why! He only has about two lives left at this point. I saw blood on the railing and steps this morning. I think he hurt himself when he jumped down off the roof. Yes I said roof. Not sure why he likes it up there.
OK ladies - you make me think of when my mom used a cane. I said I would stamp something on tissue paper, color it with Prismacolor pencils, & use Modge Podge over it after we put it on the cane. She refused to let me do that!!
I bet you will decorate your canes!!
Janet has won this week's chatterbox points!!!! YYYEEEAAAAHHH...as the winner you get to come and decorate my cane...LOLOL
By the way, Connie is up for May 6, Lynn (muzbysmom) is up for May 13, Lynn (FMcrafter) May 20 but then no one is scheduled after that....so anyone wishing to pick a date, now's the time!! Post in the thread here so other's can see what dates are being taken....
REMINDER: Besides the points winner at the end of the challenge, I am also having a drawing for another prize at the end. Everyone who has participated in at least five challenges here will be entered to win. There may be other ways to get a prize too! For instance, I have just decided that whoever has completed every challenge as we go will get a prize. So far Marian and Vickie are still in the running for a prize. Marian has completed each challenge to date and Vickie only missed week 12, but she did a card to catch up the next week so she's still in too.....so keep it up ladies and a prize will be yours at the end too! Still thinking of other ways to earn a prize, so please keep playing!! You never know if you might just end up with something!!
I forget, is there an "end" date for the challenges???
I think Lynn's plan was for 25 weeks. Not sure if that is still the plan or not. We can ask her when she wakes up! (If she ever got to sleep) Now I really am logging off for the night! Yeah, right......goodnight grandpa.
WOW! Long day. Spent the majority of the day on the Harley in the mountains with Angie & friends. Came home, relaxed a bit then went grocery shopping. The girls went swimming all day. I just took my boots off, wondering if I should make a card tonight. Going to check out the challenge.
Just uploaded my blog with the YCDI16 challenge...
Had nothing but trouble: first, camera batteries were dead, then could not find gthe cable to transfer pict into my laptop!! Finally done that at 11:30 pm my time...then blogged....
I want to rewind to last Friday!!!Already ired and it's not even Monday!!
Too much is happening, including much too much sadness...(
Links will be updated by 8:30 my time. It is currently 8:15.
Paola, so sorry to hear the word "sadness" in y0ur post. You are always so full of sunshine, so I hope that sun soon shines for you. I couldn't see your card with the link you posted, so I followed the blog link in your siggy. Adorable babies!
Lauren, you know I love that train card....WOW.
Connie, I miss my riding days, although we only had a Honda back then. My DS takes me when he has time, but he's on the road a lot and now with my back and leg issues, I couldn't climb on or sit anyway. A Harley in the mountains sounds like a great day!
Location: down the road, around the corner, first house on the left
Yes, Dea! Please tell us all about the CKC you attended! Did you take any classes; do any make and takes? I went to CKC Kansas City last October and am going to CKC Fort Wayne the end of May! I'm hooked!
Exhausting, but fun....yes it appears that there were many many many things that I needed to have, gelatos, heartfelt creations flower stamps and matching dies, washi tape, queen and co. Straws and goosebumps, more stamps than I will ever be able to use in a lifetime unless I quit work today and started stamping. The deals were amazing and I could not help myself. The US economy is in a better way because of my friends and I, more them than me but we had fun.. The girls I was with had never been to a hobby lobby, I was in class so they went on there own, two cart fulls later and a threatening phone call later for the introduction...the truck was overflowing. Seriously. Smash books and accessories are new to us as well, Sonia went google over the stuff, me not so much...I love the page kits so I got many of them.
All is unpacked and put away. My card for this weeks challenge is done. I think a nap is in order. We left at nine yesterday morning, we shopped all the way home, we got in at 10:30pm last night, bed by midnight and up at four. Yuppers I need a nap.

Heartfelt card classes - yes would do it again
Heartfelt page class - yes would do it again
SEI - teacher was new, regular teacher was sick, 12 page layout, two pages done. No ones fault. She needs practice teaching
Acrylic album class - yes I love the look and what you can do
Paper loft - definitely, love the album kit, instruction is awesome.
Kellers creations - not my type of scrapping, but my girlfriend loved it
Sprinkles and sparkles - the cards are cute, the kits are fabulous, there glitter is amazing.
Queen and company trunk class, I will save my money and fill my own box with the colours I want. The kit is smaller, still lots in it, but I can buy more from there store and get the colours I want for the same amount of money. Also, they were selling the trunks for twenty dollars at the end of the show. That was upsetting.
CKC booth has some amazing kits and this years tshirts are really cute.
Likitysplit page layout is awesome, class was great.
The crop on Friday was a disappointment the day of giveaways is not happening anymore. We were given a magazine and template photo copied on paper to mosaic a photo. Not worth the money, the draws were for small items and they drew about twenty names. 26.00 for a space at a table was way to much money. The vendors that brought in supplies to sell increased their price for the crop. The hotel let the ladies set up in the lobby at tables and crop for nothing.
These are my opinion only, and should not sway your thinking.
