Yay!!!! Ladies we did it again. We put smiles in Kim's mums heart. Kim sends a huge thank you to all that played last week. She said her mum is loving the cards. Remember...I'm keeping her as an "open destination" which means anytime you think of her...feel free to send her a card. If you need the address let me know.
Woooo Hooooo!!! It's Saturday which means time for a new song. Is everyone ready??? This one is going to bring out some awesome creations.
The song for this weeks musical challenge isChain Of Love by: Clay Walker. Here are some of the lyrics.
You don't owe me a thing; I've been there to
And someone once helped me out
Just the way I'm helping you
If you really want to pay me back
Here's what you do
Don't let the chain of love end with you
I truely need to find out if SCS would allow me to add a link so ya'll can listen to the song as well.
As far as this weeks destination. Please pm me for the address. I am asking that you consider sending your creations out to a person that has just gone above the call of duty as far as being there to help out others. This person is a vital link to the chain of love. I'm sorry I can't post who it is...it's a suprise.
Trust me, this person is going to LOVE receiving your creations. I will post the persons name once I know she/he has received some of the cards. So please...don't break the chain of love. Let's send out a ton of love.
Thank you so much for putting the link for the song up. I didn't know if SCS allowed us to put up links that weren't SCS links. I am guessing that it's ok for me to put a link up every week. That is awesome. Makes for a better challenge.
Also, I want to thank you for sharing your card. I love it. I really love the story that you wrote with it as well. Great work. If you should choose to mail it out to our card recipient ...it will be appreciated. Hugs
Lorraine, Thank you for your creation as well. And thank you for being the first to post your card. I love it. It definately shows the chain of love. Again, it will be much appreciated. I truely hope we shower our recipient with tons of cards. Hugs
Dani, what a great challenge. I didn't put any chain or links on the front of my card, but inside is a clipart picture of hundreds of chain links which depicts all the love and friendships formed over time. Here's [my card.
I know ya'll are wondering why Dani isn't using purple font. Well its because I am posting this for Bev Bishop. I have to find out her SCS name. Bev is having computer problems and can not upload her cards so I am doing it for her. This is what she said in her email about her creation:
Here is my DDMCCO2 card. In my opinion, this is the "ultimate Chain of Love"! I used the spotlight technique. The image is by Northwoods, stamped in Versafine Sepia, Cuttlebug and Spellbinders Labels, SU Circle Punch with Rubber Stamp Tapestry Sentiment, Offray ribbon and Brass Brads. SU c/s used.
Good Morning Folks, I hope everyone has a super Sunday. I myself am going to have a lazy day. It is my anniversary and since the hubby is not able to be here, I figured I would celebrate it by spending the day on SCS, stamping, and watching the Nascar race. hehe
BTW, beautiful cards lady. hehehe..Hugs to ya'll
" If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spread it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke. ~Brendan Frances~
Traci, your card is perfect. Thank you for joining in. Our recipient is going to love it!!
Ok all, I need some extra prayers...for two reasons; 1. My daughter just called and said she is taking her hubby to the ER because he can not see. He has glacoma...I hope it's nothing serious. 2. The same daughter, Desirae', has been in remission from bone marrow cancer for about a year. Well, she has to get all the tests done again. She is having the black bruising, tired all the time, and her bones ache. I am praying she bumped herself at work and doesn't remember and maybe she is working too much or maybe she has the flu. So please say an extra prayer or two. Hugs
Update: My son in law is going to be ok. He got a piece of steel in his eye and it was starting to rust. He has to put eyedrops in throughout tonight and then go to the eyedoctor in the morning.
Dani: So glad they found out what was wrong with your SIL. Continued prayer goes up for his speedy healing. Will also keep your DD in prayer. I know what it's like having a child with cancer; been there, but my son is OK now thanks to lots of prayers. SCSers are great prayer warriors; just ask!

thanks for the challenge Dani. As I mentioned I had my own musical challenge this past week. Thank heavens its over and now I can sleep once more without going over the concerto a million times in my head. Leading up to a concert I run on adrenalin and after it's over I totally crash. I did decide this time it takes too much out of me and I think the last one may be my last one. I have done this pattern previously so I didn't have to figure out all the angles and other than adding a star to the top it was very similiar to the last one I made. Here is my "Chain of Santa's"
Ladies, ya'll really stepped up to the challenge. Thank you. And for all of those thanking me for doing this....ya'll are welcome. Some of you are asking can you send your cards out. The answer is Yes. If you need the address just pm me. I am hoping to be able to announce the suprise on Wednesday. We shall see how it goes. Thank you again, all of you, I couldn't have done this alone. SCS ladies are the best. Speaking of that....are there any men out here? I keep saying ladies, girls, etc...Hugs to you all. Remember there is no deadline on getting those cards done. So please if you can't make a card until Thursday...please still make it she will love getting it anytime. Hugs.
Hi Dani! Sorry it took me so long to get here to check this out! I was gonna tell you that SCS would not mind if you put a link in and then I saw that CarrollAnn did already! Whoo hoo! A cute little cowboy signing a song! Quite the inspiration especially since I have sorta been *into* my WWW man here lately! What a cool song! Brings a tear to your eye doesn't it! It rocks......
Busy day today being a Tuesday but I will be back to catch up here....Great song, great challenge! This is fun, being inspired by a song!
MotherMark, thank you. Yes, this is a beautiful tear jerkin song. I chose it because our recipient is truely a vital chain in the Chain Of Love. She is appreciated way more than this challenge can possibly say..however, it's a great way for all of us to let her know that she is greatly appreciated and loved. So yes, if you get the chance please come join us. If you are going to send your card out plz pm me for the address. Hugs.
Jackie, thank you for joining in. I know our recipient is going to love this card.
Maxell, you take your time hun, your health is more important. Besides, she will love getting a card whenever. Huggs to you and I hope you feel better soon. I will keep you in my prayers.

G'morning ladies. I just wanted to let ya'll know...if you know someone that would benefit from receiving our weekly musical creations, please pm me. I have next weeks recipient already, however, it doesn't hurt to start planning for the weeks to come. Thank you ladies. Huggs.
Okay, here is the deal! Something very interesting happened today! I got 5 cards in the mail! And as I was reading the nice messages, I was wondering, wondering.................then I opened up the next card which happened to have a letter in it written by Kathy (101airborne) which said.......
by now you have probably figured out that Dani's 2nd music challenge was dedicated to you.........
Light bulb!!!! All of the sudden, it all makes sense including the message in the first card I opened from Bonnie, Love, Light and Peace that said something about Dani's note?????
OMG! You guys rock! I got cards from Bev Bishop (triasimite), Marilynn (apandi), Barbara(barbarar20) and Kathy (101airborne) and Bonnie (love, light and peace!!!!
And such kind words!!!! Thank you so much friends!!!! Blushing here...how very very nice! Dani, you stinker! You kept inviting me to play and I kept thinking....gotta try to get a card done for Dani's challenge on Saturday! Snort!
Thanks so much....I am truly flattered and touched!
Everybody chime in "SUPRISE". You are very welcome Cindy. You deserve to be honored. You are always making sure that the requests you get are always filled. As well as, keeping track of all of us on here. And from what I am told you are like this in real life. You are a very caring person. You seem to make time for each and every person that is in your life, again, including us on SCS. For that we thank you. As for myself, you truely gave my life meaning. I have made so many cards since the first time we talked. I joined challenges, swaps and I am even trying to learn how to run a blog (with not much luck). Plus, I am in the process of joining RAK and BRAK. Because of you my granddaughter has spent two weeks with her Meemaw making cards. Heck she even joined a swap on her own. The reason I say because of you is before we first talked, I lost all interest in my interests. I stopped practicing my guitar, I stopped making cards, etc...all I did was sit and listen to country music. When you welcomed me into your Teapotters group, you as well as the group encouraged me so much. You told me that there are people out there that need my cards. And you know what? There really is. Then I watched the threads and seen your conversations with others, you truely are out there helping anyone that needs you. Heck, you are even emailing asking for pick me up cards to be sent to so and so because of whatever reason. Just the fact that you can keep up with it all amazes me. Therefore, I just felt that maybe you would like to get the creations made by everyone for once.
I am sure I am not alone in saying "Cindy, you are truely, deeply, and lovingly appreciated very very much!! Thank you for being you!!!! Thank you for being a vital link in the Chain Of Love" Love and huggs.

Oh Dani! You made me cry! Thank you so much.......wow, such kind words! Honestly, thank you so much....I signed off to do some things this evening and have been thinking about this so I came back to thank you once again and found this warm and fuzzy message! And now I am blown away again! OMG girl, thank you for your kind words and for taking the time...........
I am so tickled that you are joining RAK and BRAK. I am happy that you have found *friends in your computer* like we all do when we join. I am happy that you are feeling the warmth from them, the teapotters, and basically SCS as a whole. I have said it once and I will say it a million times, SCS is a very special place with the most wonderful people on board. And I am so very lucky to be involved with an amazing group of people in the teapotters.......and the coolest thing ever is that the very first time someone plays in the challenge, the rest of you welcome them and make them feel at home! YOU all make our *missions* successful!! I could never ever accomplish the things we accomplish without the likes of YOU all.........Thanks Dani, I will enjoy each and every card I receive...
You play quitar? How cool is that? We will have to get you to play a tune for us at a teaparty! Giggle!
Thank you Dani.....I will be going to bed tonight with major warm fuzzies! Thanks everyone! Thank you......so very much! Dani and all of you!
Cindy, you are so very welcome. I would be happy to play a tune for the teapotters. Maybe I should play, what I will now call "MotherMarks Song" Chain Of Love. I'm sure the teapotters would love to see those tears of joy. (I hope they were tears of joy).
I want to thank the Teapotters for keeping it a suprise. I received a few emails asking "Can we send our cards yet?" As well as thanking them for joining in. They were very excited to join in on showing how much you are appreciated. You truely have a loving bunch there. There were even a few that could not make cards due to illness, time restraints, etc.. so they asked if I was ok with them sending a card from their stash. I told them absolutely. I thought you would appreciate ANY and all cards that are sent to you.
Again, you deserve it. You are such a giving person now it's your turn to receive. Huggs!!!
Also, I was going to pm this to you but it tells me your inbox is full. If you have someone that you need cards sent to and you already gave the Teapotters a destination station, please let me know I will ask those who play the musical challenge to consider sending their creations out. I do have a recipient (I haven't figured out what to call my destination station yet)for this coming Saturday's challenge. However, as I mentioned, it's always good to be prepared for the weeks to come.
THANK YOU TEAPOTTERS!!!!!! YA'LL ARE A GREAT BUNCH OF GALS!!!!! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT MADE MM FEEL THOSE WARM FUZZIES. HUGGGGS!!!
