Ok...ok..so this is huge...I actually plan to celebrate my birthday for the first time this year...with the love and support of my friends I am goin to get past it...my family did not celebrate my birthday...I wonder why they ever adopted me. So please celebrate my 49 birthday with me on October 9 ...luvs

I have no appetite lately. I made myself eat a fried egg for supper. Eggs are supposed to be good for you. And a small glass of milk. I am trying to drink more water, and eat more food that is good for you. My diet has been chips, chocolate, coffee and popcorn! I plan to think myself into good health!!
Ok I will trade you some tortiere for a glass of milk and some chocolate!!!! I need dessert after my walk!!!
Lynn steals all Kathy junk food and hides it in the cave!!! Replaces it with celery, carrots and other veggies
Is it ok to put a little peanut butter on the celery? Thanks for taking the junk stuff. It isn't that I want to eat it....I just have no appetite for anything else, so I eat a piece of this or that and then there goes the appetite some more...I am beginning all over again tonight and getting back to eating right and exercising. I hardly exercised at all this month, but my DVD player died on me. A friend at retreat brought a DVD/VCR combo in case we wanted to watch a movie, and then gave it to me! She said she was just going to give it to the thrift store anyway cause she didn't need it, so now I hooked it up and can start exercising again tomorrow. I do have one in my bedroom, but with a Queen size bed in there, there isn't much room to exercise!
Kathy, I am with you. I really need to start eating healthy and drinking more water. I am going to have to look up nutritious EASY meals to make. I don't even cook anymore, no ambition. I think I have gained 50 lbs just from sitting on my butt and taking naps all day long. I should start walking every night also, get my blood flowing.

So I will set out two bottles of water every day and won't go to bed until they are empty. Now how do I plan to eat right if nothing tastes good? Poor DH has been eating a lot of leftovers without complaining. But I know he would like something good.
Kathy! From what I read the body becomes addicted to junk food. So you need to wean yourself off if it. Yup..darn hard. I go through cycles. When I get good I can stay good till my sleep really starts to mess up. Then I am looking for sugar! Bad Lynn.. but I get my head back in straight and start eating right again

this weeks challenge is to create a simple card if any type BUT you must tell us a tip or trick with your submission!!!!!
Lynn, you bring that candy back! That wasn't mine! It was for the GD's. Well, maybe it's best you take it. It's a little early and I'd probably only get into it before Halloween. I really need to learn to wait until last minute if I am buying candy for others.
So this trick or tip, does it have to do with the simple card we make or you just want a tip??

Hey ladies......just made another card.....not thinking it falls under the category of simple....can I just submit my last card again....LOL LOL. Me and simple don't usually go together......hmmmmm.
Off to check out the Alphabet Challenge and see if Dani remembers who I am.....the letter C.....oh boy.....
Any type of papercrafting tip or trick....for instance
Miss Lauren! When you sew the gathered ribbon on to a card, any trick to keeping it straight?
Silly silly Lynn, you do not sew the ribbon on the card, you sew a row of stitching along the middle of the ribbon, then tie the threads together at one end.... then at the other end, take the bobbin thread and draw it in to 'gather the ribbon.....when it is the right length, tie the two threads together to stop it expanding....
Now turn it over to the wrong side..... even out the gathers and put a length of redline tape (the strong sticky stuff) along the stitching.... press down..... peel off the backing and place it on your card, press down...
