Well here is my masking card and although I tried to do too much in one card, I will post anyway...I am going to try another one.. It is just figuring out in what order to mask etc before you stamp...
My GS and family went out for awhile so have a couple of minutes to post this.. Loved this Challenge Donna.. thanks

It has been so quiet of late but I know everyone is busy including me.. Have had a great time with my Great Grand Son, 3 years and his sister of 2 months.. This morning we made a willow wearth out of willow branch that blew off a tree. He is taking it back to Grandma for her cabin (Yvonne)... Hope it stays together lol...They leave on Sat. they had a terrible trip took them 12 hours to come 250 kms... re routing etc due to land slides and wash outs.. Hope they have better connditions for the road back.

Well My family left at noon today so am just trying to get back in the grove again..Was so nice to have them round, and get to know the kids..
Yes I agree Lisa, It is just the busy summer season.. I will try to keep up but again This week I will be late posting.. My DD took my camera on a 25th Anniversary holiday so it will be gone for a week. I will miss having it but her daughter took hers to camp and they wanted some keep sake pictures.. How can you say No.
Great challenge Donna, will have to see if I have any fruit. I know it has been so quiet and but it just seems everyone is going and coming so much.. Think we just have to hang in there.......

Today is our Canada Day so will have lots of celebrations and stuff going on.. For me it will be a quiet day.

Good lord my dogs are sheading like mad!!! I am vaccuuming every hour and brushing every other hour!!! We are dog groomers all weekend!! These fur kids have enough hair to keep uis busy for a month!!

I just received a box of Card making stuff from the family of my friend that passed away a couple of weeks ago.. It is mostly Christmas paper and embellishments.. very nice and there must be 8 spools of Christmas ribbon...which I did not have much of. Was very nice to get as we used to make cards often together.. I think they gave alot of the other stamps etc. to the Pregnancy Centre for their craft supplies.. I am sure they will use it. So... I have lots of new stuff for Christmas cards..
Ok ladies..I am going to be a good girl and take my own advice..this is hard cause I usually become a hermit when I feel like this but that doesn't help....so...I think I am going into a depression. On average I have 21 bad days a month and I am starting to wonder why bother...sorry to be a downer...so go ahead an Gibbs slap me out of this...now Donna can hit me with a wet noodle...not Lauren...she would have way too much fun

Lynn, I am sorry to hear this. You are one terrific person. What you need to do is say f*&k it, I am going to get up, blast some rock and roll music,dance like there is no tomorrow and have fun doing it. And MAKE yourself get up and do things. I know, I just went thru this not too long ago. I had to ask myself, "is this how I want to spend the rest of my life?" NOOOOOOOOO.
Sooooooo, your right, I will slap the bejeezes out of you if I have to come up there and do it in person. (but I will have to leave right away again because I'm not suppose to drive). Get up, get moving, go for a walk, a bike ride or just a car ride. Call a friend and make lunch plans. BUT GET UP AND MOVE AND DO SOMETHING!!!!!!!!

Ditto what Donna said! I also went thru that...didn't even bother to get dressed! Luckily I had people who wouldn't let me keep doing it...I couldn't see anything wrong with it at the time! I thought it was great to stay in my pj's all day! So if you don't want Donna to slap the bejeezes out of ya....get outside and do something! Don't make me fly up there!!!! (I don't drive lol)
Oh no!!! What have I started!!! Yes I am dressed so I can run away....really. ..me run...even Kerr's is laughing!!!!..ok. I am waiting for food then I will take kerra out before the fireworks...ma'am...yes ma'am...off to smear applesauce in a card!! Ma'am!

Lynn, you better get out there. AND, go see the fireworks. What a great "cheer me up" that would be. Maybe that will help kick start you!!! I want to know what you do each and every day to get out of the house!!!!!!!! If you don't do something each and every day, I am calling the mounted police (don't you have those up in Canada?) on you and then I am sending in the troops.

Sorry it has been a crazy month! I had to make over 100 cards for a sale and then on Friday one of my tenants died, so busy with their family! Funeral is on Thurs so hope everything is back to normal by Friday! Miss you guys! ((((hugs))))

I made a card but having internet issues...took kerra. Out for a walk...want to go for ice cream but am trying to eat right...who wants to get a lemon bar!!!
Ohhhhhh Lynn, I love your card. I used a pear on mine too. What stamp did you use? I like how you stampd the sentiment background on it. Very very pretty. Great job, LOVE IT!!!!
