Good aft... I just got tracing around the mall with my GD and so far no ill effects.. First time since surgery..
Now I have to get busy and case Lisa's cards and see what I can come up with....
Just checked my gallery and see that when I tried to delete one of two same entries I deleted of both the pictures.. how do I fix that???? or can I... For some reason when I uploaded the 3 pansy card it showed twice in my gallery..so I tried to delete one and poof Anyway the script is still there???
Another quandry ... My stash of cards has grown and I have not found a place to sell or give away here as I did before I moved soooo.. do any of you have any ideas as to how I can put them to good use????? Well... off to make some more anyway... lol
Hi marney....no idea on how to fix anything lol....
I can't stand it when I have too many cards so the ones I don't sell I give to a senior's group because they can't afford to buy cards for ones that are sick or have lost loved ones.
marney you can go back into your gallery and go to that card and click on edit photo. Then just upload the picture and save and it should all be good again.
I give my extra cards to my mom and sister. I use a lot for birthdays at church. And anniversarys...I was thinking of doing what Lisa did and put a box of them on my desk at work and let people leave donations....not sure they would allow that or not.
Thanks so much Kathy My Pansy Garden is back and thank you everyone for all the suggestions about what to do with an abundance of cards... I give alot away to friends and family but still seem to make new ones when an occasion comes up....Love the idea of taking them to senior homes..... thanks again...
I am sick of rain also. Wish it would go where someone actually needs it I have to walk to work and I hate when it is raining.
Worked on my Circle journal last night for a bit. Wish my brothers and sisters would have blinged their own pages up themselves. Would have saved me a lot of extra work. Oh well, at least they all played along. My mom's birthday is Thursday and then Mothers Day is Sunday so I need to get it done.
Good Morning.. to everyone
Sun is shining here. but we have had a lot of rain too.
Donna- hope you don't get too wet going to work.. and I am sure that your Mom will enjoy your circle journal and I can understand you feel sort of put upon when you have to fill in the blanks on the pages.. I am sure you will do a great job....
The article about the store closing was in the paper last night Clinton Herald. Great pic of me........NOT! I hate my picture taken. The young girl that wrote the article, it was her first day on the job and actually she did a good job with it.
Donna, I think you looked wonderful! I miss our local Movie Gallery...we could rent movies and keep them out four or five days at a time and that way we didn't have to make a special trip to return them.

Marney, go to the SCS Home Page, under Challenges (keep scrolling down) you'll find a listing for Cards for a Cause. The destination for the cards changes monthly. I'm sure that throughout the year you will find a cause that touches your heart. In April I donated 20 cards from my stash to be given to a nursing home for the residents to use.
Also, cards are so appreciated for the soldiers to use to send back home.
Hi ladies...much to the homer hole's chagrin...I managed to escape for a bit...but the rains are a coming again and that repositionalble adhesive has a mighty strong bond...will attemp to find my crafting table and get into a Lisa frame of mind
All my extra cards go to my friend..her nephew is in afghan so we are sending monthly little boxes while he is stationed out there! Otherwise I pawn them all off on friends...I mean what are friends for!
Great cards ladies!!! LOVE them all!! I actually have an evening off and can't decide what I'd like to do first!! I do have three big packages of strawberries I have to cut up and freeze, and then.....I'm not sure!!
Had fun today! Niece and I went to the spa and had manicures and she had a pedicure too! I got french tip nails and wish I could keep them this nice!! It was a fun girls day out!
Thanks Kathy, but I hate my picture taken Beautiful card, I left you some love.
One of the first things I want to do when this job is all said and done is get a manicure, I have never had one and boy do I need one. LOL I would love to go to a spa and just be made beautiful. Ha, like that could happen. But it would be so much fun to have your hair done, a massage, manicure, pedicure, makeup done the whole nine yards. Ohhhhhhhhhhh, feels good just thinking about it. LOL
Good morning Dawn.... What time did you ask the above question?.. It is 8:45 here now.. I have a problem with the time zones... I have to get some breakfast....mail some cards and go to the bank... Have to pay for all that work on my van .
Tonight will be fun . Am going to the art studio at my church with my 2 GD's to make some cards. They open the studio Tues. nights so people can come and do what they want and they sometimes have lessons for various arts.. My GD is making Thank You cards for her supporters of a bike trip she doing for Cancer, she rides from Vancouver to Seattle the beginning of June.
I have to do my Lisa card...only have to day to do it to get in on time.....

I hate my picture being taken as well. So much so that I did not go to my volunteer job the week they were taking pictures for the recognition dinner!! And I have a DS getting married in June so I don't know what I will do then.
I got a brochure at the spa. I'm definately getting appointments for a massage and nails done again. I need to see if they do makeup there. I know they do hair.
Hello everyone, some great cards coming through, love them all, love all Lisa's cards. I have made a card, but have not blogged it yet, so will post later for you girls.
I always find Lisa's work so inspiring, so lovely too!!!
Have a good day, I am off to craft today, doing Mosaics today, fun fun fun!!
Good aft.... Just got my deck cleaned off and now can go have my morning coffee out there if it ever gets warm enough.. GRRR... but guess pretty soon I will be complaining because it is to hot..
Lauren- Mosiacs eh??? I have a friend that has just made her own mosaic. from the left over pieces of rubber on her SU stamp sheets.. Is that what you did.. I love the effect... I haven't any rubber or I would make one for sure .. Great effect for sure. Waiting to see what you do with yours.......
Hi ladies...trying to get laundry etc done so I can spend the weekend with my mom. In case I don't get on tomorrow before I leave I want to wish everyone a fabulous Mother's Day!!
Marney I would love to make a mosaic stamp, but that is not what we played with yesterday. We cut glass tiles (about an inch square) to make a pattern or picture and glued it onto a backing. Next week we will grout the piece and it will become a wall plaque or a trivot for the kitchen.
But I must start collecting rubber to make a mosaic stamp. That would be awesome.
Your tile mosaic would be awesome i am sure...
My friend just stuck the cut up pieces on a clear block the size and shape you want... she made hers sort of round... . She stamped her image, a sail boat and colored it. then stamped the mosaic using veramark over her image and then used a brown distress ink to sort of patina it and rubbed it off.. she then framed it with circle on her card. Anyway hope that makes sense but I thought it was very pretty and great for a man's card.
