Okay, I’ve been sitting on this for over a week now and it’s been driving me crazy that I couldn’t say anything until today!! I applied to be on a local on-line scrapbooking stores design team (Scrap ‘n With Flair) which is based out of Saskatoon. I found out that I’ve been accepted and am now an official Design Team Member!!! I’ll be receiving monthly Design Kits which I’ll be able to play with and will be posting these little creations to my blog and to the stores blog on a monthly basis. I apparently also have to do one You Tube video each month.....just a little apprehensive about that part.....not gonna lie. But OOOooohhhh sooooo exciting!!! Just thought I’d send out a little announcement of my own before I post it to my blog later this evening after our first “Design Team” Skype call!! Wait till you see the amazing goodies I get to play with this month.....this kit is SCREAMING my name!!

Aww, Donna, thank you. My poor blog has been so neglected for several weeks. All my heart and soul going into the scrapbook for DGD. I don't like the way the words come up either; I'm thinking of trying again to go back to allowing all comments; had a "problem" once with a spam so got kind of comment-allowing shy!
Sitting here at work and just can't seem to focus 'cause I wanna go home and work on the scrapbook.
Nice card, Lynn! Now can anyone help me identify the name of this kind of card? I think it's pretty, but she didn't put any directions and I'm sure I saw that kind of card somewhere else, I just can't find it or directions. Anyone help??

Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!
Vickie you can enable your commenters to leave a comment with no 'capture' (rediculous typing) by having all comments to have your approval before being published... it gives you the option to ok or delete before they go on your blog, and saves the frustration to the commenter. Sometimes I have tried 3 or 4 times and still get it wrong, maybe i cannot read or something.
Thanks Deb, but it isn't an iris fold. It is just pieces cut into triangle shapes, but I wondered if there was a pattern or if they just randomly cut them?
That is a beautiful card and I don't think I have seen it before...would like to know as well....

Kathy there must be a pattern or you could make your own pattern, each of the papers needs to be cut the same because there are 4 cards and each has the same pattern but the pieces alternated.
Come on Kathy, now I know you can do this, I know it is well within the scope of your abilities!!!
I agree with Lauren, it looks like you would just cut the shapes all the same size. You should be able to figure this one out But, your right it definately is not Iris folding. Try this.......send the woman an IM! LOL
Beautiful card Lynn, see you made it out of your Hommer Hole. I have been working til 8:30 almost every night and am in bed by 9. What a wimp lately.
I started a circle journal almost a year ago (there are now 8 of us kids left) and just got it back. It is for my mother for her birthday May 10 and Mothers day. Now I have to fussy it up to finish it because none of my brothers and sisters are "crafty" as they say and would not do their own pages. Talk about getting it back to me in plenty of time!!!!!!!!!
Oh by the way, the journal was called Childhood Memories and it is soooooo funny to read everyones memories as a child that they wrote. They all added pictures also which makes it even better. I think my mom will love it, I hope so.
Good Morning...
Donna what a cool thing to do.. Circle Journaling is new to me but what a great idea... I am sure your Mom will sooo enjoy it... we will all have to send you our mojo so you can get it done in time...
I have been making pansies. and I love them. So Lauren you did it again! Lol!!... we were not use roses so just had to go search for another flower... but I have to say I like these and I think they would go through the mail without a special envelop if you used the right centre...Will post later in the day..
Hi girls. Yes, I know I COULD figure it out on my own. Just trying not to tax my brain so much! If I can't find it, I will definately make my own with a pattern to save.
Donna, love the circle journal idea. My mom would love that! Maybe for her birthday in November....but do you have any more info as to what to do? I have never heard of it before!
Debbie I love your card.. It is so like spring.. makes you happy to just look at it... left some love for you
I am waiting to hear the bad news about my Van.. took it in for servicing and they phoned 3 times to add stuff to the bill.. I know it all should be done but I hate spending money on all that practical stuff..lol...
Think I will go make another pansy card..
Well aren't you girls clever, Debbie I love your creativeness with your punches for the fence, and your leaves/grass is just wonderful. I love it all.
Now Marion I think you have been holding out on us, your pansies are the best I have ever seen, I love them and am going to case them this afternoon. You are such a little creative wonder, love that you are here
I hope I did that right.. never sent a link before so .??? ...I don't have a butterfly punch like she has so I just made my own template ( made about 3 before I got the size I wanted... LOL) I played around with different paper weights as well, the heavy card stock does not do as well as the lighter weight if you want the lower edges fluted... I Just love them.. and I think they would go in the mail depending what you used for the center.
so there you go.. have fun Let me know if I got the link right just so I can gloat

Actually Kathy, a circle journal is a book that 3,4, or more people do. They each pick their own subject and the first pages are where you put the rules for your journal. Each person passes their journal the the next person and they then add to your journal. You can have any topic, your wedding day, your kids, anything you want. It is usually between good friends or family memebers. I knew that none of my brothers or sisters would do one so I did ONE and passed it to the oldest he had one month to work on his designated pages and then was to pass it to the next person on the list. You can google it, just type in "Circle Journal" you will get a better idea.
Marion, thank you so much for your card and letter. I received it today and it just made my day Beautiful card with flourishes and a note. Gorgeous Thank you soooooooo much.
So did we. Wind, lightening, thunder, rain. I love a good storm Good sleeping weather.
But........I'm not going to go exercise! I have to work til 8:30 tonight

Good morning everyone!
Just a quick hello! I do love that ray of sun card too. I found this card in the gallery that is part of the dirty dozen; she has a link to the tutorial (since I'm at work the tutorial is blocked, but I'll be checking it out from home for sure!) Anyway, if you are a fan club member, you will be able to view this card that has the link to the sun rays tutorial.
