That's a good idea. But I may just use my smash book for everything. I bought this leather type journal at Michaels for $4.99. It has a rubberband built into the end and you wrap it around to hold it closed. I am using it as a smash book. So far I've smashed a tag I tried to do using the acrylic distress technique the other day. Then I smashed a movie ticket, my fortune from the cookie the other day that said "A Little courtesy will go a long way"...that was the day the guy put money in my parking meter. Today I added an image I colored using the prisma's and OMS.

I use an art journal, like a smash book but with plain pages to start....

You take stuff and "smash" it into a book. It is a book of memories, ideas, etc. All you do is glue stuff in, write things down, etc. Any book can be a smash book really, but Michaels is selling ones that have good heavy pages and a pen to write with.
Kathy, please, please come and organize my craft room for me. It is overwhelming right now and I do not know where to start. My stamps are giving me the most headache. I need to buy the big binders and do something similar to what Yvonne did. I just don't have a sewing machine anymore. Never used it so I gave it away to an elderly woman that wanted one.
My BIL said he would make me a shelf thingy to put my wooden one on buy don't know what to do with all my clear??????????????????????????

Kinda feel like your ignoring me......just cause I was in your head and CASING all your ideas....geesh!!!

A smash book is an art journal with fancy patterned or picture pages so you can use it like an art journal or scrapbook where you stick things in it, put samples in it, put memorabilia in it, ephemera, tickets, souvenirs, ...... write in it, draw in it, jazz it up.....
Someone called it a new name made a little change and charged more money..... hahahahaha ..... I love marketing ideas!!!! Brilliant

Sorry, but the only hint I can think of would maybe give it away! Kind of like when my son was little and his hint was "it's long and red and kind of looks like licorice.." LOL
