So you may have wondered why I chose buttons.....I just may have a bit of a button fettish. I went through all my containers (yes, I said containers) of buttons a few evenings ago and sorted them all. I'd picked up 4 old candy jars (you'll only see 3 in the pic cause one broke on the way home from the second hand store ), and so I sorted my buttons all into large, medium and small. I then took three small canning jars and sorted my vintage metal buttons, white/cream buttons and then other assorted vintage buttons. Then I took one of my original old tins and that's where I put all my shaped and unique buttons. So ya, I may have one or two buttons laying around.....
Hahahaha Kathy!! With my button fettish I'd say I'd love to get buttons!!! You'll come up with something Kathy.....I can't stump you can I??
I've been pushing buttons around on my counter for the past hour and they just aren't lining up into anything!! LOL I was hoping they would just roll into a shape and I'd be inspired!
LOL.....go gallery gazing and think outside the box. CASE one of the cards that's already been done.....you have a whole week!! I didn't get my project for last weeks challenge posted till the final hour.....lol. Ya can't let me stump you!!!

I haven't started this yet....my brain is working overtime trying to figure out how i can combine this challenge with the letter H in the alphabet challenge!!!
Ha Ha Ha Ha easy peasy
Make a letter H for the word Hello .......... tee hee..... that would be easy
see I forgot....
OK.... I'm not sure how you would do that either..... lol
Look at you being all creative!! Great idea.....I have a few of those embossed on cardstock from a swap I was in.....never thought of that idea. You rocked it to my friend.....I guess pushing buttons around on a counter helped.....lol

No, the buttons I was pushing are still laying out there in a shape if I can figure out how to use it. I tried the galleries, but nothing inspired me so I had to think on my own. That doesn't usually end well! LOL
No, Lauren, I couldn't come up with an H and this challenge so I will still have to do something for H later!
Lauren, great idea for the letter H! Two challenges with one card! You ladies always rise to the occasion.....I love it!
Lynn, okay there young lady......it's one thing to dump glitter on Lisa's head.....I'm totally fine with that.....but spreading my precious buttons around?! I mean really.....is that necessary?! Hmmm....
***insert arms crossed, looking over my glasses, toe tapping emoticon here****
Lol Lauren.....you might say i just have a crafting fetish in general.....lol. You should see my paper stash too......sigh.....but it's all good......right?!
Lisa, I think I "followed" the blog the other day when I asked my stupid question. Will have to check.
Went to JoAnns and Michaels today. My sister took me Was NOT impressed with what they had for Spellbinders or punches. At Michaels, if it was on clearance, it was GONE!!
And stamps.......neither place hardly had any. I was looking for something for a woman's 80th birthday card. Nothing!! Oh don't get me wrong, I bought, just couldn't find what I really wanted.
But at JoAnns I had a 40% off coupon off a regular priced item and I did buy 2 punches so I got 40% off them because they were on sale then the coupon took another 40% off one. Bonus!!!!
Hi Donna!! How are you doing today? It's good to see you popping in from time to time.....and good job on the 40% shopping.....40% off the sale price....nice job!!
I'm off to finish making supper. Oldest son and family are coming for supper!! I get to have some snuggle time with two grandkids.....love it!! Later ladies......Lynn.....BEHAVE!! Wait a minute.....did I just say that out loud......go and have fun!! No rules...go and corrupt!!
Thanks Yvonne, is it just me or does everybody like shopping for craft items just as much as making them? Some times I think I like the shopping part more LOL
I have a ton of buttons also, but quess what I bought today?.............Yup.......buttons. I really want to make that card I have on my computor.
The card looks really really pretty in my head........but wait til I get it on paper. LOL

I wonder the same thing Donna! I love shopping and then forget what technique I was thinking of using stuff for! I am going to start a book with techniques so I don't forget everything!

... also a want to try book that has the supplies, the technique and where I can find the info on it....

That's a good idea. But I may just use my smash book for everything. I bought this leather type journal at Michaels for $4.99. It has a rubberband built into the end and you wrap it around to hold it closed. I am using it as a smash book. So far I've smashed a tag I tried to do using the acrylic distress technique the other day. Then I smashed a movie ticket, my fortune from the cookie the other day that said "A Little courtesy will go a long way"...that was the day the guy put money in my parking meter. Today I added an image I colored using the prisma's and OMS.
Guys that is a good idea with the books/journals. Wish I was that organized that when I do something I had the time to put a sample in a book and write down directions for it. That would be an awesome book to make. Hmmmmm wonder if I could hire a "pool boy" to do something like that.
