OMGosh! you all have me in stitches as I read your conversations about the naughty step, beating the post drum, midnight somewhere (pass the green beer please), word dissection, oh my oh my!
I cannot sew a straight line; my craft sewing machine that has never been out of the box is buried in a pile of stuff; I will prolly do some hand-stitching, maybe with the sew easy stuff that's sitting and waiting to be used, or the Bazzill "in stitch'z" that's waiting to be used...Yay for a challenge to challenge me to use some stuff I have yet has never been used...never say never!
Sewing? Sewing? Ok......who made Lauren leader this week? Can't leave you people along for one minute and this is what you do to me???? Oh you wait til I take a turn again. Course, who could stump these guys?
I don't even own a sewing machine. And stitch by hand?????? How do I make the holes???????? OH MY! Yes, I do need cheese to go with this whine!!!!! LOL
Great cards everyone
Vickie, did you get any good deals on your shopping expedition? Yes or no.....we still want to know what you got
Stitching cards......Duh.......OK, game on OH and a card for Sam, almost forgot
Donna, needle down, needle up, tie a bow, you stitched! LOL
Well, guess what I did last night? I pulled the stickers off of all of my clear mount stamps! I was trying to make a card yesterday and the stamp fell off the block and I decided I don't need those labels so off they came...all buy petite pairs. That set has so many little words and it is just easier to see which one I am getting if I let the stickers on those.

Huh? LOL
Kathy, you just gave me a great idea. Even thought you didn't even know it and nothing in your note gave any clues......never mind. It just made me think LOLOLOL

Had to go grocery shopping; so hard to take time away from crafting to do that deed!
Bargains? not really, but I got several goodies that were on my "must have" list!
Taking a deep breath, here goes: got 3 marianne embossing folders, a justrite stamp set called Cast All Your Cares, sizzix EF called Winter Botanicals; cheerylynn ornamental wreath & bow; memory box woven circle die, MB frostyville border, wildflower patch die, marianne leaves die, and 6 Art Impressions scene stamps to use behind the window dies.
We did 2 projects; I'll take a picture of them to share here in the thread later this evening.
Are there any Mad Men fanatics in the house?!! Finally, new season begins tonight! I don't watch much TV but that is one series DH and I enjoy watching.
I need to fix supper (gotta actually use some of those groceries!)
Evening Ladies! *YAWN* I just woke up from a two hour nap! Yikes... I wonder if I will sleep tonight? Waking up from a nap at 8 pm is not a good idea! LOL!!!
LOL!!!! Kathy.... thank goodness you gave us that lesson on sewing!!! LOL!!! Too Funny!!!

I was just trying to be helpful! Donna said she didn't have a machine and wanted to know how you make the holes....she's so funny.
Oh wait.....you mean you don't punch the holes in your paper first? You just make them as you sew????????
You can punch the holes with a paper piercer and then just stitch through those. I think that would probably be easier than trying to sew with a hand needle.
Hey guess what. DS came home with a pressie for mommie! I got a new GPS with lifetime maps updates! Woohoo...and you all thought I would get lost trying to find you!
Thanks for the info Kathy Now...........I don't own a paper piercer, I don't think unless it's that thing I got with my quilling kit?!?!?!?!
How do you get one with lifetime maps on it???????? Wonder if mine does? Will have to check. Not that it matters right now. LOL
Kathy, I will be expecting you in about 2 months.
Lynn, you can send me grumpy's pants but I don't think he will be wearing them when he gets them back from me LOLOLOLOL
Okay.....so stitching on a card for this week....I can do that!! I can definitely do that!! Now.....when am I going to do that? Off to go find some time.....I have none.....someone stole it I think.....maybe it's hiding in the corner of my craft room.....

You buy a new GPS from Garmin and it has to have LM in the model number. That stands for ....ta da....lifetime maps. BUT, it doesn't have lifetime maps on them. You go to their website and update your maps for the lifetime of your GPS. They say you can update four times a year. I would think every six months would be good enough for me. As far as that goes even once a year...
Oh you girls are funny!!! naps, kosher salt, mega shopping trips, searching for time, pretending confusion about sewing..... the list goes on...
You all make my day!!! It is midday here and I have already had a nana nap, Mondays are always nana nap day. Important to start my week tomorrow well rested....
So I am going to do my office work now, packing lists and emails for the week and then my phone calls to customers to confirm things..... chase some money, that would be good to get all that in... then I will be too exhausted to do any crafting....
Never mind I will post some more stitch cards tonight, some pick point ones.... different, old ones, have not played that game for a while...

Would you like to borrow my new GPS to help you find some time? LOL
Yes Kathy.....I would like to borrow the GPS it if it has a "find time' function on it!!!
I got my card done tonight for your challenge Lauren, but I'm too poopered to take a pic and post, so you'll just have to wait till tomorrow evening.....
Good morning to everyone.. Am waiting to see what this day will bring .I hope more energy than I could muster yesterday.. Sorry Vicky you have to work today... I remember those days well..
From Sam
I'm doing pretty good. Just tired of being in the hospital. By all means let them know I'm home and doing well. Just trying to catch up on EVERYTHING!! It may never happen!!! LOL!
Ok....so I have been bad...I really must finish some swap cards maybe if grumpy buys me the iPod nano....we could get an app to remind me of things!!!!!
