Ok..Ladies you have inspired me...everyone seems to be doing a journal...well you know me...I have to be a bit different..I made a junque journal using a dollar store journal..there are 6 ribbons adding extra sturdiness to the pages as they get filled up.. here is the cover and one of my pages. They were created digitally using a kit from Studio Tangie. She also has 3 videos on youtube for a junque journal.
Who can bloody well sleep when you said the four letter word!?!?!?!? Iro.... *YUCK* my comment on your blog will explain the rest! LOL!!! I'm too busy stalking blogs to sleep... I like to stay up late when I can! and it feels like forever since I was able to play on line

Okay, so here is another card I did using the Wax Paper Resist technique for Lauren's challenge from last week.
Now for this weeks challenge that Lynn put out to us. Now normally I would love this challenge....but I was at the cabin and the only scraps I had were from the two cards I'd just made.....yikes!! The jury is still out on the card I came up with.....
Hi Lauren! Sorry to hear that you are in pain its back to work for me today! But this weekend my time is my own to play as I wish, the craft store is closed so I can play in my craft room all I want. If the weather holds up we might do some yard work tho! Yuck!
Lauren, that sucks with the shoulder.....take care of it so you can get back to crafting! Lisa, good to hear that you'll have a weekend just to yourself! You sooo need that with how busy you've been lately! I'll be spending this coming weekend in my craft room too as DH works this Saturday.
oh how can you purge in the craft room..... clean, tidy, sort, never purge.....
oh dear does this mean I have a letting go problem.....
I am off to finish a little work than off to craft today, I think it is making a panel for a quilt we are making to raffle off to raise funds, and that means stitching and I am not good at that...... I will have to think of a clever applique something or other.....
Have fun girls, don't miss me too much!!! Love you all!!!
It has been one of those days....I didn't sleep a wink last night. Taking my good old time getting around this morning when I found out my niece had to be to work at 10, not 11 so I didn't even have time for a shower! Then I'm gone all day to come home and find out my friend emailed last night for me to call her first thing and I never turned the computer on. Her grandson is in the hospital, diagnosed with diabetes. So now waiting to hear from her. One friends mother has been diagnosed with uterine cancer (agressive) another friend quit her job due to anxiety and panic and another friend needs a knee replacement! Throw me an anchor cause I'm going down!! OKay, okay. I'm okay and can help them all thru....PTL I am feeling fairly well, cause I have a feeling I'm gonna need all the strength I can muster!

A Tuesday evening hello; I've been trying to get some April swaps completed...key word, trying; just can't focus for some reason; oh well, it will pass. I'm going to a craft workshop this coming Saturday (I prolly mentioned this before, so pardon me if I'm repeating myself!) So, I hope that my mojo will return as I'm doing the workshop projects. Not sure what Joan has inmind for us; she sent out a lengthly list of what to bring; I'm pretty sure from the list at least one of the projects will involve handmade flowers. And, she said some techniques that were taught at Winter CHA.
I need to check out MIU gallery again and leave some love on any new uploads and then finish the swap I'm currently working on. I went the lazy route and am adhering already made Prima roses to each card. *sigh*
Kathy, so sorry to hear of all the illnesses and diagnosis' you've been told about. It's all one day at a time. Do what you can to help but don't overwhelm yourself.
Thanks, Vickie. I have taken a deep breath and said prayers. I'll be okay now! Meeting for coffee in the morning with one friend. Talked on the phone to the other, texting another! Sometimes there should be three of me!
