Good mornng ladies!! Oh Lisa....how funny it is that you're always seeming to get wrapped up in these challenges....lol. I have one card done for this challenge and won't be making another one till I get home cause I don't have any more scraps here at the cabin. I'm off to do some laundry, put another coat of verithane on the baseboards and pull my central vacuum hose out to chase down all those annoying and rapidly multiplying dust bunnies!! I love my relaxed laid back lif at the cabin....lol. Oh....I guess I should prob dust too.....or find something clever to write in the dust.
Vickie.....gorgeous card. I left you some love. Please do tell what kind of a die cut you used for that gorgeous and very unique card base.....loved it!

I slept in until 10 this morning, so why do I still feel sleepy? DH even took me to DD for a coffee. (Please note: whenever I use the letters DD it means Dunkin Donuts because I do NOT have a daughter!)
I finally figured out DD the other day.....lol. It's 9:30 here and my SCS time is correct....and I'm still laying in bed contemplating if I should get up....hmmmm.

Lol Kathy.....I was on my iPad. I up and dressed now. One load of laundry in the washer already and DH made bacon, eggs and hashrowns for breaky....mmmmm

Good morning Donna and Lynn!! Yes Lynn......great challenge!! I have a [I]few[I] scraps at home I can use up for this challenge. I'm going to go and see if I can figure out how to do some pics of cards here at the cabin. I should be able to find some natural lighting to use.
Well, second load of laundry is in the washing machine.....the vacuum won in the battle of those pesky dust bunnies, my swiffer duster too charge of those sneaky dusty horizontal surfaces, bathroom has been de-yucked (I hate bathrooms) and I'm sitting down to a nice cup of tea right now before I head down to put a second coat on those oh so lovely baseboards. **sigh** I don't think relax will be on my agenda for today!!
What ever you do don't write the date in your dust!!!!! LOL!!!!

*HUGE HAPPY SIGH* I am actually home.... you know, in my own house? In my craft room!!! I spent about 30 minutes battling a major anxiety attack because I am a total mental case at times LOL!!! No I have calmed down, poured a lovely glass of wine (this is the trend of the weekend it seems) but I don't care because I have the day off work tomorrow as well. I am spending the rest of my waking hours today playing with some new toys that have been screaming at me. Oh and also getting Scrappy and I need to make a project for our Lauren's challenge that I totally missed! I have been such a SUCKY friend this weekend. Sorry everyone *hugs to all*
welcome ladies to this week's mix it up challenge....this one you can blame miss Lisa for. The challenge is to use your scraps! yup I said it...only pieces from the scrap bin are allowed.Now my picture did not turn out too well...the flower is made of circles of scraps of paper...the stem and leaf were almost that shape already...just enough ribbon to tie around it
haha...what if I got rid of all my scraps in my declutting spree?? haha

Thanks; it was a fun and easy CAS card to make. I used the Martha Stewart large border punch to punch the top and bottom of the card.
We're almost packed up to head back home. I'll be glad when I can just pack and come up here for as long as I want to be here......lol. I'll post my cards when I get home. Later ladies!!
We're just driving home now.....an hour and a half and we'll be home. I like that we're not that far away from home, but far enough so it feels like you're away when we do go up. Does that make sense? Lol
