I did a shaving cream card last year once, but unfortunately, I can't find a picture anywhere so I'm gonna have to do another one. Now, where did I put the extra shaving cream? I think I gave it to DH to use. Sure hope he didn't!
Yeah Kathy make a new one, no using the one that is in the stash of cards you have made..... if I did that I would never have to make a card, I have bins of them.....

I must've given that card away because I can't even find it. Not even a picture of it. I gave away a ton of cards about a month or two ago, so I don't have bins of them anymore.
I don't know if mousse would work or not. I do have some of that. DH uses shaving gel and that comes out blue and doesn't foam up until you rub it on. So that isn't going to help me.
All I have is Mary Kay shaving cream (my sister is a consultant so I get freebies, Love that) but she might get mad if I use expensive stuff on a card. maybe she won't find out...........Hmmmm
I made some of that stained glass stuff I learned yesterday, waiting for it to dry. If it works out, I will show you a sample and if you want to know how to do it, I will show and tell. I love it

Hair mousse, hmmmmmmmm.........nope daughter must have taken all of it. She takes everything even if it is mine and she likes it. She went thru my craft room the last time she was here, you would not believe what she took. She scrapbooks, so she raids when she is here sometimes. I don't mind except when she takes all of something and then I don't have anymore. My store must be cheaper than anywhere she goes!!!!!!

Coming up for some air!!! Shaving foam eh?? Hmmmm.......Hubby doesn't use a staight edge and I use a shaver that has shaving stuff on it already. It's off to the Dollar Store tomorrow I guess!! I've always wanted to try that technique anyway!!.
I'm getting lots done in my room but holy cow there is still lots to go through. I'm starting to run out of steam and I really don't want to!!! I want to get this done once and for all!! I had a couple of my grandkids here for this morning and then again for supper so worked on the room on and off all day. Now I'm trying to catch up on chatter.
I'm off to do some more surfing and then back to the room again!
I did the mousse stuff and it does not work the same as shaving cream.... gives a background, but the inks cannot be 'dragged' with it like they can with shaving foam.
So good luck girls, I have to buy some shaving foam I think, the boy is nearly out and I don't want to run him out, then he would know I used it..... hahahaha
Ok...I know you are new to this Yvoone...but here is a tip...if you are cleaning out the craft room...don't let the kids get in there...they will make a mess...not as bad as me of course...but a mess none the less! mmmuuuhhhhaaaaa
OK, hint.......when you use the shaving cream, you DO NOT need to use alot. By this I mean, DO NOT fill the paper plate with shaving cream. Don't ask me how I know this. Just enough to cover the bottom of it.
Love the effect tho. AND.......make sure you press it down into the shaving cream don't just lay it on the top and gently run your finger over it. Smoosh it in there!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't ask me how I know that either

Lynn, you only have 1 reinker???? Oh girl,you need to buy more, there is so much you can do with reinkers. Google it (your good at that) and you will see.
Wow, I can not believe I got both my cards done for both challenges already. Usually I am late and I mean L-A-T-E, late!!!!!
So why am I working on 3 more things??????????????? I know, maybe I will do the next challenge and challenge everyone to a new technique I just learned

Have the shaving cream need a plate and reinkers I only have one!
Lynn use your craft mat, the non stick one..... I use mine all the time instead of a glue pot, a paint pallette, a mixing plate, a spritz panel, use it girl, use it!!!

Lynn don't feel bad.. I do not have any re-inkers... Why I have no idea.. Just have not used them so guess don't miss themm lol... no other excuse.....
Well my GD finally left last night for Australia.. It has been quite a whirl wind week getting all the packing and stuff ready.... I will miss her for sure but at the same time happy for her... Hope she gets work and all that stuff.....
So off to another round of physio this morning and then hopefully get back to some serious crafting!! talk about a messy craft room.. Yep got one of those.. You know when you rush in do something, rush out then back in to do something else Yep!!! one of those
I am so sorry that you don't have a reinker Marion, I just never thought that someone might not.... Get Yvonne to come visit and bring a couple with her, she would have heaps .....

No worries about the reinkers will think of something and see what happens... Yes Yvonne likely does have a few and I don't think that would one of the things went into the recycle box.... I do just wonder what she throwing out though.. would be interesting to be a little bird and find out LOL
