Kathy, that is gorgeous, gorgeous!!!!!!!!!! I love it And, I love that stamp saying also. I always notice that one when someone uses it. It's SU isn't it?
The stamp set was SU "Merci" but the saying was Sweet n Sassy stamps from the set "True Friend"...
Donna sorry you had rough day..ill try and make flowers
Awww, thanks guys. I am over it now. I just hate my job is all. 18 years with the public and all I have to do with no help gets overwhelming at times.
Anyway.......I am going to work on a swap tomorrow with someone I met at that scrapbooking thingy (I do not know the techi terms you guys use) she is a SU demo and she asked if I wanted to get together because she is in the same swap. I'm off so I said YES!!

I finished my altered item just in time to go to bed!
Here's a peek (it's in my gallery also); I had just finished some meds and started to throw the bottle away when, slap me in the head, I saved it from the trash and turned it into an altered thingy.

Oh Marion I am so sorry you have had a long day, I hope that does not mean you are in pain or anything like that. We are all thinking of you and I think you have been marvelous in your recovery so far. Go girl!!!

Lauren, love your chipboard album! Would be a great gift for a graduate.
Donna, the lace on the bottle is from Hobby Lobby and Hero Arts self adhesive lace! I can only crochet a chain stitch that is it, a long line of stitches!
Thanks for comments on pill bottle! I started to toss it in the trash but took a second look at it and thought hmmm, some patterned paper, a butterfly, and then it evolved from that!
Need to get ready for work; hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday.
Hello Lisa, hello Lynn, Hello Donna, Hello Kathy and Hello Sam.... now who did I miss???
Woot Woot I am back from craft, fun morning chatting and being silly over there, they made boxes and I madly altered pages for my book for this challenge...
Now I need lunch and some nana nap soon I think.
Sam Sam Sam it is not weird to have bone from a bone bank..... people leave organs and tissue for donation to help with research or for helping others. Great thing... did you know I have a heart valve donated from a pig...yes that is a PIG... the sad thing is he was bred specifically and had to be killed to give up the valve for me..... I did not want a mechanical one.... yuk...
I love spare parts!!! my valve is a mosaic porcine valve!!! not pink but close I think
Well now that I think about it, it is pretty cool what they can do with spare parts these days. Imagine 100 years ago when they wouldn't have been able to fix your heart or my neck. Of course they did have bottles of laudenum(sp) that was pretty easy to get!!!! LOL!!! That would have helped me but probably not your heart so much.
I guess it seems weird to me because I've just never thought about it before. I mean, I'm listed as an organ donor and I believe in that completely, but I just never really thought about it before. KWIM????
Lauren, I'm grateful to that pig who gave his/her life for you. We might would have all missed someone very special if it weren't for that pig.
MWAH!!!!!
I love all the altered items!!! I hope I have time to get mine done before Saturday.
The rest of the week will be very busy for me. I have numerous pre-op appts, and work of course, and stuff I need to get done that I won't be able to do for a while after the surgery. I'll try to stay as upto date as I can. Then my surgery is on Tuesday and I'll stay at least one night and be out of it when I get home I'm sure. I don't know how much I'll be able to use the computer. I'll just have to wait and see!!

It is so amazing what they can do, that is for sure. I now have a steel ball with a spike and ball joint hooked up in there somehow and no pain.. can't figure that out!!! All the pain I had ,if you can call it that, was muscle soreness or stiffness.... So with that said will be thinking of you on Tuesday and of course a few times before... I know the week before my surgery was a busy one.. It will be nice to have it behind you instead of waiting for something to be done Take care

but the big question is....can you dip that fruit in chocolate?? Yep, I ate a half dozen chocolate covered strawberries since last night!! Plus one my niece's fiance brought me...
You peeps and the cloud dies.... they just don't do it for me, now I don't know what you are going to do with them..... make clouds, you can make trees and then my imagination goes out the window!!!
Nothing exciting in a cloud die for me, forgive me guys!!! Love you, love your work, come on inspire me!!! I just want to be inspired!!!! Love that movie!!!
Have fun.... I have a therapy session this afternoon, will I ever get fixed????
