Kathy, was it a SU class you went to? What did you buy for $100?
Yes, Donna, SU class. We meet monthly, usually the first Saturday of the month unless something comes up, then we just change dates. What did I buy? Well I think I own everything in the book...just kidding.....so I have been buying consumables. I ordered some 12x12 paper and a pink ink pad...all the inks I have and no pink??? Four refills for my ink pads. Some of the in color paper that will be going in the next catalog. Stamp cleaner refill pads, embossing powders, Tags Til Christmas Stamp Set, antique brads, versamark refill (I didn't know there was such a thing!) lots of paper. The SAB I ordered was Kindness Matters Stamp Set and Language of Friendship Stamp Set.
*huge sigh of relief* SOOO glad to be back home... I was so smart today.... totally cleaned my house before I went out so when I got back home everything is all nice and clean and I can sit down and relax and chat you you all Hope you all are having a nice evening

Donna.... I didn't have a class it was just a crop night... I did some die cuts and chatting with the ladies and bought some new toys *sigh* AND A TON OF RIBBON!!! Wow this new store has some lovely ribbon and it is like 20 cents a yard!!! LOVE IT! I got ribbon buckles!!! I have never seen these before, they are just SOOOO cute.... I'm gonna blog about my new goodies

Thank all. I cheated on the card. It is a stitching card. it's all done with thread. Sorry, it was the only thing I had with a candle.....I think, I'll have to look again. Stitching cards are what I started out doing, then got liking stamps. Yes, I did get a camera.
Lisa, I don't have any sound on this computor. Remember? There must not be a sound drive or something. I have tried everything, even my DIL checked it out for me and she could not figure it out. I have thought about taking my computer somewhere to have it checked but can't stand the thought of being without it. KWIM? I promise the day I get it working properly, I will skype with you all.

I like Stampin Up paper... but I'm happy with the Brazil Cardstock as well Some of the stampin up colors are fun... Melon Mambo was one of my favorites but I am no longer a demonstrator... I hated selling the stuff... I felt it was a pain in the butt for me... I just wanted to play with the stamps... I didn't care much for selling LOL!!!
What I like about SU is everything goes together, there colors all match everything. For instance they have ink that matches their paper, ribbon, brads you name it. But it gets very expensive.

Donna, if you order online there are demos on here who have websites. I know Lalatty is awesome and would be glad to help you with ordering. I get her emails and read her blog.
Yes everything craft related is expensive! I bought a few dies today.... a really pretty butterfly one that I am looking forward to trying out... I'm just so tired from this busy day I've had I am having trouble getting my butt up off the sofa LOL!!!

I liked SAB last year... I got some nice stamps The new stamp store here has ordered two flourish stamp sets for me ! YAY!!! I can't wait until the come in!!! It will probably take a while!
Yup seems about right Lynn... I actually hurt my back using my big shot for a little die cutting.... Man it sux getting old! LOL!!! Tomorrow I'm gonna be a blogging maniac! I have so much goodness to share it is crazy!!! LOL!!! I will finish up the old I Spy and do the draw and blog my face off about that too!
I'm gonna start up the Mix it Up Challenge... btw I got a PM from Dani and she is totally excited to play along and this makes me SOOO happy! We are going to have SO much fun with this.... Three challenges within our crazy motley crew!! THis is going to be a blast!
