I can only stamp ugly, so when making a card (ok, not that often) I like to use photos. Being the holidays, let's incorporate that too and do a holiday photo card.
1. any photo subject that represents Christmas or the holidays for you
2. taken preferably Christmas eve or Christmas day
3. I found this beautiful card by Kitty, use that as a design inspiration
Use keyword HCE05 when uploading your card
Snow is uncommon in the Pacific Northwest, even 2-3 inches is a big deal. I still love it like a little kid. And a white Christmas? Almost never. At our house we've gotten 1-2 FEET over the last week, and even today it's been steady all morning.
So here's my sample. And no I didn't do it, boo on me. Jenn helped me out :^)
So fun Daven! Will work on it tomorrow after I get some new pictures taken. It's just us three for Christmas this year so I'll have plenty of time to stamp while everyone enjoys their new Christmas goodies....lol
Oh, Daven! You made my day. I just popped in to see what the new HCE challenge is and found you posted my card for inspiration layout. Thanks so much! I'll take pictures tonight of our Florida (no snow in sight) house decorations and see if I can get one good enough to use.
Thanks for the challenge Daven. We don't have snow but lots of high winds and cold! Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

I should have found time to read this last night! Then I'd have brought the camera with me this morning - not that the park looked all that Christmassy. Hmmmm...
Here's mine. Couldn't get good pictures of our outdoor lights as I am a terrible photographer so I settled for the poinsettias growing in our backyard.
An Advent Card
This is as festive a photo as I can offer!!
Although I do have a close-up of the Christmas tree which actually was taken on Christmas day so maybe I'll be back.
